Mb quart amps are loud!
Have this amp wired to a 12 at 4 ohm mono and it sounds great. Rattles my car but not so bad I can't use the mirrors. Excellent amp from an even better place sonic!!!

great product
I'm using these as front speakers in my RX-8 with an MB Quart 4-channel amp. They handle the power very well and provide a excellent sound quality.

Great CEA rated amp for the money.
I recently purchased this amp as a gift for my fiancee and I would have to say that its a great starter amp for the money. I have a polk audio 1540mm 15" subwoofer hooked up to this amp bridged at 4-ohms and it hits hard and accurate so I believe the rated 400-watts rms bridged.
Pros:
> Nice piano black gloss finish
> cea rated
> silver plated terminals (silver is a better conductor than gold or platnuim.
>small so its easy to mount in discreet areas like under a seat etc...
>low THD at Rated RMS Power 0.05%
> 4-Way System Protection circuitry (DC, thermal, overload, and speaker short protection)
Cons:
> no speaker level inputs
>setting gain lpf and hpf is a little tricky sense its not a digital read just an analog knob.
All in all, A great amp for only
$70-90 and is CEA rated. Just make sure to set your gain properly with a multimeter or an o-scope.
If you have any questions I will gladly answer them :)

Awesome amp!
Got this hooked up to my Sony 12" Xplod sub bridged at 400 watts and it's awesome! It replaced am MTX TC4004 which is only 200 watts bridged. Major difference. I was able to raise the output level on my Maxxsonics MX3 all the way up and it has increased my db output. I don't pay attention to the voltage settings printed on equipment. They're pretty much for reference only so I always go by my ears when setting my levels. There's no distortion and it has increased my overall sound. I have an ONYX 4.80 on the way to use on my highs as well. My one complaint would be the plastic mounting feet but it's a good thing they use plastic because I mounted the amp to the back of my seat which is metal. The beautiful piano black paint gives it a sweet look. I've always been a fan of Maxxsonics equipment and have maintained the MB QUART reputation. Definitely recommend this amp!

MB Quart Amplifier
I purchased 3 of these amplifiers and am quite pleased with the output they provide. the sound is strong, clean and warm. I am just a guy that likes good music, not anyone that is looking to beat down the neighbor's house with a trunk full of subs. You can't go wrong with these amps and the price is amazing for what you get.

wrong info
To the other reviewer, this amp is 200 watts at 4 ohm and 400 watts at 2 ohms. Please get your facts correct before you write a review.

I like it
Bought this in the first place for a pair of 6x9 speakers in my old car, but now powering an 8" at 200w rms in my new car. It hits good and I'll probably be buying another of the same sub and i'm confident the amp will have no problem.

Great amp for the $$!!!
I have this amp running a set of MB Quart PVL268 components in my Ford Escape. The amp has plenty of power and the sound quality is great for a amp of this price. The quality is top notch as well. My only complaint is the glossy finish. Its a fingerprint magnet. I highly recommend this amp to anyone looking to power a set of good components or some subs. It does put out 400 watts rms x 1 @ 4ohms, & maybe a little more. I hooked it up to a Alpine Type R that was 600 watts rms & it pushed it every bit as good as my friends Hifonics 600 watt monoblock...

To the prior review...
But is says 400 watts rms "bridged"... For the 1st review are you using it bridged and does it really perform as 400 watt rms bridged amp for a sub?

You get what you pay for!
This one of those "you get what you pay for" deals. It's not a bad amp, but don't expect the world either. For it being 400 watts rms at 4 ohms, it seems like 200 if that. I have a kicker class D 400 watts at 2 ohms, and what a difference. Should have just saved the extra coin and got another one.

Good sound quality
Best performance for the price I have found so far. Hooked to a set of component 5x7 with crossover and tweeters, sounds awesome. Built well and looks great too. Would recomend it for any application

Great amp, can refuse to turn on sometimes though.
I got this amp to power my coaxial speakers, and they sound great. This amp puts out some awesome power and I was really surprised by it. Usually I go for something a little higher end, but the price was unbeatable, I've been impressed. I have had a few problems with it though. Occasionally when I turn on my car, the amp won't turn on. But for 97% of the time, it's great!

Excellent buy
Excellent value for the money. I like the size, they are not too small or too big and I was able to mount it in a out of the way location in my car and has plenty of punch to boot.

MB Quart ONX2.100
So far i've had this amp for about 1 mpnth in my car, it's a great little amp drives my front RE Audio SR 6.5c really well. First of all i don't listen to loud volumes, i listen to a variety of music from classical to pop. On instrumental jazz all i can say is wow, the detail is great. The RE Audio's are a great speaker match with this amp
I have'nt had any issues with it yet.
This amp was recommened to me by the staff at Sonic as a great value amp in my budget point. I would recommend this product to anyone who is on a budget and requires a decent amp.
