Very nice basic crossover with a few nice quality extras
There is nothing fancy about this crossover but you do get some quality features for the money like a built in line driver and subsonic filter. I used this to go active in my wife's 2014 Toyota Sienna with Focal 6.5" woofers and Peerless/Vifa tweeters. Using REW RTA software with a mimi dsp mic to look at the frequency response and the speakers cross over at 3600 Hz very well and sound fantastic together. I'm powering these speakers with an NVX mini 4 ch amp and the 4 volt max output from the pioneer HU wasn't enough to keep the gain on the amp low enough below the hiss of the amp so I minimized the gain on the amp to its lowest setting and used the Audio Controls 2XS built in line driver to drive the amp to the desired level/power for the speakers and eliminated the background hiss or noise from the NVX amp. Sound quality went up and I didn't need an monster amplifier with passive crossovers to get the desired results I wanted with my components.
