Beautiful Amp

It's awesome, exactly what i wanted, great quality in terms of the product build and terminals. Manual had the answer to all my questions and all the specs are what they were listed as.

Great mono amp for Price

This is one of the cheaper amps, but does rated or close to rated power. 60 amps of fuses for 450rms @2ohms. For people who complain about fuses popping and this amp not working, YOU ARE WIRING YOUR SUBWOOFER INCORRECTLY. Clearly not one ohm stable and some reviews I read people blame the amp. Know how to use your stuff. Great amp, gets any sub in the right enclosure loud.

Pioneer "Champion" maybe

Not great for under 1000W usage pretty simple looking but completely durable and can take unbelievable abuse

WOW!!

The drivers sound quality is very good. It blended very well with the main speakers. Bass is well defined and not one noted or boomy.. Even though It still needs some run in time to loosen up, I'm very impressed with it. Build quality is very good and looks to last a long time. The only con that I personally have is the fact that the woofers surround is made of foam. I would've preferred to see a rubber surround instead... Rubber lasts much longer and is much more durable. That's why it didn't get a 5 for features. But for a nice, low price, I really can't complain.. Used with the right amount of power and the right enclosure, this sub is a true sleeper..

Works great!

I installed this amp over a month ago into an inclosed compartment in the back of a SUV. It has worked flawlessly without over-heating since. I really like the remote power control that comes with the unit too. It makes for easy volume control to the sub.

Good bang for your buck

Good subwoofer for the price they take alot of abuse and have a good kick to them.

awesome amp

Great amp for the price. Love the bass control knob. I have it powering a 12" alpine type r. It is a liitle too big for concealment.

Wouldn't Recommend

This amp has had so many problems. When i first got it in October it worked great, it pushed my 12s hard. But after ten minutes of not even full power it heats up and goes into protect mode. And i have only heard it a few times since november because it doesnt work in the cold. This amp is terrible. Do not buy if you live anywhere where the temperature drops below 50 degress.

Awesome Deal!

No need of a huge review here. Very sturdy, carpeting is great, leaves me with alot of space in my trunk. It holds 2 kicker CVR's that are 1600 watts max. Wont be dissapointed if you buy this! I've had it for 6 months and not a single problem!

I currently own 2 of these they pound hard but doesn't need to much power to do so ...they blow kind of easy but besides that gata love em especially for the price

This amp is not so bad pushes my 12" I've had no problems with even if its all the way up. only gone into protection mode once because it was a very hot day 100 degrees. and no air conditioning in the car.

Good enough to power smaller subs

I bought this to match up to my 12 inch Kicker CVR dual 4 ohm sub, wired to 2 ohm impedance. It was a decent sounding combination but after the amp began to overheat (despite the fact air is able to be around and go underneath the amp) I decided to upgrade to JL Audio

Great for Cheap

I get one off here and its a damn good sub for cheap i blow an 400 watt amp from it hitting so hard

Works well and pushes a smooth wattage to power my 8" L7 kicker. A great pair and the remote feature is a must

Great Subs

I've had these subs for a while now, and after they break in they beat hard. They look sick, a little pastic-like, but they pound hard! Well defined bass, these subs are well built and support the high quality reputation Pioneer has built. I have 2 of these powered by a Rockford R500-1 amp, and the entire neighborhood and hear me coming from blocks away! They are a good buy.

please spend your money else where. i love the pioneer champion pro subs but these are aweful.

I had one of these pushin 600 watts and it sounded great. got a Kenwood 720 watt amp and blew it the next day. great sub for the price but it distorts at high volumes.

jensen power 900.1

I installed one of these for a customer very easy to work , very user friendly. Did some testing with this amp and it comes very close to the stated power rating . No second battery needed. I highly suggest and recommend this product

Great sub, great price

I had a Dual brand 12" sub when I first started upgrading my car audio system, and no matter what I did, there was a persistent rattle, especially at high volumes. It sounded like it was coming from the rear deck underneath (where the 6x9s are mounted), but I never could pinpoint it. The other day I got some cash for a birthday present and decided to go ahead and "upgrade". I picked up this bad boy and the difference was immediately clear. Not only was the rattle gone (cheap Dual sub must have been the source, go figure), but this thing gets damn loud without any noise artifacts). Like one of the other reviewers, I'm pushing this thing with a relatively cheap 150RMS amp and it does the job just fine. The sub is installed in a 1.25cu foot box which is the recommended size, and I couldn't agree more. The last thing I need is a couple of bass blockers for my 6.5in speakers up front and my system is complete (until I decide to go ahead and upgrade the head unit too). This subwoofer has left me completely satisfied, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

In fact, my only complaint is that the sub didn't have optional male connectors for the speaker wire so I had to cut / strip the connectors off of the wire that came inside the sub box to attach to the push connectors on the sub. Hardly a serious complaint, but I'll give it 4/5 on features for that, I suppose.

Great Value

Some of my friends spent more than $135.00 for their amps. After hearing mine and what I spent, they wanted to hook it up to their subs. I let two try it. They were impressed with the output and wished they had known about the Jensen 900.

Solid As A Rock

Box was bought for the Pioneer 3000 watt 12" Subs and its a Perfect Match for them plus,it saves trunk space. Subs Mounting Holes are nice cut. However,I did add a extra lining of polyfil but,it was nothing to it. "GOOD BOX" For Subs that requires small enclosures!

Not worth it

I bought this amp thinking that it would be good to power my 15' Kicker CVR. I wasn't looking for big bass but I wanted a little bit of punch.. It pushed it good at first (for like a week), then the fuses blew. Then I bought new fuses and they blew within an HOUR! I had 4 gauge wiring though. My guess is that I had too much power into this amp and it was trying to push a bada** speaker. I wouldn't recommend this if you are looking for awesome bass, but if you want to push a little 10" sub just to have a little boom or some 6x9's, then go for it.

Great AMP SO FAR

I have this amp pusing 2 ZSTAT 12's and it hits pretty hard, I have not had any problems with this amp, it could use a little more true power though.

These subs are great! They look amazing! They not only look awesome, they pump out bass like a pro too. A great buy for the value! Not anything amazing, you get what you pay for, but for use slightly below the professional level, this is the way to go.

REDONCULOUS!

OKAY so here it is, amazing, I agree with the foam surround though, bad idea by Pioneer, but other then that my Pioneer TS-W303R sub is in my single cab chev, powered by a whopping 1300 w Kenwood KAC-8152D amplifier! A high powered amp is a must for the best sound quality from this sub.

Great Value

Was simple to install, good power output. Good deal for the price.

Decent Amp for the price.

This is a decent low level amp, but now into summer I am having much trouble with the amp overheating BEFORE I even get into the car. If my car sits in the sun for an hour or two, the amp will not power up the sub, goes into a safe mode.

Mostly this does not bother me since I usually have my car in the garage or under covered parking, but for anyone who parks in the sun often I would not recommend this amp. Save your money for a brand name amp.

Great for beginners

I had one of these for the first 12" sub I ever owned. It sounded great but unfortunately I had a little 220 RMS amp and it caught on fire when I was on my way to work. I recommend this sub to anyone on a budget that wants a little more bass in their ride but make sure you have a good enough amp.

Great price looks nice

Had a 400 watt amp hooked up, did an amazing job. then got a Kenwood 1000 watt amp, then blew the sub with in 10 minutes. great value nice looking hits hard. but DONT over power. recommended to anyone :)

These Pioneers are GREAT for the price. I underestimated them at first, but they pack a punch. I've had very expensive speakers and I have these for now, and I am not disappointed.

Impressed

I have had many complements from friends seeing this box in action and it even hits harder than some ported boxes. My friends own with the same subs I guess the filling inside really makes the difference but the only down side is that the box is rather small in person but that gives u more trunk space. Overall the box does its job just fine.

Nice box, no screws

Box is fantastic. Comes with padding, perfectly sized. My dual 12 inchers sound fantastic.

Words of warning: Does not come with screws or internal wiring. That's up to you.

Very Lavish Subwoofer Housing

Excellent quality for the price. Perfect compact rectangular prism that produces distinct clear slams. Strong and sturdy, exactly what your looking for.

Great box!

I received this box with a bass combo deal, and I wasn't expecting the best quality. But when I received it I was pleasantly surprised. It is made of 3/4 inch MDF which makes it solid and heavy and very sturdy. Its sealed nicely and I have had no air leaks whatsoever, my only complaint is the use of cheap binding posts. Prefab boxes can work just fine, you just have to pay close attention to the air requirements of your sub and that of the box.

Fried Voice Coils in 4 Months

I had these subs for about 4 months, no heavy use hooked up to a Rockford R500-1 Amp (2 subs wired in parallel, so a perfect match, no over powering) and I fried both subs after only 4 months of use. I'm attempting to get replacements under the warranty, since they were not over powered or ever plaed excessively loud. Before they blew, i loved them, but be careful, they might just only last about 4 months.......

Pioneer Subs

I put two of these in a bandpass box with a memphis marine amp giving each 150 rms, and they sounded amazing, they hit hard for the price, the only problem is they get allot of crap for their plastic looking woofer, but they shut people up when they start to move air, great buy I would recommend them to anyone

Pioneer Subwoofer

I just got this subwoofer over the weekend and I would have to say it is a nice subwoofer. I have a 300 watt amp that puts out 150 watts rms and it is perfect for the subwoofer. I would definitely recommend this subwoofer to anyone.

Great Box for a Great Price.

Put my 2 Rockford P2D2 12's in here along with my Hifonics 1000 RMS amp. These things slam in my Regal. Recommendation to people with older cars and higher wattage systems, dynomat your trunk, and better yet the rest of your car. You will enjoy the quality of your sound so much more. If you have the money I say it's well worth it. Also make sure your license plates are secure on your car, no one likes trunk rattle. Overall I give this Sub Box 4.9 stars. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a second layer of polyfil, it's pretty thin with just one layer. Wasn't a big deal, I went and picked up a bag of polyfil for around $5 and lined it myself.

It's a box

What can you say?, It's a box, like many other boxes, it is kind of cubed shaped, and well, like a box.. Seems to be put together well, hook ups were provided, NICE, as far as boxes go, it is a nice one for the money. Does just what it is supposed to do, converts trunk space to loud thumping.. I'm happy with it, neighbors not so much, lol..

can't go wrong

i have a 1994 ford explorer it has stock JBL door speakers but i added a JVC KD S16 head unit Scosche Amplifier Installation Kit a pioneer GM5400T 760 watt amp and the pioneer TS-W303 i have little to no gain on the amp bass boost on 6 and DAMN the s*** hits hard i was told when i got it if i want to run alittle more power ( already at 380 Bridged ) to slowly work it in. i made the mistake of jumping the amp to 3/4s the power out put as soon as u got my sub in and blow the voice coil in less then 24 hour ( real smart i know ) but the place i got it from exchanged it and no problmes yet i been slowly working it in burping the gain up to normal for a short amount of time but for haveing only $291 tied up in my system it sounds good that i might soon step up the box to a 2 12" sealed box buy a 2nd TS-W303 it pounds hard wit just 1 i am dying to hear my truck wit 2 after steping up the altanator or battary or even both

My friend has two of these in an 01 Chevy Blazer with a 760 watt pioneer amp in a sealed box and its pretty ridiculous. I would highly recommend these subs to anyone.

Boom for the buck

I have one of these in a non ported box with an autotek 1000 watt amp pushing it and it bumps hard. It says 250 rms but I think its a little underrated. These things will really hit and if you have a solid amp and wire it properly, its just awesome. I've had it for about a year now and I haven't been disappointed. I would definitely recommend it especially for its awesome price.

Pioneer, cheap, yet effective.

I bought one of these, don't be fooled by the brand name or the plasticy look....lol...in the right box, with the right amp...this thing actually pushes a lot of air for what it is. Great value and durability, the makings of a Pioneer product. I did eventually take it back, but that's because I bought an RF sub so...but still awesome for a local store sub. If anything, this hit lower frequencies than my new sub, and it's half the price...lol..

Bought this box in with the 2 keenwood bundle with the amp kit havent tried the amp out yet but I have installed the subs in the box an only on 70rms from my Sony stereo they hit real real good so I do recommend this product to everyone who likes really clean deep bass

A good kit if your running around 900 watts or less. It is CCA cable, which means more resistance (aluminum vs. pure copper). It would be a good idea to shorten your cable run as much as possible. A better alternative would be KnuKonceptz KCA series Amp Kit, or Welding Cable.
