The future is now

I bought this sub for my wife for a Christmas/birthday present as I was secretly upgrading her cars sound system as a whole. I was surprised at how much power this unit produces in such a small package. Gone are the days of trunk filling boxes to get hard hitting lows. If you’re even remotely thinking about getting this sub I highly recommend you do, you won’t be disappointed. The quick disconnects are a life saver for if trunk space is needed. Installation was a breeze, I cannot stress enough how awesome this thing is.

If you’re between this and the 8’s, read my review.

I bought both this and the twin W3 8s to try out. This 12 blew me away. It’s musical, sounds full, plays the range well, and overall it’s louder than you’d expect for 400 watts. Even tho it’s a 100 watts less than the two 8’s, it’s got more output. The 8’s however play equally as low as the 12 so you aren’t necessarily losing out on the frequency range. This 12 just moves more air. If you have the room, go for the 12. I was debating between seat risers or the 8’s. Sadly I decided against the rear seat risers so I sent the 12 back. I will likely send the 8s back as well as after hearing the 12 I am struggling to enjoy the 8s, especially given that they cost a few hundred bucks more. I’m likely going to build a custom enclosure to fit a (hopefully 2) TW3 12 under the back seat in a ported box. Had this 12 worked, I’d of not looked any further. Hope this helps those on the fence of which prefab setup to go with. I have a ‘25 Ford F-150 Super Crew Cab.
