Good features, good sound

Having spent some time with alpine products mainly their 350 watt mono amp I decided it was time for something new, alittle more thump in the trunk so to speak. After checking thru prices on sonic I soon realized that the 3 best prices i could find included an alpine 600 watt amp and a diamond audio, having had experienec with alpine and knowing some local guys that swear by diamond, I chose the D3 600.1, upon opening the package i was extremely impressed with visual styling, and the features it offers are second to none, once hooked up the sound it reproduces is very clear and accurate and this amp seems to never clip, pushing a Kicker L7 12" i continued to turn the gain up to try to find a point where the amp would clip and as of yet i havent been able to. Amazing amp at a great price from sonicelectronix. Oh one last thing this amp does NOT have a subsonic filter control, thats about the only thing i would add to it.

High-end quality at an afforable price.

I own the Diamond Audio D3600.1 and it pushes 2 JL Audio W3V2 12" 4ohm DVC subs. I operate this amp @ 1ohm and the clarity, as well as the output power is excellent. It does not overheat even after hours of pushing it. It has variable crossover settings, subbass freq. control(great if you run vented/ported enclosures), and phase settings. These amps are very efficient, and produce their rated power and then some. You will not find a more efficient mono amp on the market, that is quality built, in this price range. Definately an audiophile quality amplifier.
