So I did a review a few weeks ago when I first installed these id 12's in to replace my old kicker comp c's.The id's are broken in now so I am doing part two of my review. They are clean as advertised and get deep and hit hard. I used to have to have the bass boost turned up on my head unit when I had my comp c's now i have my bass boost turned off and still get better bass with the id's and I mentioned this in my last review,sonic got everything to me in two days. Great product,great service.

I had been wanting to try out ID drivers for years. First read about them at Elite Car Audio and never read anything bad.
Now that my daughter is driving it was her turn for a beat. So the deal was to good to pass. Free cabinet.... Which is solid and clean and sounds super fat.
The control and SQ of this driver is amazing. I dig SPL but being a musician i need to hear the music clean AND loud. This freaking sub does it all.The first thing Every person my daughter has demoed her car to says is " Wow this is so clean."
Then it starts to play low and loud and their eyes light up. I have 3 people interested in installs now! All of them wanting ID drivers!
I am sorts old school. I like the warmth of paper cones. I have used many poly cones since 1986. Never loved any of them for their sound.
This driver will be the only one I can truly say is warm and musical.

CLEAN SMOOTH

Truly a blessing to my ears this is clean smooth warm and a pleasure to use very little output as expected with such a small power rating im going to transfer this into my house for home audio its incredibly clean buy this now
