Great small box

I need a something that could fit under my rear seat. Found this component and it works great. Completed my system and it sounds great. Deep rich bass sounds.

great little sub

The following review is for a previous version (40TCWRT82).

This sub is a perfect addition to my alpine type Rs... it adds a little more kick to the bass and its clean with no distortion. I am surprised how much bass this little thing generates!

Rocking little sub

The following review is for a previous version (40TCWRT82).

I like rock music, but from time to time listen to rap. I knew an 8" would work well for my rock but was a bit skeptical about the rap music, because of the lack of surface area. I figured I'd buy two of these like the specs recommended to make up for this problem. I got it spot on! Go Me! I have two of these, one each behind the seats of my Mustang. It's a tight fit, but I made it work. The sound is accurate and bassy enough for me, especially sense it is in the same cabin as me. These two little guys really impressed me.

Not Good for Me

The following review is for a previous version (43TCWRT82).

Great if you want to add a little bass ans save space. Great looking and extremely efficient package. Does not handle 300 watts RMS; 150 is more than enough. Did not work for my setup. I needed a little more spl. Had to return it.

Great Sound For A Compact Sub

The following review is for a previous version (40TCWRT82).

I have been a Kicker fan for years. Was looking around for an 8" sub replacement for my ported enclosure of my Chevy S10. Instead of buying 2 new 8" subs, I researched this Kicker CompRT subwoofer 8" slim enclosure/sealed box; it pushes great sound/bass hits even with the 600W/300W/2ohm version. I now have a lot more space in the back of my bench seat than with the previous sub box. What a difference this upgrade has made!👍👍

Blew my mind!

The following review is for a previous version (40TCWRT82).

The sound that comes out of this speaker is amazing! I have only 300 watts pushing it and the sound is incredible! Definitely worth every penny for this product.

Love it!!

The following review is for a previous version (40TCWRT82).

I love this because is compact wich was important because my 1972 chevy pickup didnt have much room for duel 12 inch JL Audio subs so i had to find a compact sub. it was nice because it fit perfectly under the drivers seat. I listen to Dirty Bass by far east movement and you can feel the air vibrate. Might buy another if I get a deal on it :)

Great choice for smaller size needs

Just received the Kicker TCWRT82 (48TCWRT82) 8" sub with a passive radiator to use in my Honda hatchback. I'm using with a Rockford Fosgate mono block amp and factory radio. I'm using high level input tapped off the factory sub, the new Kicker does a great job of adding punch to the sound. I've only had it a few days, but is already sounding better as the driver's break in. If you don't have a lot of space and want solid bass sound, I'd recommend checking it out. Was a good buy with black Friday sale, too.
