Good Amp Great Price

I installed this amp in a customers car powering 2 Clif Designs CD100W Subs. The subs were underpowered, but still sounded tight, however not too deep. For the price you can't beat the quality though.

good starter

I've had this amp for about 10 months now hooked up. It is a good starter amp sound quality is fairly good when wired correctly (use preamps and sounds miles clearer...of course) safety protection is very nice for someone who is worried about loading down amps and blowing them, this amp WILL NOT run if it is loaded down further than specs. Inversely this is not the amp for you if you want mind blowing bass and want to load down for burping

I have been the proud owner of a HK400D for a little over a year. I recently received a pretty good bonus on my job, so to treat myself I decided to upgrade to this amp. I had a single Powerbass M-10 hooked to the 400D. So, I figured if one was good, why not have two. If you are anything like I am, you've probably done a ton of research and you have seen people say that in order to have a great system you need RF or JL, or even Kicker. Don't get me wrong, these are fine amps. All I'm saying is, you don't have to spend all that money to get a QUALITY amp. Maybe this one doesn't have a built in fan, if you have it installed properly and buy the right amp for the job, you won't have any problems, and if you do MA has something other amps for this price range don't; a full 2 yr warranty. If you are looking for a starter system, or upgrading like I am, MA has what you are looking for whether it be clean S.Q. or window breaking SPL, they make one with over 4000watts RMS. And Powerbass falls right in with the MA. So, don't believe the hype... These are quality products, my money is too hard to come by to throw it away...nuff said.

great value, and great performance

I purchased this amp for my g/f, after installing this amp with 2 kicker 12" comps i must say i'm impressed, the amp puts out tons of clean useable power and is built like a freakin tank, and the chrome accent is a very nice detail, i would recommend this amp to anyone looking for a budget sub system.

this is a very nice amp...only downside is no cooling fan or nothing, but other than that it's built very well and puts out nice clean power...definitely worth the money, i have it hooked up to two MA audio 12s and it POUNDS..great buy
