Love it

I've had this in my Access Cab Tacoma for 6 months now paired with a 500w amp in a sealed box. Absolutely love it. Handles a wide range of music well, hits hard, deep, and clear (within reason). Compliments my JL speaker setup perfectly, not over the top, just perfectly balanced.

It has been hit by water bottles, dog balls etc while running with zero damage.

In a larger vehicle it may not be strong enough, but in a small truck cab this thing is absolutely perfect.

Crazy Loud

So i have this hooked up to a Hifonics HFI 1000.1 pushing just 475watts have crazy spl can hear it 3 to 4 blocks away this sub can take a beating very happy makes my outside mirrors flex

RE Audio FTW

I have to say that this is my first RE Audio product. I am extremely pleased with the sound quality. I am running a 500 watt alpine mono amp and a 1.25 cubic ft sealed enclosure. The excursion capabilities are ridiculous. Good bang for your buck.

Great subs!!

Built a box and installed these subs in my '14 Camry. They sound great! Ordered a bigger amp because the one I have doesn't help these subs reach their full potential, and I want all that they have.

Works Well

I bought this sub to replace a blown version 1 Image dynamics Idq 12 a second hand sub that served me well for 5+ years. The install was straight forward. I wish the sub came with some mounting hardware. As far as performance compared to my old image dynamics this sub holds it own. It plays every type of music i throw at it effortlessly. The bass note is warm and provides a very tight and punchy bass note in my sealed box. I am running an alpine monoblock with 300 w rms and this speaker can be very loud if you want it to be. Could definitely handle more power without distortion. Overall i'm impressed with the value of this speaker and the over all fit and finish is nice.

great buy still performs like the best

These subs bump and sound great. Put them in my boat with a 1000 watt crossfire d class and they seem to handle the punishment.

clean old school sound

this amp looks and sounds american made! inside looks like an oldschool PPI and definitely sounds like one. i have it on all 4 polk audio 6.5" at 2 ohms per channel in my 2002 40th annv. Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. no issues at all. sounds much better than factory Bose. no highs no lows must be bose! working on my 2002 trans am now! great value for the price!

Awesome subwoofer Awesome price

I have owned many subwoofers and this RE audio SCX 12" is by far the best! The X-max alone puts this subwoofer in a class that costs almost double from other manufacturers. The sound quality is amazing. I would definitely recommend this subwoofer to anyone who is looking for an awesome sound at a good price. I have the 12" SCX in a 1.6cu.ft. vent style port tuned to 33hz and I am in heaven with its sound quality.

Hard Hitters

almost a year since I ordered these and they are still hitting hard as they were the day I installed them in my car. I'm going to upgrade to the 15's once I get my S.U.V . Great Speakers R.E Audio

Decent subs for the price

Theses subs are decent subs for price. I bought the 12's for a sealed box in my dodge ram 1500. And they do the job well and don't really have any complaints so far but wouldn't run anymore then the 450 rms power tho. And a side note these are re audio's only sub that is made in China.

SOLID WOOFER

I purchased this woofer, it arrived on timely manner and in great condition (NEW in Box).
I ran a sound test in Free Air because my box was still in route.
The woofer sounded good delivering lows well into the 30 - 35hz range
Mid lows were solid, Midrange was a bit muddy , but remember this is free air so I did not crank it up too much. I say for the most part this woofer performed well and will work well as a expected , delivering good lows. Unfortunately I had to return due to it would not fit My sub box configuration.

Hands Down BEST Kit Available! True AWG OFC Cables!

This 4 AWG amp power kit is the absolute best kit available! I can't even begin to state how pleased I am with this kit, I normally wouldn't care to write a review but am pushed to do so due to being 150% satisfied! Don't make the same mistake I made a go with a cheaper kit thinking that there is no reason to spend the extra $15 or so bucks! This kit is absolutely worth the money over the cheap kits out there. Not only are these cables true to gauge (the difference between this and some of the others is quite astounding) but its also fully oxygen free copper and not the cruddy copper clad aluminum you get with the cheap kits. Saying that, spending $100 on a top brand name kit is definitely not worth the price as this kit easily meets and more often exceeds the quality of the other more expensive ones available. The wire has a high quality case and is also very flexible and easy to snake through tight corners. Huge kudos for having it ready to go with the ring terminals already installed as well as having the fuse holder connected with rubber grommeting one each end. The power cable also has a mesh covering for the part that is inside the engine bay. Also, the RCA cables are very high quality as well and triple shielded and twisted. Unfortunately I couldn't use the grommet included due to the thicker heat shield in my 2500 truck but I am not worried about that. One note, the fuse that is included is a 120 amp fuse, so if your amp has a lower rating, I highly recommend purchasing one separately.

Overall, If your looking to get a 4 gauge wiring kit, this is the one to go with! You get way better quality than that of the cheap kits while not spending a super amount of money on top brand name kits (where your paying for the name alone, this kit is of higher quality than 99.9% of the others I've seen). HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Best kit available in this price range.

I've used many 4AWG amp kits over the years that cost double what this one cost and didn't come close to the quality you get in this kit. Hands down the best available in this price range. Period. True spec OFC wire. Nice firewall grommet. The pre-assembled cables make installation a breeze. I highly recommend this kit.

Amazing Wiring Kit

This is wiring kit is amazing. All the PROS and no CONS. The wire is flexible, easy to install, heat shielded (main power wire), and all are good length. RCA's are top notch, also very flexible and easy to install. The price is great also, you could try and save yourself some $ and go with a cheaper kit, but I would NOT recommend it. This kit is 100% solid and a great value.

Works great

Wire is very flexible.. can probably tie knots in it if you tried. The spade terminal things are a little big, but I used a vice and soldered the wire to the metal so the connection is better. Overall I think this is a great kit for the money

FYI: You will need a 7/8" hole saw. (not listed anywhere, this information would've helped me.)

All I can say is wow the wire actually could pass as 0 guage and is very flexible even the aux wires feel nice and think worth the price! Love how simple it is!

The only note I will mention and this kit isn't different than many others is the power wire was 17ft long. for my install in my 2012 F150 from the battery to the rear wall of the cab it was JUST enough. I would have preferred 20ft, but this is going to be resolved with a power block.

Good buy

This box is the best box for the money. Nicely built. The inside terminals are a little cheesy to me though but oh well. My Re subs were also a little big for the opening so I had to take a jig saw to it. Anyway the box works for now until I can afford a custom one.

great box

I bought this box a few months back, I put 2 12" Pioneer Champion Pro series 3500w apiece, pounding this box in its still hold up great not a crack in it, pure solid, super thick box, great sound. Wonderful buy in worth money trust me I have 7000watts pounding.

Great bang for your dollar box!

For 80 bucks with shipping you can't argue that this is a great deal! Box comes with Poly fill which is nice. Clips are great and carpet is well glued on. Easy to install and sounds great!

Excellent box!

The build quality, fit and finish, and materials are all top notch. This box looks and performs extremely well. I have over 1,000w RMS pumping out of this thing and the sound is awesome. I do experience some port noise when really pushing hard but it's hardly noticeable from the trunk and I don't know that it could be avoided for any less than 5 times the money. Highly reccomended.

Terrible material

The box is overall built well, but is made out of terrible material choice. When attaching the sub, the screw caused part of the lip/mounting face to chip off. The warranty is only good if nothing is mounted or screwed. Besides, return shipping is almost $35, which makes it not really worth it. Stay away from this product because you might get one made from defective MDF and then there is nothing you can do about it once you've put so much as a single hole on the box.

Only complaint about this box is the terminals over heat and burn into the plastic. If you replace the terminals its is a good box.

Good boxBad terminals

The box is good. Its tuned a little high but is an easy fix with proper tuning. Terminals.... Cups a little too big and the worst part is they are not durable at all. Busted one of them just tightening it and i could tell they will rattle loose. I took mine out and filled in the holes.

Overall good box!

I bought this box to use with my two Pioneer TS-W3002D4 subs. I chose this box as opposed to all of the other ones because it was in the specs of my subs for the best sq/spl. The only downside to the box is the inside terminals for the wiring of subs. The outside terminals are great, but the ones inside you have to use aprox. 12 gauge or smaller wire to use the size of quick disconnect plugs on your wires...which make it difficult to easily use 8 gauge or even 10 gauge wire inside the box. It seems to be holding up well and made of good materials. I rated it's value at 4 stars simply because of the shipping. The box was cheap, but with shipping it increased dramatically by almost the cost of the box itself, which is no fault to SonicElectronix. Features I rated at 3 stars because of the inside terminals are difficult to use with bigger size wire without altering the way it is made. One thing I would have liked is the box being tuned a little lower, maybe 35 or 38 Hz would have been better, but for a prefab box you can't go wrong with this one! Overall It's an awesome box!

Good and cheap

Its a good solid box but it has real bad terminals which is fine. I just used 8 gauge and replaced them. Really nice box!

Got this box thinking it would be a piece of crap but it shocked me the for price its truly a great buy its solid heavy good box sounds goods and still holding up very well after 8 months of use i would recomend to somebody who wants to pay more for a box look no futher its the 1.
