Buy THIS Over Pioneer DEH-X6600BT!!!

Cheaper than Pioneer 6600 and yet almost word for word description wise, all technically the same with about same specifications, but prefer JVC's over Pioneer's interface in this case ( BASED ON INSTALLATION AND USING BOTH) for example JVC's bluetooth connected flawlesly and automatically, had oose from issue with pioneer. You can choose from t what seems to be an unlimited amount of colors for your display! Just an overall great headunit for the price. Bluetooth microphone picked up conversation without a problem.

JVC sounds great

I was hesitant to replace my stock BMX radio in my 2005 X3, however I am grateful I did because the JVC KD-950BT has taken the sound quality to a new dynamic level (and this is with the stock BMW speakers). The multi-color display allowed me to sync my interior lights and the steering wheel control capatibility, made the functional intergration seemless. Very simply to operate and connectivity is easy. The bass, EQ really enhance the sound quality of bluetooth playback.

My only concern is the BIG A** OLD SCHOOL VOLUME CONTROL BUTTON. It takes away from the otherwise futuristic design

other than that, this is a awesome car audio component.

This stereo unit had all the features I wanted, plus some. The bluetooth set up easily. Sound quality is good.

Feaure packed, value priced!

This HU has so many features to customize your sound, I'm still playing around with it more than a month later! You can listen to tunes via Bluetooth, front/rear usb input, the tuner, Pandora, and even old school cds. Haven't used the cd drive and don't use the tuner much. It's also upgradeable to Sirius XM satellite radio. All this plus customizable illumination for both the display and buttons--what more could you ask for?!

PROS: All the different playback options
Bluetooth playback and seemless Andriod phone setup
3 RCA outputs for separate front or sub amp hookup
Sound tailoring

Cons: Learning curve kind of steep, but pretty intuitive after a couple weeks
The Pro Audio Setting has no section in the user guide, not sure how to tailor the sound, even though its based on personal taste
Programming the tuner presets is a PAIN beyond the first 6 stations - still haven't figured that out yet

Overall, this is a DEFINITE recommend.

Ordered this about a month ago , installed it in my truck very easily and it works perfect absolutly no problems. Has everything that you could want on a radio including allot of customizable settings allowing u to really control ur sound system. If ur looking for a sold unit that has a bunch of cool features then ur in the right place

Great deck for under $200 with a lot of features and settings,bluetooth mic works perfect even with the a/c on in the car. The color options is nice to customize to your vehicle.

Great product, love the display and the color options. I like the fact that it has 3 preamp out puts because I run dual amps for my subs and my components. The Bluetooth is awesome as well. If you're looking for a good priced head unit with all the bells and whistles this is most definitely the one!

Excellent all-around system

The primary motivation for purchasing this JVC was that handheld cell phones are against the law in many cities; the secondary reason was the ability to have Sirius satellite radio for those long trips. The support of Sonix makes installation straightforward. The only slight downrating is the complexity of the controls for all the features of this unit, and I could not imagine a way to simplify them (but there is a learning curve - be patient).

My favorite stereo ever

First off, I love how on the JVC units you just tap the huge knob to pause the music, and then to top it all off, when you turn the head unit off, it shows you the clock. I've been listening looking for that feature forever. Other than that, its got features galore, they all work, and the remote is intuitive. What more.could you want. I wish I had bought a second one of these instead of the Kenwood I as well. Bit this one sounds a whole lot better than the stock unit out of a 2002 Silverado.

It's ok buy buyer beware.

This is a solid unit that is well made and very easy to use. This was my first JVC unit. I was previously an Alpine guy but I decided to give this a try. The bluetooth is nice all though I thought the microphone was internal, it's not, it's external. It has a lot of features but there is a common issue this model has which is resetting itself and you have to constantly re-do you settings. There are many reviews of this issue. I returned mine and got the JVC-Arsenal-KD-AR959BS and I am much happier now

The best stereo I’ve ever had!

Awesome stereo, and for $99 are you kidding me? That is a steal. Illumination and color choices are crazy how many options they give you. Sound is amazing once you get the right settings. The volume is really nice too. All the source options are fantastic(iPod Bluetooth, Pandora, Spotify, iHeart Radio, Bluetooth Audio, Aux, FM, AM).

Tons and tons of options, settings; and choices to set it up any way you want. Just a suggestion, I finally found my perfect sound using the following settings:
EASY EQ>Bass +0, Mid +03, Treble +06
BASS BOOST>Off
LOUDNESS>Off
VOLUME ADJUST>+06
AMP GAIN>High Power
X OVER TYPE>2-Way(2-Way ON and 3-Way OFF)

The sound is SO much better than the Pioneer stereo I had but is was a few years old. I would absolutely recommend this stereo to anyone. You won’t find a better stereo at a better price anywhere!
