Excellent EQ!
This is a great eq, specially for the price. its cheap for just a line driver, let alone an eq with 7 volt preamp outputs. plus you have 18db worth of attenuation on each band, so its a really powerful tuning tool. If you know what youre doing and want the best sound, a high quality EQ like this is a must!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used to constantly mess with my radio to adjust the sound but i was never really satisfied so i saw this EQ and i thought i would try it out to see what it could do and WOW this thing is amazing it lets you adjust so many different things to get your sound just like you want. I love it and im going to buy another one soon just in case..it looks cool and it doesnt look cheap.
By the way when i installed mine my speakers started that annoying alternator whine but all i had to do was get some wire and strip about 5 inches of the insulation off and ground it and it went away.

its well worth it
I bought this to replace my last one it started going out. I was thinking about getting a zappco that's what i had. I went with this because it was cheap looked clean n had good reviews on other sites as well. Over all im extremely pleased with cadence it has smooth response when twisting the knobs no scratching noise. I did a short ground and didn't get any engine noise all of the adjustment sound clear. I'll recommend this to anyone looking for a simple equalizer that controls not only just the volume but pitches of mids highs n lows as well as sub woofer frequency and volume

Excellent!
Bought this after first trying the HiFonics HFEQ. I wanted the line driver and sub controls that both offered, but originally went with the HFEQ because it had crossovers for the sub and front/rear channels while the Cadence CEQ only has one for the sub.
The HFEQ was pretty good, other than it introduced a hiss that was difficult to eliminate without turning the levels down so much that I couldn't hear the music anymore. Was worried it was my wiring, even though I followed all the rules of avoiding noise that I knew. Also, the HFEQ was only 4 bands and I was having to many issues with frequencies in the middle, which the HFEQ only has one adjustment for.
Decided to go for the Cadence CEQ773 for the extra adjustments in the midrange. Was hesitant because I thought with such a low price it might not be very good. Glad I went for it because it is GREAT! The extra bands allow enough adjustments to get the sound I want. Also, the hiss that I had with the HFEQ is completely GONE!
The unit looks well built and feels solid. Would look fine in the dash, but I am keeping the stock look in the dash so I mounted mine in the center armrest storage and it fits great. Sub control includes a level control and variable crossover level which is really great so I can set the crossover high on my amp and lower on the EQ from the drivers seat if needed.
All in all, I would highly recommend if you are looking for a great buy on an EQ w/line driver.

Good for the price but sends a distorted signal
PROS: Separate volume for bass and speakers.
CONS: Hooked the eq up to a DD-1 and the eq sends out a distorted signal to the bass when the gain on the eq is 1/8 of the way turned up. Pretty cheap processor, you get what you pay for, also the buttons take a little to get used to.

For Sure.
You most certainly cant beat the price for what it does. I was gonna get the powerbass eq and im glad I didnt because the powerbass has no line driver. 7volt line driver is huge SQ and DB increase. Many don't realize how dramatic a simple 0.3 Voltage increase can be! Let alone going from 2.0 Volts to 7 Volts. is way big and will increase DB and SQ quite a bit. Although this is a line driver if you have a voltage Drop preamp and pre-Eq than there is for sure something wrong and should find the problem.

Super EQ & Line driver
I was looking for an eq with a line driver for a good price. Sonic had this on special and it was special, the Cadence eq is loaded with features and it is very clean and crisp.
2 things I really like was the fact that the 7 band equalizer does not affect the subwoofer at any time so I can tune my highs without affecting my lows. Thanks Sonic.

good bang for the buck!
Great unit! You can't argue with 7 bands of EQ. I love the illumination, nice and bright. The feature I like most are the separate volume and subwoofer controls. I like making adjustments more with physical knobs rather than scrolling through the options in the head unit. Crossover on the sub control and a bonus on mp3/line input. If you're looking for an EQ at a low price, this one cant be beat.

Good Product
I ordered this Cadence equalizer on sale because of all the positive reviews I read on this site & others. It does what it's supposed to which is give you immediate & convenient adjustment of your audio system without having to go through the various menus that today's head units make you go through. This equalizer definitely cleaned up & improved my sound & being able to adjust your sub woofer volume so quickly & easily is great. Now for the things that I didn't like about the unit. The volume/fader dials & the sub woofer volume/crossover dials should be separate. If you look at the product pictures the volume/fader button is configured with the volume being the outer/smaller button & the fader being the inner/larger dial. This is somewhat annoying to adjust while driving, also the inner buttons are not clearly marked so it's hard to tell where it's set at without turning it all the way up or all the way down. The sub woofer crossover button does not seem to have much of an effect on the sound so you're better off making that adjustment on your amp. & finally & this is not the fault of the product, the blue back light of the dials are pretty bright & can't be adjusted. That wouldn't bother me if the rest of my dash controls & lights were blue but they're not they're green. I didn't think that I would be bothered by that, I knew the lights were blue when I bought the eq but after I installed it it became very annoying to me. I have a Kenwood HU with full color adjustments so my HU matches my dash lights perfectly. It is very important to me that all the modifications I make look factory & professional & the blue lights are a deal breaker for me. I was going to return the eq but I'll keep it maybe I'll have use for it in the future. In the meantime I ordered an eq made by Soundstorm Labs and that unit can either be lit green or red.
You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a green back lit eq. I still would recommend this eq for anyone looking to improve their sound & spend very little cash to do it. I'll review the Soundstorm S4EQ when I install it & tweak it a little.

Great deal great sound
I own a 2005 suburban and replaced my factory radio with a planet audio head unit. It clipped whenever the bass dropped so I bought one of these babies. Made the biggest difference ever! Now the popping is gone and the sound is crystal clear.

GREAT VALUE
I couldn't find anything bad about this EQ. For the price it does everything a high end eq will do plus the built in clip detection is sweet.
