I purchased 2 of these a month ago. I have had the KFC-W3011 and KFC-W3012 was nervous about getting the shallow mounts. But I needed more trunk space. Turns out the best subs I have had. There both in .80 cf sealed boxes. All around better subs. Saved about half the room in my trunk. Recommend to any one.

Was nervous about getting this sub because of the lack of reviews, but it is freaking amazing. I get happier and happier every time i here it. I used to have two type r 12's and was bummed when i got my new truck and could not fit them, thought about getting the type r shallow but they cost way too much. I bought one of these and am so happy, i will deffinitely buy another. I have it in a .68 box which is a lil small for the sub, but it still sounds amazing. It hits rediculously hard, it does struggle just a bit with the lows but they still sound pretty good, it might just be because my box is too small; ill find out when i build a bigger new box to fit two they will have 1.65 shared air space.

Back in November my truck got broken into in my subwoofer was stolen. The subwoofer I had in there was a JL AUDIO 13TW5-3. I had 2 in a stealth box behind the seat of my tundra. The other one wasn’t stolen because I had my sons car seat in the way and the thieves couldn’t remove it. Since the 13tw5-3 are discontinued I either had to go with the 13tw5-4 or something else. I went this kenwood. It keeps up great with my JL audio one. Fit in the stealth great and am extremely satisfied what I got for price I paid. It picks up the bass on songs that are for a subwoofer to pick up. It is a good replacement for the 13tw5-3 that was stolen from truck. I didn’t want to buy another Jl audio one because it was just too damn expensive. At least if someone breaks in and steals this one it won’t hurt as bad as when the 13tw5-3 was stolen. I was hesitant because this is a kenwood one but it did not disappoint. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation like mine then this is definitely your solution.
