The Kicker 48TCWRT82 is the most compact entry in the truck-style wedge series. Standing just 11.5" tall and less than 4" deep at the top, it is designed to disappear into the smallest spaces—like behind the seat of a single-cab pickup or tucked into the corner of a hatchback.
Despite its tiny footprint, it utilizes the same dual-driver logic as the rest of the line: one active 8" CompRT shallow subwoofer and one 8" reFLEX™ passive radiator. This pairing allows the enclosure to output low-end frequencies down to 30 Hz, giving you "real" bass response that standard small sealed boxes simply can't match.

Great choice for smaller size needs
Just received the Kicker TCWRT82 (48TCWRT82) 8" sub with a passive radiator to use in my Honda hatchback. I'm using with a Rockford Fosgate mono block amp and factory radio. I'm using high level input tapped off the factory sub, the new Kicker does a great job of adding punch to the sound. I've only had it a few days, but is already sounding better as the driver's break in. If you don't have a lot of space and want solid bass sound, I'd recommend checking it out. Was a good buy with black Friday sale, too.
