Great SQ Amp
Just got this amp installed. performs great Paired with My IDMAX 12" D2 @ 1 OHM. I usually have Two Subs In the Trunk but decided to run just one with a sealed box. Without a doubt this set up is more powerful than my last. This amp gets really hot because it has only two heat fins. Can not run this amp with my seats up. the wiring is 100% NVX OFC 4G wire with tight connections and a 1F Capacitor. Durability rated at 3 stars due to this overheating issue maybe would be two stars if this amp fails on me soon. I love the Power and Grace idea that Image dynamics stands by but the thermal design is killing this amp. I don't know if I would buy this amp again. I'll try setting up a forced cooling solution for the time being.

Excellent amp
This amp rocks paired with the IDQ12 it is driving. This amp has some power and I only have it turned up only halfway. Once I get around to fully tuning the system and crank it, my neighbors will probably hate me. I'm very satisfied with the quality and performance of this, now just need to add more matting to my car to kill some resonance.

These subs hit the lows I've been looking for
I have a Honda Ridgeline pickup and built my own seals box to fit under the back seat I built it as large as I could and the subs are facing up with about an inch to spare. I've tried pioneer champs, kicker cvt, fosgate p2, all hit hard but didn't hit the bottom notes the way I had hoped. I know airspace was a problem at only .8 cf per 12" sub but I guess I was optomistic and hoped for the best. After I blew the pioneers, I decided to try out the Idq's after some research. These things perform twice as well as the past woofers and sound amazing at all volume levels. They get low too. I know they would even be better in a larger box. i upgraded my amp to old school mmats pushing 1400rms at 2 ohms. I've been looking for a larger alternator to keep up with the dimming lights. It's been over a year of pounding and no trouble yet. Sonic was great as they always are.

Awesome Subwoofer
Great for those seeking the Sound Quality of a subwoofer with clean tight response. Not for Bass Heads. Sound quality is superb...

Great Buy
I haven't installed these yet, I'm building a custom amp rack and sub box in my Ram 1500 so they still sit in the other room, but the price I got on these subs for was unmatched anywhere else and I think they came straight from Image Dynamics. This has been one of many orders I have made with Sonic and I've been satisfied every time.

ID Q600.1
Paid 150 for this bad boy. Had for 4 months strong before I decided to send a 5 hz sine wave throw it and blew it. None of the fuses even went. Worked well with the sundown E12. It wasn't very punchy though... I don't have good electrical and I'm not exactly sure if that was the problem but it seemed to excel in constant notes. It would get very hot as well, which may be the dirty power's fault. Definitely did rated though. Being class AB it was very inefficient. I keep voltage just as well with my current MB Quart onx1600.1D at near full power. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're going for a system with good brand names. Can do much better at the same price and opposed to popular consensus I think my class d sounds better, but it has a lot more leeway too. It looks very classy and high quality though. Indifferent

FINALLY a sub that can handle EDM!
This thing POUNDS. I had tried two different brands and models of subs before the IDQ12. I listen to various forms of electronic music coupled with some hip hop and heavy metal. Hip hop and heavy metal always worked on the others but on EDM plays both subs would clip when the notes were either too deep or the bass note too long. The IDQ took all that away. Not only is thing LOUD but it's sharp! It can hit the deepest notes without skipping a beat. This sub has convinced me that Image Dynamics is the best value for the money if you're going for SQ.

Tight, Clean
I went from a Infinity 120.9w which is also a SQ sub to the IDQ12. It's super tight and clean. Probably the tightest sub I've owned and I've had quite a few. Also, it hits the lows pretty well. The price is a bit expensive but it's worth it and made in the U.S.A. so you get what you pay for. It's a heavy sub with a substantial magnet. Cost me about a hundred more than my Infinity Kappa, but I'd buy again, it's worth it, I'm happy. Never had a sub where I could hear the notes so clearly. It's a fast, hard-hitting sub with no flatulence in a sealed 1 cu ft box. One thing I would say is that it is definitely a sound quality sub, so if you're looking for SPL, maybe not for you, but if you like clarity, get it!

Great Sub
Running a 850 Zapco amp and this sub is flawless. Can hit those low frequencies well and cranks out a ton of power with ease. Great sub especially for the money. I would've never guessed the results I got from this sub. Beyond impressed!
