Alpine, you did well!

Great amp if you need extra power to power an aftermarket sub especially wired down to 1 ohm. Replaced my factory sub with a Kicker dual 2 ohm free air subwoofer and used the Alpine to feed it power. 90w was sufficient enough to feed the sub with the low level signal coming from the factory bose amplifier. Didn't need the rux nob because I can control the bass & subwoofer level output off the factory headunit. Very compact, very efficient, very easy to install....4 wires and you're done. I only wish alpine had a more powerful model maybe 150/200w rms but I'm very content with it. Installed this in my 2006 Acura RL with no subwoofer burbs, and no active noise cancellation or phase distortion.

Works good

The amp works good, the only con is that I didn't notice it only has high level inputs, no rca input, but I made it work. I used it to power my factory Bose subwoofer in the console of a 2004 suburban which is a 2 ohm dvc, so the amp is running a 1 ohm load and it works fine.
