FREE box...

Box is well built, its hard to mess up building a small sealed box.. The only problem was sub opening wasn't large enough for my sub, 5 minutes with a jigsaw and vacumn took care of that though..

Decent Small Box

For the money it is a pretty good product. The carpet is a nice black. Very dark and very clean. The box is solid and can take a beating. The terminal cup is nice as its a binding post and not those crappy pressure tabs. Good box, decent sealing, good carpet.

well built for price

i have a dvc pioneer 10" sub that fits perfectly in this box and sounds great. looks good in trunk and still gives me room to put stuff in it

Nice enclosure

Not much can really be said about a sub enclosure, other than it does its job well. My Rockford Fosgate P1S2-10 fit in snuggly. The only thing that was a tad iffy was that when drilling once the bit went through it would catch of the inside insulation and mess it up, but quite honestly it didn't really bother me at all. Good enclosure.

Just wow

I was skeptical. Not anymore. I just sold my Kicker L7S (single). I was running it 1200 watts in a 6ft box. I wanted to downgrade. So i bought 2 of these. Let me tell you. I am running about 900 watts at 4ohms to these and i cant believe how good it sounds. Muche cleaner and i feel it hit on my chest harder than the 15! Unreal! I dont do reviews but this one deserves one. If i sell these i will only upgrade to NVX. I am truely sold. Great bass, super price i cant believe it. Oh, im running it with Down4sound JP13 at 4ohms. Super clean sound thank yiu NVX

Quality at a great price

I got this box for an Earthquake dbxi10 and thankfully the sub fit right in despite me thinking the measurements for the cutout were a bit off. The little bit of polyfill lining is a nice touch. The box felt secure and solid with a good bit of weight for the quality of wood. It definitely didn't feel like a cheap particle board box. The carpeting was on snug and looked good as well. Great pre-fab box for your sub. I expect it to last but can't say for sure as I just got it in recently.

Great SQ box

This box plus a Phoenix Gold RSDC102 subwoofer makes the ultimate sound quality sub setup at any price level. Phoenix Gold really outdid themselves with the RSDC subs and this box is the PERFECT compliment to their awesomeness. It's VERY well built and looks pretty good too.

As a plus, it was physically smaller than I expected, allowing me to place it in several different areas of my hatch to experiment where the best quality sound is.

The kit would work great in a car but in a boat the kit needs to have alot more speaker wire and a longer ground wire

Huge sound small price

So these VSW 10s are amazing for the price in sealed or ported enclosures. They have a rich full sound with a nice low end that you can feel. Definitely surpassed the JL w3v3 in sound and price. And I feel this sub is at par with the JL w6v3 for literally a fraction of the price. You can buy 5 of these and have money left over for a steak dinner for what wht one JL would cost. Don't get me wrong the JLs are a great sounding woofer but for $500 I will def buy this over JL and MANY other brands. The JLs fade out at low lows as these ride that low wave like a boss haha. Of course thats with the correct boxes, tuning, amps, etc. Your not guna get this sound if you throw um in a crappy pre fab with a 1000 watt boss amp a clip it to death (as some people do not even knowing it). If your not too familiar with car audio I would def recommend a professional. If you can't get a box made or cant afford it. try ground shaker they make decent boxes and aren't tuned high like a lot of other pre fabs. Also the reason I pick JL as the contender is because they are honestly close in spec but the price is day and night their power range is similar NVX has 2.5" coil JL doesnt say. both do great in small space, both FS is about the same NVX is 30 and JL is 31 n change. Also NVX response goes to 20hz as JL is 25hz. And just can't see spending 5bills on one sub when I can get TWO VSWs, a matching amp, wire kit and box. Def a 5 star sub.

No need to spend more on boxes ... when you get best for so cheap :-)

Replacement for aging Rockford -Fosgate

Installed two of these along with NVX VAD8402 amp (840w RMS) to replace 20 year old failing R-F Punch speakers and R-F 200w amp in daughter's car. Also replaced power wiring with Belva 4 ga. kit w/1mfd cap.She had never heard of NVX and was hesitant, but I have been using NVX for over three yrs. now and have yet to be disappointed. Wired dual VCs in each of these subs in parallel for 2ohms per channel, matching amp output. Box is about 1.1cu. ft. per speaker, & ported. After tuning to suit her tastes in music she is now convinced, all for under $500.

Gets the Job Done For A LOW Price!!!!

I purchased this box for my R2D4-10 because it was a perfect match at .77cuft. The box is very well made and is priced at an excellent price. Shipping alone is probably $15.00 so the Free Shipping was a BIG plus for me. I doubt you could build it yourself any cheaper! The Box sounds great and puts off excellent sound quality. I highly recomend this box if your tight on space, on a budget or just looking for a great sealed enclosure at a great price. Get It While Its Hot!!!

Great for $20 but....

So I have to say that for $20 this is a pretty decent box. The sealing could really use work though. Mine came with one of the rear corners with no sealing whatsoever, the four edges of the baffle board (where the speaker mounts) had no sealing whatsoever, and there is no sealing done on the terminal cup either. Although if you want perfection why are you buying a $20 box?

Too small for my sub

Irs a fine box and made of good quality. The only problem I had with it was that it didn't have enough air space, even though it was right for my sub (it feels under powered in this box). It may work better with a sub that needs shallow air space.

I mainly do a single sub with a big amp. I tried a ported box but was not getting the sound i was looking for. This box had a little more volume than my last box. I'll be using this box for a long time.

Great Cabinet for the Price

This cabinet is exactly what I was looking for. Sealed up tight, very sturdy, and inexpensive. You can definitely spend more money on an enclosure, but if this fits your application, you'll be pleased.

Nice Box at a great price!

Got this box because the size was the closest sealed box I could get for my sub (Polk DXI svc 10") I liked the fact that the carpet would match the trunk carpet and that the box is lined with poly on the inside. Box Is built very well. Nice and sturdy and the carpet on it is done well. Got it installed and it sounds great. No leaks or rattles and the sound is nice and clean.

Great Little Box

I have a JL Audio 10W6v3 mounted in this box and it plays loud and deep with very accurate sound for a small sealed box. The box is built very well with quality black carpet that looks great with the sub mounted in it and takes up very little room.

A good box only issue I had with it is the fact you have to add wire to it yourself and all the other boxes I have had you didn't need to plus the carpet was messed up a bit from shipping. Definitely suggest for the price and everything else though

Great box for the price

Box is built damn well for the price. Only complaint was some sealant was missing in some spots, especially in the corners. Not a big deal though, I just bought some silicone sealant and filled in the missing gaps.

Solid Enclosure

Never heard of this company Belva before so I took a chance due to panel thickness & price. The box is surprisingly built well and includes a thin but effective layer of poly-fil which is nice for some subs. Carpet is a nice dark charcoal color and is neatly attached. No visible seams. Using this for a Prime 10" was perfect in volume & cutout .

The only thing I would have liked to seen was wiring included within the box and the terminal sealed which is was not. I took the terminal out to solder the appropriate wire and upon reattaching it, I applied a thin layer of closed cell foam as a gasket o insure there were no leaks. I also sat the subwoofer in place and trimmed the carpet from around it so that a mounting gasket could be applied & effective. Holes were pre-drilled for the sub, then the sub finally connected. No rattles, and sealed up good. This turned out to be a great box in the end and would recommend it to anyone that is in need.

Good sub box

My sub recommends .75 sealed cubic feet of space. I left the padding in the box, but maybe should have taken it out since adding the additional padding makes a small box sound bigger. For my use, I prefer a tighter bass rather than volume or low frequency. That said, I have not removed the sub to take the padding out, its not that much different than the setup I had before with the same sub and same size box without padding. Carpet was nice, very professionally built box. No issues installing a 10" kappa 100.9w sub (no trimming or anything needed).

TL;DR -- Well built solid box, would recommend to others, will purchase again when need arises.

Great deal for the money!

I actually found this box on the Sonic Electronix ebay page and was seeking an inexpensive box for an infinity kappa perfect 10" for my Acura. The air space is a bit more than the sub called for but it is very well made for the money indeed. The Kappa performs very well in it I'm pushing it with a JL Audio HD750/1 which is too much amp for the sub but gives a very clean sound. I really have no cons for the box. It is a great value, is sealed well, has a nice pre installed terminal connection and has nice carpet not the fluffy fuzzy stuff you see on a lot of cheap boxes. If i have to give one con to it I would say the front could be reinforced where the sub screws in but unless you are using like a W7 with ridiculous power this box will serve you fine.

don't let the low price fool you - this is an awesome sub!

picked one of these up because I am limited to only 350 watts RMS and this sub impressed the heck outta me! I entered the TS parameters in an enclosure modeling app (speaker box lite) and built a box similar to the specs the app suggested for maximum flat output and this inexpensive sub hits lows I didn't expect. I played a test sweep from 10hz to 100hz and it handled the whole sweep like a champ! it's not even broken in yet either! my enclosure is 1.62 cuft tuned to 25hz. my f3 is 22hz and my f10 is 18hz. since I am going for SQ, I am only around 115-120db, but that is loud enough for me. definitely recommend this sub, or any NVX for that matter - my buddy has a vcw104 and it is equally impressive (can handle more power tho) - and with their prices you can't go wrong!

Glued together well and insulated correctly, our mb quart 10 with dual voicecoil sounds clean and has amazing bass for it's size. We modified input port for dual voicecoil, drilled holes in plastic to accommodate multiple wires, then caulked around.

Decent box

This is a decent cheap box, says sealed and it was, all except the speaker side of the box, I sealed that my self and then mounted my FLI Audio FL450S-F2 amp to the top of the box. After amp was mounted in went my JL Audio 10W0v3-4 this is a great combo, I set this in my jeep rear facing in the corner and the bass really hits hard. I would reccomend this box.

Great box!

I bought this box because it was bundled with a Legacy LWF10X and got a fairly good discount from Sonic. I was building a cheap set-up so I chose this. I tested this with my existing amp (BOSS AR1500M) installed in my SUV and it sounded really great. It handled tight bass notes and some very low frequencies. It is now installed in the trunk of my wife's 2008 Honda Civic and is run by a used Jensen amp that I think pumps 150W RMS or less that my friend gave me. Now it rattles every panel of the car especially the rear deck so I need to put some foam underneath it to reduce the rattling. The size of the box is just perfect in the trunk and the overall build is really nice and solid.

I got this kit for 50% off with my NVX amp. The power wires are very nice, the 6channel RCA cable is fantastic and the speaker wire is great quality too. The assortment of connectors they give you didn't really help. I ended up purchasing my own nicer ones.

Awesome Amp Kit

This kit was free with an amp purchase. I definitely like it, but I used 9 conductor speedwire for remote wire and 4 speakers. Worked out very well overall, great quality.

Very complete! High Quality

What a great kit. Far exceeded expectations. Nice touches like, mesh loom for the engine compartment on the 4GA power cable, heat shrinked where the you cut to install the fuse. Speaker wire is heavy gauge. The power and ground are come with the end connectors installed. My only complaint is there are no instructions so I had to reconfigure the fuse to add the rubber connectors. At least I assume thats where they go as it didnt have waterproof bushings.

Great kit

I was impressed with this kit. Their claim of a "true gauge" wire seems to be true because wires are thicker compared to other wires I have used claiming to be the same gauge. Overall the wires seem to be of great quality. Patch cables are good. They aren't super high end, but they do the job well. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an amp kit.

This is a very well built box for the price. The wood is nice and thick (that's what she said!). My 10" Kicker sub sound pretty punchy in this box. The only con I have is that it could use a bit more cubic feet of air. This box is pretty much 1 foot square. A couple more inches in each direction would have yielded around 1 cubic foot of volume which probably would be been more within the sweet spot in what the speaker likes.

It's a small box that met the size requirements of my sub. The walls are pretty thick and comes pre stuffed with sound deadning material. The my only gripe is that the terminals on the back are not removable so you will be soldering inside that small box. I'd definetly buy again.

Phenomenal box for the money

Good box, not great to install

No complaints as far as the box installed. It does it's job. Installing is odd because there is insulation over the connectors inside the box. You'll have to peel away the insulation and wire it, then get it back in place. Or cut a spot out for the wiring if you'd like

I bought this enclosure for a RF P3D4, this box is a perfect match. The enclosure is well built and very sturdy. Only negative thing I can say, is the polyfil covers the entire interior of the box. You have to cut out the polyfil covering the speaker terminals.

Yeah, these don't sound good at all. Comparing them to JL W3's is laughable. Bought two and they literally started to fall apart after about an hour of playtime. Amp was not clipping, gain set with an o-scope, and powered slightly under their rated RMS. Pass on these and get something better. Don't be a sucker like me thinking you'll get something worth more than you paid for.

I bought this for my lady friend as she wanted a little more bass. Yes, she is awesome! I do a lot of sub-box building. I have a little addiction. I have a couple of NVX amps that I like so thought I would try a sub. This thing gets down! I built a 1.1cf tuned to 34 Hz. This thing gets loud and plays that deep bass that I like. I have a sundown sd 10v2 which sucks. This thing plays the deep notes like my 12w7, just not as powerful but for $90, wow is all I can say. I think it sounds better than my Polk MM as well. A little worried about longevity due to the coil material but time will tell. I am going to buy one for my collection. Maybe I will try the 12???

I've originally bought 2 these in January 2021. I figured at this price point they were worth trying. I immediately threw them in a sealed box and sent 1k at them. After a week (break in) I sent 1400 watts to them and kept it there for basically 22 months with no issues. The sound quality is good in a sealed box, the response is great, the bass is impressive with their size. I now have them in my girlfriends car on a different amp. Around 800 watts (she doesn't like a whole lot of bass) and they are still kicking with 0 issues. They do well with rock and rap. Obviously being 10s they aren't hitting super low but I was still impressed with where they could go. If you're looking for some bass on a budget and have a small space, these are a great choice.

Bought this sub because of the reviews and because I needed a 500 watt RMS subwoofer. I have it in a ported box and hooked up to an Alpine MRP-M500
Mono subwoofer amplifier (500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms). This sub absolutely pounds and I have gotten many stares and compliments from people. People cannot believe that I only have 1 10inch sub in the back when I tell them. NVX XKIT46 (5- or 6-Channel Amp Kit)

The wiring kit contained exactly what I needed and even a few spare parts/connectors. The power wire had an abrasion resistant sheathing over the section that is under the hood and the ground and power wires included precrimped ring connectors that work and look great. You can't beat the quality and convenience for the price.

NVX install kits are some of the nicer ones I have used. This on in-particular works great with their 5 channel amp. Absolute Best Quality

This NVX kit comes with everything and just because it comes with everything doesn't mean that quality has to be sacrificed. The quality of this kit is absolutely amazing and the fuse holder is so perfect that I ordered another one for my big 7 uograde. I got this for free with my amp purchase and I didn't even bother looking at another kit just in case because of what I read in the reviews. I'm halfway through installing my system now and I can tell you they give you more wire than you need. Will buy NVX products whenever I can.

Disappointed

I tried a pair in a 1.4 cuft custom made sealed box for under my back seat 2022 Silverado. Really didn’t meet my expectations. Bass was punchy but distorted bad at higher volumes and the low bass seemed to just disappear. My amp was an NVX 750 watt rms so power was right and I’m also using the NVX XLCA2X so I had options to make adjustments but no amount of tuning got it where I wanted. Checked box for leaks and it was sealed nicely. I have no doubt these will perform great in a ported box but if you’re going for sealed I’d look for something else. Full disclaimer I have a single 12” version of this sub in a ported box under the seat now using the same amp and LOC and it’s fantastic.

I was skeptical when I ordered my amp and saw that this kit was included. I assumed that it was going to be a bunch of cheap cables and wires, but boy was I wrong. The power cables are extremely nice quality, they rival some of the best name brand cables I've used. The speaker wire is also VERY nice and the fuse block is legit, heavy duty equipment. The RCA's are a little strange looking and are probably the only cheap looking/feeling part of the whole kit, but even they are more than usable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these kits for my next install.

I ordered this NvX 10Inch because I've heard good things about them and the price you cant beat. Wanted try something different so went with this one and its the only thing missing from my system upgrade. So I ordered the sub box combo only to find out after the transaction was done that the box was out of stock then the sub shows up... It must have been dropped or something before it was shipped because the box had no marks or gashes in it and one side is bent down so it wont seat right to the box I found somewhere else. It sux but I can probably fix it so it seats good. Other than that crap, sub looks amazing and should bang pretty well. We'll see.
