update

I switched out my 1.25 sealed/polyfilled box per chamber box/ with a ported box which is actually only .9/polyfill per chamber and it slams a lot harder. It was a premade box but an expensive one. I wasn't thrilled bout it being smaller then the sealed and was worried it would make no impact to even make it worse but to my surprise the bass got way harder. A lil uglier on some songs where the sealed was more crisp. I may see if I can have a new one built to make it a lil bigger but if I go to big it completely blocks off my trunk and doesnt allow bass to get into the car,

Amazing subwoofer

This subwoofer its amazing. The lows it hits are superb, the excursion on it its crazy. Most people think I have 2 12s in the car and what I show them its only this 10" they can't believe it.

good subs

These subs are pretty beefy, and have some pretty heavy magnets. I got 2 of them at 99 each. running them to 2 PDX M6. so each one is seeing 600 watts. there in my 06 BMW 5 series. They hit very hard and its hard for me to tell if the vibrations on the car max it sound distorted or if its the subs themselves. If they can safely run 700 RMS all day then I don't see how 600rms amp can make them distort. I have the gains pretty much on max.

When I play bass music or rap with hard bass these guys dance hard. I think they might be right at there threshold as i think the sub is at max excursion. I don't think they can honestly handle 700 watts RMS all day long like they claim especially listening to bass oriented music. But there hitting good. I get scared that they might dance right outta the box. Problem with my car is BMW's don't allow bass to enter the car so i don't truly get there impact. I cut some of my rear deck out and it sounds a little better. Some songs with bass around 60hz will make my steering wheel shake like made but from what I can tell for 99 bux these hammer. If they blow out imma step up to xxx

serious bass homie

this goes hard! heck of a deal. Got just one of these in a dual ported box and its going hard sounds like a 15. this sub will require a pretty powerful amp.

WOW

I bought three of these and currently only have 2 running until i get a more powerful amp. Just the two with only 450 rms a piece want to shake my car apart. I cant wait until i get a bigger amp to run them at full power and adding the third will rip my car apart!!

bass monster

I got this sub for 99.99, just before they bumped the price. Awesome sub. Very power hungry.. For the price u cant beat it.

POWER hungry

First let me say that I jumped on this simply because it was 100 bucks shipped. I am powering it with the sub channel off of a Audison 5.1k. At 4 ohms and 12 volts it should be seeing about 650 RMS conservatively. I built a ported enclosure as well as a sealed enclosure to test the sub in both. It became apparent pretty quickly that this sub is extremely power hungry. That being said, with the right power I think this sub would be an absolute low-end monster. If you are considering this sub, make sure you can feed it at around 1500 real RMS watts. I think it would take that easily on a daily basis. I'm not sure where they came up with the 700 RMS figure, but it's not even close to what this sub needs. The TSP's indicate this as well.

beastly 10!

This subwoofer pounds hard! I only have one on a Hifonics ZXI 1010 amp and it slams hard! I needed a good 10 because i have a mustang convert and barely have any room so this sub is perfect. The sub is very heavy it weighs about 30 pounds and very well constructed. Overall this is very good sub! great price! very fast shipping!

Best Sub I ever Bought

I just purchased one of these bad boys and I am impressed. Its probably a really good idea to build your box to the specs in the manual. This sub is a beast, very heavy. Sounds terrific, and I have only run Xtant type X's all my life. These Eclipse subs make Xtant look really bad. Nice and deep with no distortion. Its getting maybe 500w now, would like to feed it the 700w and see what it can really do.

Can't rate the durability as I have barely had time to break it in before I realized I needed a larger enclosure

L7 Killer!

I Bought 1..... only 1 of these 10's and it was probably twice and loud as my friends L7 15". Not to mention the SPL is enough to stop my heart.
