Love this amp

I have this amp driving my factory setup (aftermarket components). 4-6x8s, and an 8-inch sub. The clarity is more than you can ask for no distortion at all. The HP/LP crossover is great for the speakers and sub combo and it makes the system sound great. Didn't have to sacrifice any space which was a big plus for me.

i can believe how loud, crear and crisp sound comes out of the jl audio XD600/6 amp. i'm runing those of course with front and rear 3 way jl speakers.

Superb sound you have to hear it to beleive it

Well, there's so much to say about this magnificent and fine piece of amp. The first thing to say about it begins with its crystal clear sound, this amp is driven by an 10 years old pioneer car stereo cd player. Yes I'm renewing the fleet on my car, and since the first try I noticed a huge difference from the previous amp from Pioneer that this amp was about to replace. I used 5 of the 6 channels that this baby comes with, 4 channels are connected to a set of 6x9" 160watts MB Quart speakers, the other channels drives an 12" Cerwin Vega single coil bass. So, I began the testing by playing a song from Enigma called "Sadness" the sounds from this song is a challenge to any sound system due to the deepness of the bass and the crisp of the highs. Well, all I can say is that never knew that the Cerwin Vega bass sounded so loud and deep since now. No distortion whatsoever, even with volume at 90%!!! The sound is just immaculate, crystal clear on the speakers as well in the bass. Every sound is perfect and bass is loud and the deepness of it is simply unbelievable. The size of this amp is another plus, in my case I placed it where is supposed to be the factory installed amp and it fitted so well that it looks like the OEM. Really easy to set up and adjust since every channel has it on crossover you can adjust the frequency range for every set of speakers. By doing this the distortion level on high volume can be eliminated and the efficiency and frequency response of the speakers is maximized.
CONS: Lack of bolts and nuts to attach it to the vehicle's body the only hardware that comes with it is the Allen wrench to tight and release the screws for the wiring connections.
So, a Home Depot visit is necessary to get 4 cylindrical head Allen screws with its bolts and washers in order to attach it to the vehicle.
My impression for this amp is that if you are looking for something that can fit even under you seat and at the same time can literally blow off you hears and can afford it JUST GET IT !!! it worth the money.

Awesome amp

You get what you pay for!! When using quality component speakers, make sure you're driving them with a quality amp.

Using these with Polk MM series 6.5"s and an OEM center, so I am using 5 of the 6 available channels.

It sounds fantastic and gets louder than I can tolerate without any distortion whatsoever. I am by no means an audiophile, but this was a worthy matchup for my Polks

jl audio, i have nothing but respect for those guys at jl audio i install the jl audio xd600/6 in my 2011 honda accord and all could say to you audio heads, the quality level this amp is push i can't believe the clarity of the sounds coming out my jl audio speaker. quality

A tiny suprise!

Installed this in my VW Quantum/Passat, with a JBL component speaker set and a Pioneer 12" sub, and an Alpine headunit. The sound is so crisp and clear, and the amp has enough power for most uses. It is so compact, and gives so much bang for the buck, that i would advise anyone who is looking for a small powerful amp to power a complete moderate car stereo, to consider it! JL Quality!

Awesome sound, and performance!

Put one of these in my 325i Wagon BMW and never looked back. Great product specs, sound, and power. Active cross-overs work well with my mix of after-market speaker components, and the sub-out drives a couple of 6x9's to pound just enough bottom without sacrificing an inch of space. Runs cool and clean - love the sound. Quite frankly, I'm considering adding the 4x JL class D as well... SonicElectronix was my vendor of choice, and they delivered.

Great Amp

I put this in a BMW along with Jehnert speakers. It is amazing how much better it sounds! The small footprint allows you to get creative with your installation, and the amp puts out clean sound as loud as you wish. Best amp I have had especially when the low price is considered.

Best Amp I've Ever Owned

This amp is amazing! I have owned a lot of amps over the years, and this one is by far the best. Sound quality is outstanding. Crystal clear, full and absolutely no background noise. Even with other digital amps, I have occasionally noticed slight engine whine, but not with this amp.... I'm still shocked with how much power this amp produces with such a small foot-print. JL has always produced great amps, but this one is at another level. With the 6 stereo channels, you can easily power 4 mid/highs and 2 subs without sacrificing any power/quality. I have also run 2 sets of Focal component speakers in a Tahoe and bridged channels 5 & 6 that powered a JL 12w6. This amp powered the whole system with ease and sounded incredible. Highly recommended!
