Excellent Choice!

I am very pleased with the performance of this booster. I went from no bars to 3 bars throughout the house and the mifi works exceptionally fast. Very happy I purchased the booster.

Z-Boost cell signal booster

I was really excited about the reviews I read about this product, but have not been completely impressed. First of all the outside antenna is very cheap and flimsy, and the coax they sent, while plenty of it is about the cheapest stuff you can buy. On the positive side, it did give me one extra bar and my calls are clear, but still just drop in the middle of a conversation. My son is going to try putting better coax on and placing the outside antenna in a different location to see if that makes a difference. I told both my sons who live in a fringe area of reception, that if it worked well I would get both of them one for their home, but so far I am not ready to purchase.

Worth every penny!

We live in a rural area which already makes our cell phone signal weaker but we also have a metal roof on our house. Installing the zBoost allowed us to use our phones and internet hotspot anywhere in the house with as strong a signal as we got outside the house.

Very satasfied

I use my zBoost yx545 at camp, before the zBoost I would have only one bar of signal strength outside the camp and only in certain areas. Now when I turn the power on the zBoost I have three bars inside the camp and one to two bars outside close to camp. I have showed this product to my neighbors around camp and they are talking about getting one themselves.
I'm very happy with this product.

Great product

I have used this product myself and bought for all the neighbors. To use my cell in the house before, I had to stand at the back door with my foot in the dog dish to get a signal. Now I can use my cell all through the house including the basement and no dropped calls.

It Works!

With three phones and unlimited everything in the family, we weren't able to take advantage of the 3g network most of the time, because we live in the boonies. Even our phone signal was very weak most of the time, sometimes not even being able to call or receive calls inside the house. We had to walk the yard or driveway to talk with friends
Now with the zBoost YX545 we can call anywhere from in the house, even the basement living area. We are able to use our phones hot-spot to surf the web on our pc. It's not super fast, but faster than dialup. We have now been able to lose the landline. We are satisfied with our purchase of the YX545 SOHO.

I have a cabin in western Maryland in the deep creek lake area. Verizon had terrible service so I switched to AT&T. Their service was considerbly better, but I would drop calls in my pole building. After installing this (and changing antenne locations a couple times) I now get great 3G service. Just make sure you have a good outside signal.

Follow directions to a "T" and this unit will work just fine. I had to move mine around a little bit inside the house to get the best overall service but other than that works good.

I would recommend this product to anyone with weak indoor cell signal.

I feel I must add a little story to this review . I purchase this YX545 cell repeater from Sonic Electronix back in November last year . I was very disappointed with this product . It failed miserably to serve my knead . I contacted the manufacturer ( not Sonic Electronix ) and again was disappointed with what they offered . I then a banded the idea totally . They did not want to exchange the product that I suspected was defective . So I shelved the unit figuring a lost of the money paid .
However In September of this year 2013 I was contacted by the seller Sonic Electronix who wanted my feedback . After explaining the problem and my deception . They immediately offered to exchange the unit . WOW what a surprise . I did send it back and when I received the new unit . Wow again it worked very good I installed the receiving antenna in the attic . Not even on the roof of the house and It has been working like a charm ever since . I how all this success to the people of Sonic Electronix who went out of their way to solve my problem

A Florida necessity

No service for AT&T - T-mobile or Verizon. So it was land line or zBoost,

All our cells now work, some better than others. But we get a minimum of three and sometimes and some places in the house gets four bars. A big improvement over zero

love it!!

we love it! we only had one, maybe two bars of cell service before n now throughout the house we have 3-4 bars n in the same room as the zboost we have 5full bars! we were able to get rid of our house phone so in the last 6months the zboost has just about paid for itself!!!!!!!

it's not as good as the first one i bought. it had a a bigger cable that went to the antenna

The product was easy to setup however it's a noticeable difference between carriers.

Something that reallly works

I am a vendor that moves from show location to show location. I work at some places that have no cell phone coverage. I purchased my zBoost YX545 about 6 months ago. Now I am able to get fairly consistent 3 bar coverage in these remote areas. I move it every day from my working location to my temporary lodging. Instead of taking down the entire setup each day, I simply purchased a second antenna. That way I only have to move the base unit. At one show, I set up between 2 metal buildings. So I have to have the antenna at least 30 feet in the air to obtain coverage. When I set it up I do not have to worry about which direction the closest cell tower is since the zBoost seems to be unidirectional. I think it is a wonderful product that works with almost all cell phone carriers. It also works with my 3GL Verizon Hot Spot Internet connection. Verizon told me that it would not work this way successfully with 4GL. But I don’t think I will ever have to worry about getting 4GL Internet in the boonies.

Now, here is the negative. The advertisement claims up to 3000 feet of coverage (from the base unit). The brochure that comes with the unit claims up to 2500 feet of coverage. In reality, coverage is more like 15-20 feet. But, compared to no coverage, 15 feet is wonderful.

Great booster

I had great cell service outside my house, inside my house I had to be in a few selected areas, lots of dropped calls, this booster changed that, I now can be anywhere in the house I want to be and have great service. If you are looking for a booster, I would highly recommend this product.

Not as expected!

My carrier is Sprint/Boost mobile & my phone is a new Warp 4G. I have an open floor plan home and the product only boosted my signal 1 or 2 bars as long as I am within 15ft of the amplifier. I have tried several mounting positions around the outside of my home on the roof and i have settled with the antenna mounted on a pole facing the cell tower which is less than 3miles away? With a boost mobile tower that close to my home i expected much a higher signal boost as well as the signal from the amplifier inside my home. I'm a little disappointed with this product for the price.

Cell Phone Booster

I live in a mobile home & was having trouble with dropped calls, couldn't call out & people calling couldn't get through. Some times I couldn't even text. I bought this product & mounted antena out on porch where I had 3 bars on phone. Inside I have 4 or 5 bars & no problem with any of the above anymore. It did me good.

It works!!

We purchased this for a weekend cabin in the mountains of TN. We were leaving our phone in the window seal in-order to get text messages, and if we did get a phone call it would not always stay connected. Now we get 3G and 2-3 bars of signal, phone calls and email work normal!!
