This in dash dvd is worth every penny. the touch screen interface is user friendly enough for day to day use, but provides further settings for those who want to put subs or aftermarket speakers. This dvd player made my stock speakers ten times better, my stock deck made the speakers rattle my doors, but i can bass this one as hard as i want with a crisp clear sound.

Absolutly great well thought out layout.
Pros: good video quality, good sound quality, perfect layout, love the ability to change the key color. Ability to view the iPod. And love the garmin navigation ability(accessory add on needed).

Cons: slow start up. Wish the theme was changable. Otherwise it is perfect.

Great Unit, Better Customer Service

I purchased the DDX-516 a few months ago, what a great unit! But originally when installed, when listening to a DVD, only my right side speakers would play. FM radio was fine though. Sent unit back claiming a defect and the people at Sonic Electronix got me jamming out again in no time! Overall a great deal, I have one in both of my rides! Only bad thing I can say is it takes a little bit longer to start up when you first turn the truck on. But other than that; its great!

Great Product

I have had this unit for about 6 months now. I am very happy with it. The only issue I have had is the unit disconnected from my iPod Nano a couple of times. I think the problem is with the Nano, because it does not do it at all when we use my sons iPod touch. The controls work well and I like the knob volume control.

Exactly What I Was Expecting

Easy install. Has the look i was initially going for. Works great sounds great. I would recommend.

Bought this unit to replace my $2000 Pioneer Avics system that went bad. New unit works as advertised
easy install, great sound, easy to use screens
this unit was a third of the money as the AVICs, it doesn't have nav but my phone does so no need to spend the extra dough
