Clarion CC510

I got this for my 2009 Malibu with the Kenwood Excelon DNX6190HD and it works great, even in low light. I installed it myself along with the Clarion license plate frame and it took maybe 45 minutes to an hour. Now the biggest test is will it survive the Michigan weather

Let me start off by saying I originally purchased the VX-405. I had it for a month and I started to have issues with the iPod connection. So I talked to Sonic and decided to send it back and upgrade. Boy am I glad I did! This unit is leaps and bounds better than the VX-405. Everything is faster and smoother. I am not sure if I just had a defective unit or if Clarion put more time into this unit. BT works awesome, CD, IPod and radio functions as stated. The only 1 issue I have is the navigation. There is a blue dot that shows up on the screen that shows your exact location. This gets annoying bc you catch yourself watching that and not the map. If someone knows how to fix this please let me know. Other than that this is the best unit I have had in awhile. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a double din unit that has it all...

Good camera

Good camera for the price. I installed it on a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria LX and I like the way it gives somewhat of a factory look to the car.

Works well

I have it installed for about 3 months and find that it works very well.
The Navigation is accurate, however the speed limit posting is out of date.
I use a iPhone and the paring was simple and works well.
I am very pleased with the stereo and especially with the two usb ports.
The Sonic service was a big help during install.

The only problem so far is that you cannot get any upgrades on Mac computers.

Clarion nx405

This is my first time getting a clarion with all the features that it has.. I love it and sounds great.this product is what I wanted and I would recommend other people to this place.

You want bells and whistles well this is the item for you even for a new bee like myself easy to install nice looking unit , only thing would of been great if clock stayed on when u turned off radio

Installed it on a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria LX with a Boss Audio head unit and never had any problems with it.

Unfortunately, because of the reversing lights position on the car, it causes a glare and makes it hard to see at night. I will need to make a cover type thing to put around the camera
