For the money what a great amp. Clean loud powerful and its sooo beautiful and sharp looking. People go nuts on how nice it looks and sounds in my car. JBL is great stuff. Mybe not top top of line but they really make some great car audio. You wont be dissapointed!

Awesome!

IT not only looks good but def delivers!! This is my first AMP I ever used for my internal 4 speakers and when my buddy told me how big of a difference it would make compared to running the speakers off the headunit, I could not believe it! Good STUFF!!! Only thing about it is that it was just a HAIR too long for where I was mounting it but I was able to improvise.

This is a huge amp. Over a foot long so be aware if space is an issue for you. If it's not then get this amp. For the money it won't be beat. JBL makes very high end audio equipment and this amp is nothing short of high end. It makes my Type R components and rear coaxials scream with authority. If you want a powerhouse quality 4 channel speaker amp for a reasonable price buy this one.

Jbl hands down when it comes to my highs. This amp puts out a ton of power and sounds great. Works well keeping up with my orion lows.

good but could be better

Honestly this amp is wicked. it pushes out way more than you might expect. However the way that JBL built the RCA inputs is incredibly cheap. They're not even soldered on. If you pull on them they pop right out. not cool. I figured this out when I unplugged a pair of monster RCA cables.

This was my first audio build and the JBL GTO1004 was a breeze to wire. Puts out plenty of power for a typical sound system and it keeps it's cool. A bit long but I made it fit.

Super duper fresh clean power! Lots of it!!

I would absolutely recommend the gto1004 to anybody with some good mids and highs that have a higher power rating. This thing looks sliiick and is very easy to hook up. This amp puts out everything your mids and highs could ever ask for and then some, I run all JBL power series that have an rms rating the same as the amp and have to keep the gain way down, well below clipping, just because it's simply too loud. The manual says to turn up the gain until the sound becomes distorted then back it down but I never did it because before I ever got close to distortion I feared for my new speakers lives. The sound quality is unmatched hands down I keep my treble on 0 and it's still incredibly crisp. When you see anything with a JBL logo you can rest assured that you will be overly satisfied.

Very Pleased

Very clean and stable, runs cool even at higher volumes letting me enjoy the power chords ripping through a Marshall stack, or the nuance of the breath noise in a Japanese flute. It all comes through as it should. Running the Power Series speakers in the cabin with the 1004 is a perfect match. The install was very easy with my well thought out install plan.

Loud and clear

The power is definitely there and more. But the terminals are cheaply made broken off just after a month of use had to solder in my own. But i still love it.
