I had two. Blew one up yesterday. Had them for about 9 months. Both in a ported box tuned the same. Had 2 amps 1 per sub and fried one of the voice coils in one of the subs.

great sub
I have one of these getting 600rms from a planet audio amp in a 2.0^3 ported box. It hits hard and handles the lows pretty good. It renders my rearview mirror useless and rattles my trunk hatch like crazy, considering its a single sub setup. Got it used from ebay for 80$. It doesn't disappoint.

Powerful Subwoofer
With this subwoofer take your time to let it get played in.
Go easy on it at first, then start turning up the amplifier.
You do not need to turn much up before you really here the bass on it. It plays the low bass level really well.

tight bass
want 500 RMS bass this is the one go for it, louder then an Alpine Type R, better sound quality then a w3. Friend has 2 of those and is louder then most of the 500 RMS subs. want have the sound quality and sound pressure level MTX audio is the way to go for it. I have used Kicker audio before they have the sound pressure level that's pretty much it, nothing else. I have switched to MTX audio and they are rock the heck out of my world.
