NVX XKIT42

This is the perfect kit for anything around 1000 watts RMS. I have it hooked to a NVX JAD1200.1, and it is perfect. I literally have nothing bad to say about this kit. Every wire is true to gauge and it comes with plenty of wire, even 40ft of speaker wire! The RCA works great and the wires are strong and flexible. It'd be nice if it was a little cheaper, but it's definitely worth it. NVX makes some of the best, high quality wires and instillation equipment.

Not your average amp kit.

If you're picking up a bad*ss amp, why wouldn't you pick up a PROPER wiring kit ?!
I've previously used NVX Power/Ground wire for a BIG 3 Upgrade install, and was blown away by the Quality of the wire. High Strand, True To Spec, Super Flexible, Very Durable, and Conducts Very Well. Same can be said for the Speaker Wire and RCAs. I wish NVX made a kit with their higher end RCA cables, but the ones with this kit definitely get the job done. The fact that the Power/Ground come Crimped and Shrink Wrapped really save on install time, and the flex wrap on the Power Wire makes the install look Very professional. I ended up using the other goodies (ties and connectors) for various other things, but its pretty cool that it comes with the kit.

Best wiring overall

when i received this and opened it up i was amazed when i saw how a 4ga. wire could look so much like 0ga. and bend so easily. the speaker wire is so thick that you would not believe that it is speaker wire. the wires also make your music sound so much clearer than any other wiring can. all the components are the best in quality.

Great true 4 gauge wire kit. Both power/ground cables are flexible easy to work with, rca calbe is great. This kit comes with everything you need for an amp install. I will be using NVX amp kits for now on future installs.

At first, I was a little skeptical of NVX products, but I must say this kit feels very solid. The wire gauge is true to size and actually bigger when compared to my Stinger brand wire I've previously used. The wire is extremely flexible as well, making installation in tight places a breeze. You get everything needed to install a single amp in this kit. Don't let the name scare you away, give it a try!

Best Amplifier Kit

I take my chance when I ordered this kit. I almost spend over $100 on brand name kit. I'm glad I did bought this kit. Don't let this brand scared you. When I opened the package and saw the power cable, I know I made the right choice. The power cable is a true 4 gauge. The speaker cable ,you have enough to run both right and left from front door to the trunk and still have some left. RCA cable may look cheap but so far the signal from my head unit to the amplifier is excellent without any distortion. I love everything on this kit. Buy them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i purchased my amplifier they gave me a butt load off the purchase price of this wiring pack.
Pro's: good quality wire very flexible and easy to work with.
Con's: Needs more wire Connectors/Terminals with kit ( that are the right size) Ex: 4 gage wire doesn't usually fit into a 6 guage wire terminal/connector.

Wiring kit is really great! Delivers good power and isnt made with a cheap plastic isolation but with a nice flexible rubber isolation. Best wiring kit i had so far and i would buy it again if i sell my car because really....this wiring kit makes me one happy customer.

Bought this kit to run 1000 rms, some high grade power wire, very flexible, the terminations are perfect, came with lots of speaker wire... only bad thing I can say about this it the interconnect RCA cable came damaged... and the plugs on it feel really cheap, the insulation by one of the plugs was broken, just the outer jacket the inner insulation was fine, but it broke in an area where there would be high tension, right against the connector. all in all great kit for just the wires appears to be true to set and ofc, fuse holder was nice as well, just RCA was junk...

Comes with everything you need for most installs. Sheilding and core quality is head and shoulders above most top name brands and even cheaper in price.

Amp Install Kit

Not much to say about this. The wire is extremely flexible and its true 4 awg copper wire. The only thing I don't like is the speaker wire is hard to strip if your not using a knife. I got a good deal with a nvx bda750.1 with this wire. I highly recommend that amp if your on a budget.

I use to use Rockford amp install kits but went with NVX because I liked a few things better about the kit especially price. Easily the best Amp kit Ive ever used. Everything you could need to install an amp is included and the 4 gauge wire is the most flexible wire Ive seen. Very easy to install the kit because of how easy you can bend the wire. I’ll never buy another brand again.

Best RCA in a kit ever!

Most RCA cables in these kits are bottom of the barrel, cheap crap. I work with precision calibration equipment and measured the capacitance of the RCA and both channels with a 1693 RLC digi-bridge (traceable to NIST) and they came out to about 25-26 pF per foot! I bought the standalone X-series RCAs from NVX and these were also 25pF. I'm convinced NVX doesn't sell a single bad cable or accessory.

The kit came with numerous adapters for mounting the cables to power and ground sources and even some quick disconnects. Highly recommend this kit!

Nice, but......................

First of all let me say that I do like this amp, from the features to the illumination, to the overall capacity of the amp. This amp is currently running two NVX VCW124's at a steady 1 ohm load. I have the subs in a ported box tuned for 38hz with 2.25cu-ft per chamber, so I am pushing 550W RMS to each speaker, and it sounds amazing.............that is........until.....the amp overheats. I have lined my trunk with dynamat to help with sound quality, spl and temperature also. Now I am not trying to dog this amp one bit, but overheating?!?! Really? So to help with this method i have modified the amp slightly with two fans that I attached to the back side of the amp (keep in mind my amp is sitting on a slant with nothing behind it). So far so good. I ran those fans on one individual ground separated from my car audio, and connected those fans with an ignition power wire so the current is not drawn from the remote wire running from my Clarion head unit, keeping the mAmp usage low so the circuit on the deck doesn't burn up. So far to the date after the mod no overheating after only 20 minutes of play time. So at this current time I like the amp but it does have some set backs.

First off, I thought I was getting the previous model type r which was like over 50$ diff but they upgraded me to the newest model without telling me (which is awesome).

BRX 1116.1D

This Hifonics amp has the excellent appearance of all the Brutus amplifiers. It is rounder than its predecessor "BRX 1100.1D". One thing I noticed is that the newer "BRX 1116.1D" only has 1 60A fuse where as the predecessor is equipped with 2 60A fuses. It may be just me but that gives me the feeling that the predecessor is more powerful. I also prefer the more square look of the previous model.

Awesome Sub!

I am running this sub on a 500 watt JBL amp at 2 ohm and it is bumping. I've only had it for a month but so far it works. I previously owned at JL Audio W3v3 and this thing is way louder and has very similar sound quality for a cheaper price. With just one sub is enough for me and I'm not even pushing the sub to it's max. My car windows aren't rattling but the bass is enough to still turn heads when really pushing it. Really enjoy this subwoofer and I would definitely buy another one.

Great Amplifier For a Good Price.

I was recommended this amplifier by one of the Sonic staff (I forgot his name). I have to say that this amplifier is great so far, no issue or anything. It sounds great with the Hifonics subwoofers. BASS! How Low Can It Go?

These sub is hands down the best one out the collections of subs I have. The overall design and build of the sub is amazing. I really appreciate how Alpine had the terminals on one side and can easily be bridged with a less than 6” inches of wire. I currently have them in a sealed enclosure that is a little too big but sounds so nice. The bass sounds tight and hits hard. I may switch to a vented box to hear and feel the difference.
This sub will not disappoint and is money well spent. I also highly recommend getting the grille to protect the sub.

I've never used Hifonics before so I had to go off of other reviews and I'm glad I did. Great features and quality. Looks good too. Lots of power to drive my two 12s cleanly. Now we'll see how long it's lives. I would buy their products again for sure.

Best 1100-watt at 1 ohm single channel Amp on the market

So i bought this to power a 15" Soudqubed HDS3115 which is rated at 1200w RMS @ 1 ohm. This subwoofer really was the best deal for power ratio I could find that also was A. Reliable and B. Had plenty of ratings and guys with legit systems behind it to back it up. It's been 3 weeks or so since I got it all installed and boy does this system slap. The amp is an absolute machine, gladly will run for hours non-stop. It's not pushing the sub past it's limits, so the bass knob will spend some time maxed out when I'm in the mood and it just loves it. I pulled over after an hour long drive to class and had been bumping the whole way, put my hand to the amp and it was barely warm, I mean not hot at all. So I'm impressed, so far it's been no complaints at all. Hifonics hit it right with this badboy, for anyone needing around 1000w to 1200w for their sub, and are looking to keep it budget, but still get a good product, this amp is the real deal.

Ohm's Law says this amp is a lie

The amplifier has a 60A fuse in the side of it. Ohm's Law says voltage x current = Power. So the best possible voltage you'll see in a car is 14.4V x the maximum possible current of 60A = 864 Watts......THAT'S IF the amplifier was 100% efficient, which is impossible. Realistically, we're right around 700W on this Class D design. While 700W for this price is nothing to sneeze at, just know what you're buying.

Purchased the amp hoping to get the true 1100 RMS at 1 Ohm, using the proper 4 gauge wire recommended and 10 gauge speaker wire i had to crank the settings all the way to get anywhere near loud. I would not recommend getting this if you are intending on using it for anything below 4 ohms.

Huge fan of NVX, the quality of the kit at the price point is very reasonable and overall the install went pretty well, AND it looks great!! However, the heat shrink sleeves have almost no hold, even after using my torch the sleeves kept sliding off of the ends of the sheathing, I ended up using my own heat shrink tubing in some places.

I have mine pushing an Incriminator Audio Death Penalty 15." The sub was also sent to PSI and upgraded with a 2500 rms rebuild. I have gain set at about 65% and I have the bass knob by the steering wheel. This amp rocks my 65lb sub and has never gotten hot or went into protect mode. Bright blue neons and sharp edges on clean cut aluminum. This amp is 5/5 in almost all categories. The 4g max wire inputs are compression style with an allen screw which is not the easiest of types to make a secure connection.
