light amp small compact amp very powerful tho ...
works great no hick ups hooked it up to a single 12 fosgate p3 it KNOCKS easy to install and use recommend definitely for the price and power it pushes out ... make sure you know about your ohms tho this amp is not 8 ohm stable at 1200 watts it is at 2 ohms i believe hope this helps anyone.

Hifonics ZRX1200.1D

I ordered this amp, fast shipping. I hooked it up to 2 Hifonics BRZ15D4 @ 1 ohm. About a day later the amp blow out. I don't know why, everything is hooked up fine ground is solid, and no this is not my first install. I have always liked Hifonics but i dont know what happen to this one. The amp itself looks clean. Maybe i just got a blank.

Good amp

For the average person: This amp is great. It hits hard enough for beginners.
For bass heads- Pass. Its not hard enough. Although, i haven't tried to bridge it yet.
Pro: its cheap. Con: it cuts out after a while of use. You have to turn the stereo off to get it to cut back on again.

Works Great!

This amp for the price is a Steel! It's even got the Blue LED lights in HIFONICS logo to make it even cooler, the crossover works well and overall the power rating is true 1200RMS watts

This little amp has some serious power had it hooked up too 2 hfx 12's in a sealed box and they hit real good!

hifonics 1200.1D

this amp is well built for what it does. I didn't clamp this amp but im more then sure it does what it says.
the fact this is most bang for the dollar as well is nice. not 2 cheap but not 2 over price were your killing the bank on it. if your looking for a great bang to this amp I would order this right up. you give it the right power and it will do its job right. make sure to have more then stock battery and alt when using this amp need at the most 100 ah battery worth to play with this at a good rate if your alt is stock. then you will see the power it will push out :). take into thought anything more then 500 rms you will need to place an extra battery to help out any ways so get a agm gel of some sort of deep cell to play with what you want. over all this is a great amp to buy. thanks sonic electronix for selling this at an affordable cost.

I hooked mine up and it worked but about two weeks later it blew. smoked out my truck! the fuse didn't blow like it should have. It came with a 80 amp fuse and that's what I left in it. Mine was just defective I guess.

I would gladly recommend Hifonics amps and other products to anyone, its a very great amp that I got that does the power that it states when given 14volts of course. The bass knob is very sleek looking easy to mount....good large ports to accept up to 0 gauge even would probably fit in the ground and power ports, best to use 10-14 gauge wire for your subs in the ports as well, overall very satisfied with Hifonics Zeus 1200.1D amp

Perfect amp for nvx vs124

Back again with another review got the hifonics zrx1200.1d to go with my nvx vs124 sub and it matches perfectly at 2ohms the amp does 600 rms with the sub takes 400-600 rms all can say is the sq is amazing with these two together I love hifonics amp although this my first ever zues amp always had the Brutus amps. Get the zrx1200.1d and a nvx vsw124 sub ported box an get ready to be impressed

I ordered this amplifier because it is 1 Ohm stable, for the subwoofer I bought. I received this amp today and immediately put it into my car and was right away very impressed with its quality and sound quality. I will HIGHLY recommend this to my friends.

Love It, (knock on Wood)

Bought 2 Mobile Spec Pro Ice 600W 12'' woofers, about 5 years ago. Told they were competion subs. I was depressed. Had them hooked up to an exterminator 1000D. This Hifonics Amp makes them hit 10x harder. UNreal bass. Need to update my ALT because my lights dim reallllly bad just on 8 on my Kenwood.

Good amp

Ive been running this amp on 2 ohms for a month now and have had no problems. I like the remote gain, sub-sonic filter and the back-lit logo on it. Even if this amp only puts out half of the advertised rms it would still be a great bang for the buck. I would love to see this model on an amp dyno. I was able to find an online video of a dyno test for one of the Hi-Fonics Brutus models, and it came in within a couple of watts of the advertised power which is awesome. Hopefully this model does the same.

Good quality, alright sound

I got this amp for a friend because he wanted a budget system and didnt want to spend alot of money. When it arrived i liked how it looked and how the logo lights up was really cool, we installed it with some JBL subs that are rated 700 rms and we hooked it at 4 ohms since it said around 500 hundred but it sounded no where near that so we wired it down to one ohm for the 1200 watts it claims and they still didnt pound like i thought 1200 hundred watts should sound like plus it wasnt very efficient because it made his headlights dim all crazy even when the subs werent hitting strong. We got two Rockford subs rated 500 rms for the pair and wired it at 2 ohms and it pounded pretty hard and you could hear him from far away but the low notes did not sound low they sounded an octave higher or something and i know its this amp because i hooked it to my amp to test the speakers. Overall its an alright amp compared to crappy pawnshop brand stuff but i would say it was only doing alittle over half its rated power and had a lot of draw on the charging system, i would reccomend a pioneer or prime series 500 over this amp, you get what you pay for.

Excellent value and performance

I installed this amp to a pair of JBL-GTR5-10's in my son's Explorer. Plenty of power to push them and provide the punch he was looking for as well as sound quality. I have been installing systems in my personal vehicles since the late 80's and have owned a variety of amps, Phoenix Gold, Precision Power, Rockford Fosgate, MTX, Audiobahn and Memphis with similar setups. Multiple speakers on a (or 2) 4 channel amp and a dedicated sub amp by the previous mfgs on dual 12's or 10's, this amp performs as well for a third of the cost of the amps I owned. I would definitely purchase a Hifonics product again.

Low Cost! Low Bass!!!

I picked this up because I'd heard the Hifonics were great old school amps. I didn't know what to think about the Low hundred dollar cost of this amp. In the past Ive paid $350-$400 for a high-powered amp, not professional mind you, but good quality, brand name.
I've got it ran with 4ga. wire hooked to 1.0 Farad Stinger. Stock Alt, stock battery. NVX 12" ran to one ohm. Amp and speaker are both 1200 Watt RMS rated.
It sounds great! It hits loud and hard! Low Bass Notes Vibrate everything inside my car and I cannot hear any negative vibrations or rattles because my ford focus has factory road noise matting behind panels in doors and along the floor. Not sure about ceiling but I doubt it there.
I recommend this amp to those on super tight budget! It is worth the $100+

Amp Review

My review about this amp will be short, but this amp is great. It packs a lot of power and seems to really push out the rated RMS wattage. The size of the amp is great, too. It's not too big and it's not very heavy. I'd recommend this amp if you're looking for a good quality amp that's the bang for the buck. I haven't really seen if the amp gets hot or not, but from what I've read, the amp does a pretty good job at keeping cool and gets warm, but not hot. Then again, I haven't seen it for myself.

The Zeus 1200w amp brings the power to your subwoofers to life. Im running 2x 12" comp s Kickers with the new amp installed I've had complaints about my truck being too loud with the volume set at 14. Plus with this amp I love the fact that anyone can hook up another amp to it for more power. Also this amp has a removable 70w fuse and overpowering protection so you won't blow out your speakers

i wanted an amp that will make my 10" shallow mount JL audio subs i purchased for my Ford F450 reach their highest peak safely and of coarse good quality. I choose this amp to do just that, and again Hyfonics didnt disappoint. Trucks- a -rockin, and subs-a-knockin. .

Great amp at a great price. Works perfect for my new sundown sub, couldn't be more pleased.

great value

Bought this amp for a budget system and surprisingly it performed real well. I have it hooked up to two infinity reference 12" subs wired down to one ohm. The amp doesn't heat up at all and it pushes the subs awesome, the only down fall is that i did have to crank up the gain a significant amount to really get the subs moving but that could be due to the headunits output voltage. All in all the amp worked great and for the price was a steall of a deal considering that i got the amp kit to go with it for like $10 as a combo deal.

Best Amp

This is the fourth amp I've used on my Rockford Fosgate T1 and the best one so far. The other amps all new were rated at higher wattage but weren't as good. This one makes my sub sound alot better, rattles my SUV.

Happy as a clam

I like this amp. plenty of power, easy to install. The boost remote is nice. Only had it running now for about two weeks so i can't comment on longevity but so far so good, it is solidly built. Running a 10 inch sub at 4 ohms and it bumps. really added that last little bit to make my music sound FULL. At around $100, can't beat it.
