I install this amp in a friends car. It is very powerful unlike many other car amps you can trust the specs. It is also has a very clean sounding amp.

Decent amp at a good price

I bought this amp for my Miata after receiving professional sound system advice. Grouped with a Sony head unit, Infinity speakers and a Kicker sub, this amp really drives some sweet clean sound. I don't play it super loud but rather look for quality sound - tough order in a top down Miata - and this equipment delivers. Recommended.

Great Little Amp!

This little amp is perfect. I have it pushing 2 6 x 9's and a JL 8W1 and it is a great combination even using the factory head unit. The signal sensing turn on is a great feature using the high level inputs because you don't need to run the REM. Power supplied via OFC 8 gauge wire and this little thing runs like a champ. Very satisfied.

Great Value & Product

The Kenwood amp is an awesome amp. Quiet, powerful, stays cool and easy to setup. I am running Polk speakers with this amp in conjunction with a zapco competition series amp. Excellent amp for the price.

I have this amp hooked up to a pair of Kenwood 5 1/2 Excelon speakers and a Kicker CVT 6 1/2 subwoofer in my Honda Silverwing 600 scooter and its banging

Quality not quantity

Good quality amplifier. Output is very clean, no distortion at high volumes. I like the fact that all wirering is on one side of the amplifier, this allows for a neat and easy installation. Currently I have this amplifier driving a pair of kicker KS13 tweeters and 4 pioneer 6 1/2 speakers and a kenwood KAC-8104D driving a dual 4 ohm pioneer 12" sub.

Kenwood KAC-8404

This product was every easy to setup, the sound quality had been great. I have Infinity Speakers attached and these seem like a very good match to a nice amp for a reasonable price.

A great little amp!

I purchased this amp primarily because it mounts very easily in a horizontal position and it looks great in my truck. I was impressed with the sound, I was a little skeptical but I was really surprised with the highs and the lows it produced. I would certainly recommend it to anyone with a descent system! It matches perfectly with the KAC-8104!

Clean Sound with enough punch

This amp is a big time upgrade from running the stock speakers off the head unit (including the new speakers too).

Installation needed a little bit of customization on my part, but that is all in fun.

All the connections are on one side so it made it easy to hide the wires when installing.

Not a bad buy for the price and the sound is nice and clear. This is also paired with a KAC-8104D pushing 2 kenwood 10s; so this amp just adds to the overall ensemble of quality sound.

worth every penny

I bought this product to replace the earlier model, the earlier version did not have the fan, As I was very happy with the earlier model it did cut out when getting very hot, with this model , the temperature has to be extremely hot, and in direct sunlight which is the only way it has cut out on myself. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great 4 channel amp, which I am running 2 channels at 2ohm stereo and the other 2 channels bridged to a subwoofer.

Great Sound, But gets too hot

I have this product, but the problem is that it gets way to hot. I have 4 pioneer speakers hooked up and the amplifier gets too hot. I have tried everything but it still gets hot. I taught it was great, but it doesnt meet the expectations.

Good Amp

This a good amp for the price. The power and sound quality are good. The built-in cooling fans are okay, just make sure it can get some air flow, it does get a little hot, but I push it hard for long periods of time. The built in crossovers work really well. I have this matched up with a Clarion head unit and 4 Memphis Audio 5X7s and it rocks. The prices from Sonic Electronix cannot be beat.

Clean Installation, plenty of power

Amp sounds good. Clean installation due to all connections being one side. I have 2 Kicker 6x9s on one channel, and a 10" JL 10W1v2-4 sub bridged on the other channel. Only concern is that it gets hot quickly, but it hasn't shutoff due to this. RMS rating is accurate.

good value amp

Had amp professionally installed. It works fine. Drives 4 75 watt infinity 3 way 6.5 inch speakers just right. Only had 1 issue in 15k miles, once while driving very fast for a half hour, with the speakers cranked, the amp overheated. I believe it was a combination of too much current from car, and cranked too loud too long. Once cooled off, was fine. Never occurred since.

Kenwood KAC-8404

I have a set pioneer 6x9, 6 1/2 and twitters All hooked up to this amp and I have a 1000 watts for my subs and you can still hear the highs clear I got a great deal from sonic electronix

The KAC 8404 rocks!

The amp is excellent. Installation turned out beautiful, in function and appearance. The built in cooling fans are quiet and effective. After long periods of high volume, the amp is just semi- warm. Sound is very stable, loud, and clear. It is definately an upgrade from my previous amp.
