Usable

The wiring has done me right so far but the only thing I don't like is the speaker wires. You have to carefully split it so the wire doesn't show. Other than that minor thing everything was great and a great value!

the price is right for this setup. the ground wire and the power wire are to big for my amp but i made them fit. better to have to much than not enough so if i upgrade to a larger amp it will be fine.

I run 2 12inch audiobahn exursions on this amp and it pushes them very well. The size is perfect not to big and fits right unerneath the seat or small space. The best part is it stays pretty cool even after running most the day.

I like the wire kit I got with my amp it seems to be holding up goo it handles the power of the amp I got but I would of gave it 5 stars all the way around but I wold of like the ground at less 2 more feet for good use but over all its a nice kit

Was given some Hush Mat and needed more. but the pricing difference was waaay better for the NVK product. Appears to me that the two are similar in construction. But an advantage for the NVK product it is all Black in color. Does not show if your happen to not cover all or edges. I also like that the NVK product is in larger sheets.

Do not hesitate to buy, works wonders

I applied NVX sound damping mat into my front doors, inside cabin, and truck. Let me tell you it made a big difference in SQL and noise reduction in the inside cabin. My speaker volume doesn't need to go extremely high to hear the sound quality of the music. Love this stuff, need to buy another to complete the whole car.

Ok. not the best kit.

The eyelet connectors are flimsy and the speaker wire is hard to separate. When it does it exposes some of the copper. Otherwise the kit is ok.

Good product , but not enough speaker wire to wire two front door speakers in a scion xb. I guess it would have been enough if I had run one of them with the power wire instead of running on the other side of car, but everybody knows that's a bad idea due to engine noise. You would think they would take that into consideration. Also not a big fan of the square and round speaker wire very hard to separate and strip without exposing bare wire.

Bought this kit for my 650 watt rms amp. Not true awg 4 guage, but close.jacket is pretty thick.all wires flexible. Reached under the back seat of my 2008 silverado crew cab. But not a whole lot of slack if your going to a trunk. Fuse is ok... ive seen better and worse. Bottom line, if your on a budget and running 800 rms or under, this will work fine.

Great wires!!

After reading reviews and most importantly watching the video Sonic posted with this product, I decided to give it a shot for my Cerwin Vega VPAS-12. The wires are exactly as described, true 4 gauge, not all insulation like the other brands. The fuse block is solid and easy to set up. I was worried it may not fit the VPAS connectors since they mention 8 gauge, but it works and it is holding in no problem.

The only thing I did change was the actual battery and ground terminals, they seemed weak, so i chose something stronger and all is well.

Works but ...

At low volume it sounds as if the subs turned off. Sq is fine but a horrible turn off pop on the subs. Gains have to be turned way past where any amp I had were. You also have to have the bass boost turned up just to get any low end out of the subs at low volume.
Controls on the ends are fine and work as intended.
Comes with the bass knob for the front . Maybe I got a bad one.. Expected more than what I have out of this company. Feels nice and heavy solid construction .

I’ve tried them all and this is Hands down the best!

I’ve tried other cheap brands like Kilmat,noico and siless and this blows it out of the water not only does it weigh a ton of bricks but it basically silenced my cab and made my sound system sound a lot better even at low volume so I don’t have to worry about turning it up. I will say that you might want to wait for a warmer day as it does get pretty stiff when cold so I suggest using a heat gun and a roller if it’s going to be below 60°. Also make sure that you clean off the area very well or it will not stick. I recommend cutting it in half because trying to mount a single she is very hard as they are very big and heavy. My loud ass truck now sounds like a Bentley, jk but definitely more quiet. I highly recommend this over the other brands. Worth every penny.

Used dynamite before and needed something similar. Shipping was quick and plenty of sheets to get my Jeep done. Very nice quality and thicker butyl than some of the no-name brands. Appreciate the black color, blends in well in the trunk area, the black is less noticeable if left uncovered. Definitely recommend picking up a roller to get this stuff installed. Also helpful to have a sharp razor knife to cut through the aluminum top layer and to carefully cut through the butyl.

Didn't anticipate this stuff being so heavy LOL.
Worked great to stiffen up the cabin space of my Jeep Comanche, reducing a significant amount of cabin reverberation and resonance. cut back a bit on road noise too. easy enough to install, though getting to the point of installation was anything but easy. using a 2"wide roller and a rounded end 3/4" dowel and occasionally a panel pry, I was able to get nearly all the major problem areas of my listen space. Plenty in the pack for me to go three layers thick in the problematic areas, and single layer in minor areas with enough for what I could reach in and apply to the doors. great stuff. decent value. would recommend and definitely buy again.

Nothing short of Epic

I admit that i was a bit hesitant to pick this guy up. I could get the same power from cheaper amplifiers, but MTX has been around for years and their products have always been in the SPL scene, so I went with my gut on this on. NO REGRETS!! Right out of the box, the amplifier is clearly build right, hefty, and with high quality components. Beyond that, the aesthetics are nothing special, But I think that speaks volumes! Why waste money on putting a skull with pretty lights on the chassis, and not put that towards developing a proper amplifier. Thats what we got here.

I used proper 0 Gauge OFC wiring to make sure the amp gets the power it needs, hooked up to an XS Power battery, and an AudioControl Epicenter. For having a cheesy name like "Thunder" , you really do get that.

Does the job

I bought 3 boxes which is way more than I needed, but I will use whatever is left to chase rattles, if any. I cut each of the 10 sheets into dollar bill sized rectangles and got way better coverage than using the whole sheet.

Everything I Needed

Used this kit to run an amp to the trunk of a 2015 Kia Optima. Ended up trimming about 1½ft of excess to help clean up the install. Everything seems to be good quality. Ran the power wire down the driver's side and RCA & amp signal wire down the passenger side to avoid any interference. Plenty of length of everything for a full size sedan.
