Bang for your buck.

I have a similar crinch amp in a different car that I've had for almost four years. I didn't hesitate to buy this one when I was searching for amps.

Crunch PZX750

I wanted a sub in my truck because i wanted to hear the entire range of my music. The sound quality is great and its a great amp if you want a reasonable amount of bass. It powers my sub just fine and i am loving my new music

Solid amp for moderate power systems in smaller cars

I installed this in my 2013 MINI Cooper S convertible, to power a 10" dual voice coil subwoofer in the trunk, which supplements the factory Harmon Kardon System. If fit the bill for an amp that was (a) small enough to fit in a shallow well space under the passenger seat, (b) could put out enough power to drive a sub properly and (c) had configuration flexibility.

While Crunch states the PZX750.2 puts out 165 watts RMS into 4 ohms, my estimate is the actual figure is more likely around 130-135 watts, based on a 14 volt supply and the 30 amp fuse. That's adequate to effectively drive my Image Dynamics sub, which is rated for 250 watts. Conveniently, the amp has a stereo/mono switch that allows those using it for subs to collapse two channels into one, thus creating a mono signal which in my case can be sent into two separate channels, ideal for my dual voice coil application.

The amp offers the standard adjustments of high and low pass crossovers, bass boost (referred to on the amp as "bass EQ") and speaker level inputs. On the PZX750.2, that requires using an included proprietary connector that uses what IMHO are ridiculously thin wires to carry in the high speaker level signals.

The only other critique I have of the PZX750.2 is that it has screw terminals for the power inputs and speaker outputs, instead of the higher quality cast hex nut terminals one finds on more expensive amps. That forced me to go out and hunt for ring connectors that were large enough to handle 12 gauge speaker cable and 8 gauge power cable, while still being small enough to fit into the comparatively narrow slots the screw connectors in this amp are housed in. For reference, the ones I found that met those criteria are Autocraft Part # 85414.

Does the job

If your on a tight budget this will work. Dont really know what kind of power it puts out, but it does enough to push 2 tens. It does the job.

Works great 👍

I bought this amp to power a portable boom box I made out of a large suitcase, it's powered by two 12 volt 5 ah batteries wired to 12 volt and 10 ah, it's driving two 8 inch woofers and 2 tweeters wired to 4 ohms per channel, this amp pushes this setup VERY LOUD!, I couldn't be happier and the bass boost helps round out the bottom nicely, again it plays very loud and clean, it's easily worth the $$. I would buy again.

Crunch

This was my second one, the first one sounded so good my son stole it from me, so I had to replace it!! Can't beat the price and shipping was fast. This is one of my favorite stores.

Great price and good power

I bought 2 of these amps to power 4 12" P1's and it sounds good in both of my cars. I have 1 amp powering 12" and it beats. Good amp

Garbage

Not even worth the low cost.. The thing with these b.s manufactures who put all their cost into astetic design and stickers that come in the box is that they are not CEA2006 certified and even when they do list rms rather than the maxxxx with a thousand "cool" x's it's a lie.. Even bridged I could barely push a 100watt 8in sub. My Rockford fosgate 300watt from 10 years ago would murder this thing. Keep your money and don't buy flashy products that lie to you.. Crunch..boss...pyle(of crap)...they are all garbage... Save up a little more cash and buy a quality product.. You pay for what you get

More than I need

Bought this to replace an older amp that fell apart on me. Im running two 10" subs off of it. 750 watts is probably more power than i need, but at this price why not go big? I have had it installed for a couple weeks now and have been quite happy with it. It has more adjustments than my older amp so i am still trying to get it dialed in just right.
