This wire is very flexible and fit nicely in my 2000 nissan maxima. ring terminals were a little fussy, but that was operator error. very nice 150 amp fuse. Lots of wire crammed into it. Very inexpensive for the quality. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Decent Amp Kit

I am a professional installer first of and my father is an electrician. Following the AWG- American Wire Gauge standards this is not 1/0 wire it's closer to 2AWG, please understand that true 1/0AWG copper wire will cost around $5-8 a foot.

That being said for the price it is an amazing kit but should be marketed as 2AWG.

When compare to Kicker and Memphis true to spec 1/0AWG wire there is a major difference in size and weigh over all. 5 feet of Memphis 1/0 Wire weigh the same as 17 feet of Belva 1/0AWG.

I have never ran 0 gauge before and when I got it and took it out I was surprised but the big wire didn't really hurt the install it is still hidden under the carpet and it's thick and flexible so it was easy to run through the firewall. Now I'm gonna get the Belva big 3

The power wire is real thick, looks like a great amp kit, Rca cables look awesome. Only thing that would make this amp kit better would be to include speaker wire. Crimp terminals are a bit hard to install

Fit my 2000 Chevy Tahoe!

Battery replaced my dead battery and is being used for my stereo system. Fits my 2000 Chevy Tahoe stock battery mounting plate under my hood, a perfect fit I should say. Easy install. Don't need to charge the battery as it is already rated over 12 volts. Good battery!

The kit is good has mostly everything you need
, although I recommend getting a longer ground wire due to it being short , only downfall other then that great kit for a sub amp n other amp install worked great for my sub amp and 4chanell although I needed a few more wires for adding the second one

IT IS A GOOD KIT FOR THE MONEY. THE TERMINALS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. THEY COULD HAVE SUPPLIED BETTER 0/1 GUAGE TERMINALS THAT WERE EASIER TO USE BUT STILL A GOOD PRODUCT.

This is a very heavy duty amp kit. The wire is huge compared to other brands I've used in the past. It's flexible and easy to install. And it's really a lot cheaper priced than other top brands. The fuse holder is nice too and I like the color of RCAs. Like everything with Sonic, always fast shipping and great stuff.

It fits perfect in my 02 jeep wrangler. Top of the line product.

I was having winter start-up issues and I have 2,500w system that needed the extra long amps. Chicago -14* mornings are not an issue any more. I have a Tsunami 2 farad capacitor to assist and consistently power my Alpine SWR 12D2 subwoofer. I still have the slightest flicker in my headlights when I'm really pushing the bass but, the sound quality is solid and clear without a stagger. If you are serious about your subwoofer, you will have an XS battery. I replaced a 6 year old Red Top Optima with great results so far. I have to purchase long posts to attack my battery but I don't care. This is a professional product.

not what u expect

I would not recommend this product because. It I only a little bit bigger than four gauge. I do not know how they market this product as zero gauge. Next time I just have to spend the extra couple of bucks.

Budget amp kit *thumbs up*

This is a good quality budget amp kit. Power wire is almost true size and soft and flexible. Everything was exactly as described and no issues at all getting my system installed with this kit. The twisted pair rcas are nice and I have no noise pickup with them. There was even enough power wire left over for me to grab a few extra ends and do the big 3. Definitely recommend.

Great Budget kit, with a few shortcomings.

Overall this was a very good kit, with thick high quality wiring and heavy insulation. I saw no factory flaws, and since installing it I have had no problems. It did however lack a few things, which bugged me. The first was that neither: the ground, nor the power cable came pre-clamped, this wasn't a huge deal as I had access to a vice, but for those with limited tools, they may have trouble creating enough leverage to cramp the metal ends tight enough. Other then Having to clamp the ends myself (again, only an annoyance if you don't have access to good tools) the kit has performed flawlessly, and is a great value for the price.

I was skeptical about buying this wire, but to be honest it is definitely worth the money. I would invest in some new RCA's though, the ones that come in this kit aren't that good!

This Battery definably a great product for system over 3500 watts amps!! I am using it as a secondary battery to power my NVX XPLD3K and it keep the power flowing smooth and doesn't drop below 12.9V. This is my overall best recommended xs power battery for the right price for a highend audio battery to juice up your system. I have 2 in the back of my exployer with d6500 up front on stock alt running 5k system and my voltage never goes under 12.9v

It is a typical wiring kit for a system. It is a little short in my 03 suburban, so I just mount the amps under my sets directly behind the drivers seat.

Bang for your buck

Very heavy duty. I have one of these in the back of my navi with a 300 amp alt giving it power. I rest at 14.6 all day and with music doesn't drop below 12.5. XS Power knows what they're doing.

Good for the money

Bought this kit because of cost. Fuse holder is of good quality. RCA cable is nice. No noise. Plenty of remote wire for amps. Power and ground are very flexible. Wire gauge is a little smaller then zero gauge but not like some other kits. All the terminal connections are included. In the end, good product for the price.

Wire is great but terminals are hug

The wire is great and seems to be true 0 awg. However when going to crimp the open barrel ring terminals to it they are literally twice the size! Have to go buy new ring terminals that are the proper size.

I've been using this kit for about a while and the products are still in great shape. using it to power my audiopipe 3000.1D amp and two american bass xfl 15"s. wire in never hot. flexible. but the wire easily spreads apart for the cut tip/end if your not being careful and makes installing into amp/fuse box, etc ... more difficult.

Installed this wiring kit three weeks ago, very nice quality 1/0 gauge! Works great! Ended up buying some screw ring 1/0 gauge terminals because the crimp terminals it came with are a bit difficult to install. Other than that, very good product!

Big Bang

I've this amp for 6 mths now and its got a lot of power! It is pushing 4 Hifonics HFX12D4 at 2ohm, they be about to jump out the box. Good amp for the price but make sure you upgrade your electrical system before you hook it up. I got Big 3 upgrade,1/0 power and ground on everything, battery and cap.

Love XS Power products!!

To say I like this battery would be an understatement. I used it as an upgrade battery under the hood of my 2007 Ford F-150 even though its no t the same size as the stock, it still fits well in the same place, I'm using it to power a Rockford Fosgate T-1500bdcp and it does an extremely well job of powering the amp and my truck. Very fast shipping also. I love dealing with Sonic Electronix.

got this few months ago when I ordred it I asked if it came charged he said yes why have I been getting clipping checked battery ohh its reading 11 on meter so make sure its fully charged when you get it cant tell yet how well it works putting in 300 volt alternator this week hopefully this takes care of all my power problems otherwise getting headphones for the car

well the 2nd one just died in a odd way

i have reviews up for this amp about how i got a DOA and Sonic went above and Beyond to help me swap it in time for a show back on September 20, 2013. well on my way home from work today it died just shut off nothing fancy has a green light no sound checked all the cables and then plugged the remote bass control in "BAD IDEA" the 2nd i turned my car on it dumped full power in to my subs and tripped my breakers. (i have a pair of 40amp slow pop breakers inline with my subs just to be safe they saved me this time)
killed power pulled amp tossed on my bench hooked up a small 12Ah batt to it feed clean audio to amp still has green light On gain set at 1/2 O-scope sees a clean 1.31v DC on the out put with a 4ohm test load DC is bad..... power it off plugged remote boost back in powered it on amp dumped 133.7V DC in to the load for 4sec before batt died ate 10Ah in 4~5 sec.

i took off cover to test for bad mosfet's and guess what ALL GOOD it's in the Class D ADC controller lol
it has no protect light just dumps raw DC


all in all the Amp Rocked when it worked Benched tested at 2898.4 into a static 1ohm load at 13.38V way more then most for the money
just wished they did a little better soldering them and i think it has a lot to do with them dieing most of the joints seam dry.
wish me luck I'm going to try and get in touch with Belva lost time i never got a response

100% Beast

Had this battery for a few months to replace my tsunami 10 farad cap and I love this thing. It is strong enough to handle my Hifonics BRZ 2100 and my NVX JAD800.4 with no lights dimming at 75% volume. It is a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a good strong battery, look no further.

I have a 99 Dodge Caravan, I'm running 4 12's (Hifonic Brutus), 1606 Brutus amp, 800 PowerBass amp [highs]. This batter is the only one in the vehicle and the head ligths barely barely deem. This is a good a**battery

Inaccurate shipping

It was suppose to ship same day and arrive by next day which would have been a Thursday. In fact they didn't process the order till Friday and I didn't receive my package until the following Tuesday. The "buy it before" timer on their site is false advertisement. The product I received was fine but definitely way too late for what it was needed for. I'll never do business with them again. The battery it's self is amazing and well worth the price.

This battery will last and last charge after charge. It just keeps on going. I would recommend it because it is very reliable and can be charged over and over if needed.

This is by far the best amp I have ever owned. I have it pushing 3 Alpine type r 15 wire a 1.34 ohms. I have it wire to a yellow top battery and it slams so hard. In my town I am the king of the streets with my system .

Great amp for the price

For the price this amp is great I love it! I got it running 2 12inch Memphis mojo 5 and it puts out a great amount of power and sounds clean. The only thing I don't like about it is the bass remote knob, it's to small u have to like pinch the knob to turn it up it's not bad though, other than that I recommend it if you're looking for cheap reliable amp.

Wanted to test out XS Power so i bought this bad boy as a secondary and it does wonders now that i have my D3100 as a secondary the D3400 will be my primary supply! Great bang for buck!

Plenty of Power...so much I've got XS Power!

I've got this as my starting/system battery and it works wonders. Of course you want to make sure you have a decent alternator. My stock 120 amp alternator and this XS Power 3400 power my car and stereo great. My system is pushing around 2000 watts...at night I can crank the volume, run the A/C, my amplifer fans, and interior lights and i get NO dimming of the headlights. I also did the Big Three Upgrade prior to installing this battery, which is recommended if u really want maximum power. Great product and I highly suggest you get this battery over any other brand. SOLID BATTERIES

I'd recommend this battery to anyone.
Holds voltage like no other. Have not had to charge it yet (after 1 year of everyday pounding on a stock alt). It holds 12.6 after days of sitting, and I don't let the alt charge it before i park for more than 1 min and I only do that because i don't want to attract attention in my hood, not because the battery needs it!

Do some research on XS power if you still have any doubts and you'll see they have become the #1 choice among car audio fanatics.

Plan to buy another XSbattery or two for my next build!

Wow! I might have gone over board with the system but I have a Chevy Silverado Exten. And took the back seat out so I could put 2 Orion's in a closed box running them off of two Hifonics 5000 watt amps. I have had to replace my windshield twice lol I love it. Better and louder than any system in Alaska. My db at the comp was 169.0db and 150 can make u depth. Now that's what I call dumping.

Xs power battery

I had problems with power on my system in my car. I picked up one of these batteries and problem was solved. Definitely worth the money over anything else other than an alternator. Don't waste your money on a bandaid fix with a capacitor. If you want results this is where it's at.

I didn't think that a battery would make such a difference in how powerful my system sounds. I have an RE XXX d2 15'' on a 3000.1 amp. my regular acid battery went to junk within the first two weeks of my new sub. Now with this new battery, I also have a small xs battery to help the juice it takes to move the power hungry sub. My voltage is around 15V with the two batteries and drops around to 14 when im around full tilt. Barely dims lights and I am very happy. My roof in my s-10 extended cab flexes on quarter volume, before it needed to be around 70% to start flexing and rattling. I can tell i've got an extra 5 db atlesast just from a battery swap!! It is bigger than a standard battery so be prepared to do some body work. I got lucky and it fit snug. Now i need a high performance alt to take it to the next level for next summer!! XS for life!!

Pretty Good

I Bought this battery back in feburary and i havent had any problems out of it! it use to read 12.8-12.9 volts now it only read 12.5 all the time! but besides that i love it

Voltage problems? Not anymore!!

This battery gave me the juice my amp needs! My amp puts out a little more than 1800 watts rms at 2 ohm.. Before I bought my D3400, my voltage would drop down to the low 12's, but since then it doesn't drop lower then 13.4 on a full charge. If you don't want your pretty new amp you just bought to burn up like a firework then you need this battery. I only gave it a 4 star on "ease of use" because the new battery post's were on the opposite side than my old battery so I have to move around my big three wires.

I love my XS batteries. Im currently running two of these 3400's in my truck. My sub amp is ran low at .5ohm, so proper electrical is good. Total RMS is around 4200 and voltage is always good. Would definatly recomend this and will continue to run XSpower for a long time.

I bought two of these like 6 months ago when they came out. I had a sealed box built to manufac. specs.. facing up... 1 1/4 thick mdf( 2x 3/4) in the back of my ranger. I hooked one up to a power acoustik BAMF 5500 to 1 ohm which is suppose to be 3200 rms, after the break in period.. WOW!!!! I only have 1 hooked still and to tell u the truth im still very happy!! As soon as I add another battery and maybe a high output alt. i'll install the 2nd. a bit pricey but with a rebuild-able kit at $100.. the only sub youll need for a long long time.

XS Power FTW

I have one of these under the hood in my S10 and got this one to put in the back to replace the D1200. I know I should have bought the D3100 for the rear but didn't have that much $ at the time. Guess I should have waited and saved up since I still haven't installed it but I'm going to run both the D1200 and D3400 in the rear now. XS batteries are freaking awesome.

Got this to aide my 2500 watt amp and it does a wonderful job thus far always has the power when you need it. For testing purposes of this battery i was able to run it TWO weeks jamming my system after break in period before it finally lost the power to push them max.. Thats insane. You wont regret putting this monster in your trunk.

I have a single 12.2 Orion HCCA with a Soundstorm Evolution SSL 5000D amp pushing it wired at one ohm and it is the hardest hitting single sub around. No one has the same sub as me. My set up in my ford focus beats everyone that has any single or dual sub set ups that are in any SUV's. And my focus isn't even a hatchback. This sub is worth every penny. It can handle everything you throw at it.

this wire kit is nowhere even close to 1/0 gauge. even if it was pure gold it is probably a strong 4 ga in a 1/0 wrapper. very flexible and nice looking. the fuse holder isn't too bad. eh, i got it on sale.

this wire is seemed mighty small to be for being 0/1 gauge wire but still getting alot of wire for the money. just be ready to buy end for this wire to hook up your cap/amp because this wire for me was way to big to fit in any of the amps/caps holes/connectors for wires

No Words Describe the Awesomeness!!

I don't even know where to start. I've been breaking this thing in for over a month now and it just keep going. Hitting harder with every little bit it gains and rumbling the ground and windows outside of my car. I never owned a sub that produces the quality of great sound and power that this sub does. I like the fact that you can buy a recone kit if you blow your. Another + to buy. An Awesome sub, well worth the money. I've never get rid of it for anything.

BELVA BB5000D

This amplifier packs a whole lot of power for its price range.
For you audio competition guys, rest assured that this amplifier is capable of doing more than 145dbs depending on your enclosure and subs.
Now, in terms of real power output....no.
This amplifier is over rated and does not make the power it states.
Of the 5000watts max it claims, it can only go to about 3000watts max and clipping. 3000watts is still plenty of power for the majority of subs anyhow, so this amplifier still packs alot of juice. Now, dont play this amplifier at less than one ohms daily. It will heat up and go into protect. There are other amplifiers that do rated but are more expensive because like the saying goes... 'you get what you pay for.'

This sub is crazy dam loud

This sub is mad loud I'm going to build a custom 12 inch box tuned to 28hz but i had it in my friends car to test it in his box with a Kole audio Trax amp and at full volume i was able to hear it from my front gate to my house. Great by for someone who likes loud bass.

This is exactly what it says it is. I measured the wire itself at slightly over 3/8 inches. Which is exactly what 0gauge is. There are brands out there that are thicker, but they are oversized. Several companies make oversized power cables. But this IS true 0gauge.

Iight Im a make this short and sweet. First of all 1200W RMS - 2000W RMS is great power for this sub over 2000W on one sub its just going to ask for too much current!!

Now whether u build a box or buy one with 1200W of power or more don't go over 3 cubes with a vented box and under 2.2 cubes and 2 -2.5 for a sealed box

With that said im feeding my sub 1500W RMS by a RF T1500-1bdCP. For those of u that are looking for a box design i have a long box this is because my car is small and i need access to my spare i can take it in and out easily, my box is built from 3/4" marine ply and risen its 27.5"L 16"H and 14"W with a 1.5" (L) shape vent where u could put where ever! I have mine squeezed infront with the sub 16"H by 14"W

i also have a bass processor this is because the sub naturally will not hit hi frequencies it was designed for real low

I hope I've helped someone because it took me along time and alot stress to get what i wanted out of this sub but trust me it ratteles everywhere near and far.

For the price this amp is great I love it! I got it running 2 12inch Memphis mojo 5 and it puts out a great amount of power and sounds clean. The only thing I don't like about it is the bass remote knob, it's to small u have to like pinch the knob to turn it up it's not bad though, other than that I recommend it for your looking for cheap reliable amp.

Ok. So i was a bit skeptical at first about buying this amp due to its price, but i have heard great things about belva. and let me tell ya.. its all true.. I have this pushing 2 obsidian audio 18s at 1 ohm.. I only have gain set to push out 1200 watts at 1 ohm in order to break in subs and since im running stock electrical. The amp gets a little warm.. just warm,, not hot after an half hour to hour of playing at this level. the subs get barely warm.. hardly noticable. But they get down. I have in a suv in 12 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz. I must say.. i am impressed and all my friends want one.. as soon as i upgrade electrical, it should be twice as good and effiecient.. as for the wiring kit i got for it.. its descent.. very flexible.. and cant beat for price.. as for being 0ga.. its more of a 2 ga.. but with heavy duty rubber coating..w orks great.. ring terminals are complicated to use. I love this product though!

let me tell you... Its doing a 148db+ @36hz all day. The amps 1/3ed gain, sub gain at +1 bass flat. The response and activity the amp produces is amazing! That is what you need to be to own one or more of these subs. They put out a tremendous amount of bass. Enough to be heard coming a block down the street with dynamat. I have a Mb Quartz 4000.1 hooked up to it and it shakes my car like crazy even with 150 sq ft of dynamat i put in the car. These subs are bullet proof. Considering that they sell recone kits for this sub it could be the last sub you ever need to buy. I would recommend this to anybody that want to win DB competitions or that wants to go deaf.

I'm saving up to buy at least 3 more, but really thinking about 5 more. Some people cant believe its 1 12" especially coming out of the trunk in an 81 cadi. I really like this web site too.

Very Loud Subwoofer

I went through four different brands of subs before I settled on the HCCA 12.2. I was trying to peel my face off with bass and the subs I was using just couldn't do it. At first I was using a Power Acoustik FUBAR 12" sub. I blew 3 of those before I switched to an Alpine Type-R 12" sub. The Alpine hit way harder, but I was trying to put too much power through it and would start to smoke a little. So I began looking around for a single 12 that could handle tons of power. By tons, I mean over 2000 watts rms. After some research I found the HCCA 12.2. My amp was a true 2000 watts rms at 1 ohm, and this sub handles that. So I built an enclosure just for this sub, and then took out the 2000 watt amp and purchased an MTX TA92001 that pushes 3000 watts rms at 1 ohm. They love each other. I did have to hook up another battery to feed the amp but after that and re-tuning it with a DMM I'm pushing well over 3k to this sub daily without any clipping and it's taking it like a champ. It POUNDS!!! Period. I've only heard one other vehicle that hits a little harder than mine and he's running 2 Audiopipe 15's with about 1700 watts rms going to them. BTW I built his entire system from the ground up so I know how hard it can hit. So after owning a complete Orion sub and amp system back in the late '90's I'm glad to know Orion is still in the game putting out some serious stereo equipment that is made just for real SPL junkies like me. Get one, build the enclosure like Orion recommends in the manual and put at least 2000 watts to it and this sub will hurt you. I mean, the sub alone weighs in at like 70 lbs! I can only take mine at high volume for maybe 5 minutes before my brain feels like it's turning to mush in my skull. My eyes blur and my teeth rattle. It is just plain hard to sit in my car now with it turned up. And this is only a single 12 in a little hatchback.

I would recommend this sub to anyone. It is loud and pushes quite a bit of air for a 12. I haven't had any problems with it. It's big and heavy and power hungry. I had a few issues actually getting it in the box I built because it is so big and I have a Camaro.

I love the Orion's they knock 12 blocks away from my house and it's way cheaper and better than the JL w7. 1 Orion hits harder than 2 w7s in my point of view and the sound quality is way different than the w7s. I rate this product 10/10 and the customer service that I've gotten from Sonic Electronix 10/10. I will buy from them again for any of my electronics that I need. You will be satisfied of the service and the Orions.

Everything you need to connect two batteries together

I was impressed with the wiring kit. This is a great product and I recommend it. Everything you need to connect two batteries together is in the box except a battery isolator... I personally used a battery isolator from Blue Sea system and the post on it are 3/8 inch so the terminal ring coming with this kit were too small... I had to change them...

The only real negative with the product is when you strip the cable, it is so pack in there the wire open up like a cauliflower which make it difficult to insert it in the fuse box or the terminal ring... Besides that, it is a great product and added a solid connection between my 2 batteries...

The other difficulty I had in my installation is the cable wasn't long enough for me... I was short by a foot... (KIA Rondo, from battery to accessory compartment in the back trunk). So I needed to order an extra 5 feet’s...

The wires are really flexible for their size. Installed them and my power is a lot more stable than before. I had some older wires that needed to be replaced. I would recommend this product.

2 12.4s 153db

I bought 2 10.4s at first and 148db in the trunk. I have been trying to hit 150db with 2 12s for a long time had the Type Xs and 2 PDX 1.1000s my 10.4s were louder, had 2 12W7s and 2 1000/1s The Alpines were louder and just as crystal clear. I sold the 10.4s and bought 2 of the 12.4 hccas and went down to just 1 amp (Orion 2500 D). Fired them in the cab and fiber glassed it in to seal the box off. In The right box tuned to the right frequency, and sealed perfect. These beasts not only kill the competition in spl, but also sound amazing. The subs are still stiff. Not even broken in yet. And since i can recone them ill have them for a lifetime. Orion was the leader in sq back in the day and have come back to lead again. Keep this up ill never switch.

Very pleased with belva. Got my belva 5000d pushing 4american bass 12s. Lets,just say in less than an hr my back glass was leaking water through it from the rain. I'd recommend tho amp to anyone can't beat the price. Definitely recommend using belve 0 gauge wire to get maximum power

my first one was a DOA it did some very odd things.

i don't live TO far from Sonics socal warehouse. i stopped by and after about 10mins and some simple questions i was out the door with a 2nd BB5000D.

I installed the amp once i got home. a few little tricks with my scope to set the gains and wired up both my SoundQubed HDC3-15's and it was a lot more then i was expecting with how stiff the woofers are now can't wait tell they loosen up a bit. Clamped it 2596watts at 13.91v in to 1.71ohm with box rise at 48hz (wired to 1ohm) 148.9dB in the kick without any sound deadening in a 08 XB is not bad.

yes the amp is worth the money for a low cost back breaker.

Well for a friend and just because a lot of people ask me i ordered this amp and bench tested it on a fixed load bank. and got some really good numbers it will do what it says it can do and it will do it at 13.0v and that's crazy cool for the money. BUT

never got to hear it. seams it has a odd short on it's input RCA's that make it burp on power up and kill my head unit (alpine ida-x305s)
so i give it a zero if it don't work in a car it's useless for car audio.

the amp was great it seemed to do the power it says. mine actually had a problem the power light stays on when the remote is turned off. sonic wasn't much help... messaged them and they said I had to return it for a replacement, that couldn't work shipping from the Bahamas is not feasible..... overall did like the product and cant hold a simple problem against belva, products come bad all the time...

This sub is an animal, I had it on 2500 rms and it was wanting for. I'd suggest a bigger alt and big 3 upgrade. Even though I only had it for about 3 weeks and then my car got broke into and lost it but besides that it was a beast.

I just received my order couple days ago on this product, dude if you want go loud single 12 inch HCCA is all you needed, price is same as to 2 12 inch Kicker L7's and 3 times louder than 12 inch Kicker L7's 1.5 times louder than 2 15 inch L7's that is not a joke. I have just test this woofer today, sounded good never gets hot. Running on my MTX TE1501D amplifier at one ohm, I can tell that thing needs more power add to it, but I have no money all that so that's all I can do is 1500 watts RMS at one ohm load, I have use MTX TS8512 on that amplifier also, but the power they put out sucked, HCCA is the bomb overall. After I got the box I'll go compete again. See how many dB I can hit on single 12 inch.e

Disappointed

As much as I like this amp because it does hit, I am very disappointed with it. When I first bought it, it was in December. It worked flawlessly up into June when the weather got hot (Texas). When I would leave in the morning for work, it worked fine. When leaving, late afternoon, the amp would be hot to the touch and go straight into protect as soon as I would turn the car on. At night when the temps would go down, it would work again with no issues. I later found that cooling it with a damp towel would bring it out of protect. I contacted Sonic and they exchanged it no problem..... EXCEPT, the replacement is doing the exact same thing. When it works, it's great! I just can't use from June-September, 11am-7pm.

This amp has been performing great so far. I believe it's putting out pretty close to rated RMS, I have it running at 1 ohm currently. Cant beat the performance for the price. i currently have two of these wired to 4 sundown audio e8v3's. i have them both clamped at roughly 900 watts and they make the Sundown subs beg for mercy! very big and powerful amplifier. would definitely buy again! i gave a 4 on look/design because i feel the mounting feet holes should be a complete circle and not what it is. also i feel the subsonic has to be turned up more than what should be needed.

I bought this amp with low expectations cause of its not so heard of brand.
With it right now i have it pushing a rockford fosgate t2d2-15 rated at 1200 rms. This amp has not let me down. I have the sub ran at 2 ohms making the output of the amp at around 1800 rms. ( of course i dont have the gain all the way up. )
This amp puts out enough power that i had to upgrade almost my whole electric system. Including a 10 farad capacitor new yellow top optima and alternator rebuild.
My only problem i have had is when my car sits in the morning before i go to work if the sun is on it through my back windows it took a couple minutes for it to cool down and turn on.
I have since moved it to a better location and no longer have this issue.
If you want power but dont want to pay the 800-1200 dollar price range for the known companies, this is the amp to buy.

Very good worth the investment.

This secondary battery is very well worth the upgrade. I have a music system and prior to the upgrade I was drawing 5amps during idle and charging the battery. After the upgrade I was down to 1.7 amps. Yes both times the battery was evenly drawn under a load and everything was matched for both tests. Very worth the upgrade.

Absolute tank of a battery

These XS batteries are worth every cent. I used to buy used deepcycles for $150 but never again.

This battery stayed installed in my vehicle for ~6 months through winter while I was out of state. When I came back, it was resting at 10v. I was absolutely certain it was done for.

I put it on a 2A charge for 24 hours. I took it off the charger, let it rest, and measured the voltage: 13.0v. This battery is still good as new. You just don't get that kind of quality from other brands.

Better Dynamics from m y amps

This battery would be great as addition or secondary battery in the system. I have a pretty large truck that pulls a lot of power honestly I could do a little better as a standalone Factory replacement battery. My lights still slightly dim.
This battery is an improvement over the Optima Yellow top I had under the hood before this battery has given me a little better dynamic range and stronger power.

It's got power!!

Bought the D3400 to power my sound system (5000 watts rms total) and it's been great! Replaced my stock battery with it and I've noticed a huge difference one the sounds and I paired it with a high out alternator and it's all the power I need now. Would deffinantly recommend if you need power this battery has power!! The only issue is the terminals that I had to buy aren't the best for connecting their slightly small and will be a little loose if you don't watch it.
