Great for the price!!!
I just purchased these speakers & fitted them to my 03 WRX.
I can say that the sound is typical of all Alpine speakers I've owned.
The sound is crisp, tight & controlled. There is no false exaggeration of bass or treble, what you hear is what was intended for you to hear.
To complement these fine speakers i recommend a subwoofer & you'll have a decent sounding system.

Pretty nice
I love the 6.5 driver. It is a sold piece of equipment if your looking to add flare and sound to blow away the spectators. For the price you CANNOT find a better component set. I mean c'mon, it's even made by Alpine. Quality. The only thing that I would say needs to be improved ever so slightly would be the tweeters and their mounting. Everything works and sounds well it's just, you know, lacking a bit.

I got these speakers on sale for half price and they are great they sound very good and clear. the only problem was one tweeter got hit and pushed in but it did not efect sound
