Reference Could Be A Little Better
I owned a pair of Reference speakers and they died on me really quick. That is also given that I had them underpowered. There are a few reasons why I wouldn't recommend this speaker. I feel that it is well worth it to spend a few extra dollars on the Infinity Kappas. Overall I think the Reference is a decent speaker. Compared to many others it has a fairly high power range, which is very nice. The other benefit to References (over going with Kappas) would be saving a few bucks on the amplifier. My call: spend a few extra on the higher class model and you'll thank yourself in the long run.
