Ds18 for the win
These subs are great! I wanted a pair of "budget" friendly subs to get my old suburban some bass. I was gonna get something cheaper but decided on these and I'm glad I did! Paired with nvx nda104 1500 watt amp. I built the ported box recommended in the owners manual 4 cubes at 31hz. These subs are great! If 1500 watts is enough for you then you'll love these too.

I have pioneer champion series 12s that don't seem to far off with output. I think I need 1krms subs and not 750rms subs. I have added agm under hood and small 2nd agm in trunk. The DS18 is very well built and would make a great entry level subwoofer however, I am more interested in mid level car audio so these would be great if not discontinued. I thought these were dual 2 ohm from the specs but they are dual 4. I wanted to buy 3 dual 2 ohm to get a 2ohm load to maximize output. Since they discontinued, I am choosing to return prior to break in. I am going to purchase 3 dual vc 2ohm 1k rms subs before i fall in love with another set that may become discontinued.
