Great Amp

I’m running this amp with 4- JL Audio 8.8” Coax speakers in my boat. Amp is running 2ohms channel speakers are seeing around 200w each. I’m not running the filter on the amp just adjusting at the Simrad head unit. Super clean sound. I’m adding 4 JL 7.7s in the rear and I’ll power those with another 2Ch NVX Amp. Also, I play my system at the sandbar for hours with no issues. I can even start my boat on the same battery after hours of playtime. I will absolutely buy another ????

Great amp for the money

I was looking for an affordable bass amp and this one definitely did not disappoint! It has great power and makes my Kicker 12s sound better than ever before. The small form factor is a bonus. So much power from a small amp! I will definitely be looking into more NVX products in the future

Great little amp

I had 2 Rockford Fosgate P3 12s in my f150 on a Rockford 800watt amp and it lasted about 2 years. I replaced it with this amp and it's outlast my Rockford and is still going strong in a friend car. I would purchase it again for sure.

I installed this amp on my wake boat to power (2) 9" horn-loaded kicker tower speakers, excellent sound quality, and clarity. I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for a good alternative to some of the higher-end marine amplifiers out there.

Tons of clean power!

This is the second NVX 8402 that I bought. I love the fact that it has an integrated fan to keep it cool. There is virtually no sound, like some amps, on start up. When the volume is low and you set the gain properly, once again, no background noise or his. Super clean power!! I have this powering an Infinity KAPPA 90-CSX 6x9 component set with the added KAPPA 20MX mid in a '05 Ram quad cab. When I play HIRES USB files, I swear, I feel like I'm in the studio or concert where the recording was made. This replaced a Rockford Prime 500 watt amp which sounded good but didn't really feed my Infinity speakers like they needed. So far so good after 1 year on the first amp. I going to put the second in a Toyota Matrix with a similar setup.

Okay amp for the money

I looked at the specs on the website and it says: S/N ratio >105 db. The owners manual says >85 db. Even that is possibly optimistic. It sounds okay at about 2/3 volume, any less and the noise floor is very noticeable, any more and it starts to smear the highs. In the sweet spot it sounds decent and somewhat clear, still not bad for the money.
