Clifford alarm by default, not by choice.
For whatever reason, Clifford chooses to make just about everything opposite from the norm. 1 chirp:disarm, 2 chirps:armed, wiring, etc.
I bought my truck with the alarm installed, but needed a new remote. But if I had a choice, I would have bought something else.
Other than that, it's an okay alarm.

I purchased this as a spare valet switch. I have an older Clifford Intelliguard 9000. This is a "4G" system that was made back before Clifford was bought out by DEI and before their newer "5G" systems. This switch is compatible with both generations. The switch is used every time I start the car in order to enter the code which tells the alarm I'm authorized to drive (anti carjacking feature will kill the motor if not entered). It also allows full adjustment of the many alarm features without connecting to the Cliffnet wizard software. It gets a lot of use and I've gone through one replacement.
