NVX XKIT02

This is a nice wiring kit no doubt about it. Very sturdy and flexible, easy to work with. It is definitely true 1/0 cable and seems to be pushing the Hifonics BRX2000 amp I have with more than enough power. Rca's are also pretty nice and seem to be working as stated (no feedback or humming). I also like the fact that the battery side of the power cable is pre-sleeved and has the ring terminal already installed for you with heat shrinks as well. Same on the ground cable. Over all its a nice kit, might be a little pricey compared to other kits, but you pay for quality. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Fine Wire

Wires seem accurate. They transfer plenty power but I do have to upgrade battery to turn amp up more only running it at .25(1/4) and even then my lights dim front to back.

I got this kit to wire a boss 2600 watt amp. The wires were huge there was no way I could run it to my amp. The quality was so great that instead of returning it I used it to upgrade my battery cables and my chassis ground. I only wish it came with more ground wire as I need a few more feet to finish my chassis ground upgrade.

Let me start by saying I've owned plenty of subs and amp and have had everything from 10's to 15's and amps from 300 to 5000+. This subwoofer in a 2.5^ft box with and re audio ctx4200.1 is so amazing it's unreal. I love this setup. I spent $400 on this sub and the amp and it will beat most $800 setups I promise. My entires car shakes but in the most amazing way possible. The clarity is so crisp and it hits all the low notes perfectly. Definitely my go to brand from now on. NVX all the way. I had 2 Rockford p1 15s and was planing on upgrading so when I blew one of my subs I new it was time. I thought I'd give nvx a try (i figure if EXO is impressed with them then I can't go wrong.) Obviously, there going to be better than the p1s, but thare doing way more than i anticipated. I can't Waite to get these 2 metered at Midwest audiofest. I will defiantly be getting 2 more soon.

NVX DOES IT AGAIN

I have this amp connected to 2 15”VCW 15’s with big 3,3600 Energie battery & Mechman240. At first I had it on an audiopipe dealer line 2k and it sounded great but just not enough. So, I ordered this lil monster and boom!!! My subs came to life! Just make sure to set your gains and make sure you’re not clipping the subs and you will be very satisfied.

Two 15s

Great sub. I got two of them hook to my RF T1500 and they can handle all the power my amp gives them. They sound clear and hit every note to be 15s. And yes they can get LOUD

NVX VAD27001

The amp has plenty of power and I like it very much so far for the most part. It looks nice and is pretty small. It makes a "bump" noise when turning on. I am told this is due to the head unit only having 2v preouts. Also, the inputs are not 0 AWG. Neither the 0 AWG wire ferrules or NVX 0 AWG wire would fit. This was very disappointing. If installing in a truck or SUV the fan noise will be able to be heard. The amp does get very hot to the touch but has not ever shut down. We will see how things go in the long run but so far I would buy this again.

Ok Here is the Bottom Line, This is not a spl sub period. It is a fantastic flawless pure wonderous joyful quality from heaven sub. Do not give it over true 1100 rms you will cook the coils faster than H*ll! Now lets get to the facts this baby is pure quality that can literally hit every single frequency in a song from low,mid,high with pure heavenly accurate perfection. Just to name a few I compared it to, re sx pro, re sxxv2, re sex, pa mofo, polk mm(which has 5 star reviews for amazing sound q) and the list goes on nobody can touch nvx on sound q, accuracy, and best of all the wide bandwith of frequencies it hits and perfects. (please note this was not achieved until properly broken in.) I know you can read reviews on tons of subs and see 5 star reviews you will have to trust this one that its the ultimate sub hands down. The only thing it doesnt have is power handling. Id love to see nvx make the voice coil bigger, longer, and give it more than 4 layers it would be unstopable. IF YOU WANT SQ WITH DECENT SPL BUY THIS SUB FORGET EVERYTHING ELSE PERIOD!!!!!!

From what ive learned NVX came out in 2011 and there whole business is about being better than others and building nothing but quality... Pleasurable Bass

Went from a pair of Polk Audio Dxi 12s in a custom ported box to this VCW154 from NVX and I'm quite impressed. I've only had it installed in 2.8cu ft box (32HZ) for a few days, and it gets better with each listen. Run off a JBL GTX500 amp @ 2ohm with gain all the way down and -03 set on my JVC's subwoofer output and this thing readily spanks my old Polks in every way! The mid bass is punchier and the lows are so much cleaner and louder and I'm still breaking this sub in! Actually makes my Kia van flex (no easy feat with one sub in large minivan cabin) SQ seems pretty good for a 15, but will need further breakin/tuning to really be able to judge. I would recommend this to anyone looking to step up from cheaper subs :)

This 15" NVX is bad a$$

I have own alot of subwoofers from JL Audio to Eclipse and I have to say these NVX are as good if not better . They sound great and they will hit them low lows easy. The price is amazingly affordable and you get 10x the bang for your buck. This is my first time purchasing and owning NVX but they have me for good now. Powerful and hungry

I have had it hooked up for about 15 minutes so far. I have the gain adjusted to target 1500 watts for my current setup and man does it make those 12s hit harder and more crisp than my previous kicker amp. I started to smell something burning and am not sure what it was so I disconnected for now. I dont think it was the amp or subs but the voltage drop was causing something else to malfunction or run hot(My other nvx amp for door speakers went into protect so I'm guessing). Eventually I will be taking the stock 150 amp alternator out for a 320, adding an additional battery and building an enclosure for the amps new friends, a pair of kicker L7 solo 15s!

NVX VAD27001

This Amp is a great buy for the output of power. I'm pushing a Memphis 14 inch Six Five Series Woffer and it pounds. I would recommend changing your charging system, 230 amperage or more is always better. You absolutely must have 0 gage wires. This Amp thrives on power. Hands down I would buy this Amp over and over again.

Great Value/Power, Little Footprint

I spent alot of time researching a top notch budget amp to give me tons of wattage in a small install space. This amp fit the bill. And it seems to be surprisingly good quality. I'm actually about to order a 2nd one so i can power my 2 Sundown U-12d4's with just about 2k watts @2ohms each. And knowing I have just under 3k watts at my disposal EACH AMP for future upgrade possibility is AWESOME. I considered a few other amps in this power range but they were enormous and easily 3x the cost. But since its bass I'm powering I don't need them to be tippy top notch $1500 amps.

Great kit at a great price!

This kit looks great! The wire is definitely true gauge, it measures at 16mm for the housing, and just over 12mm for the wire itself. Having the ends pre-terminated and shrunk guarantees a solid connection without having to buy special tools. The power wire is partially covered in braided sleeving which helps protect it in the engine bay. Fuse block is nice and came with a 150 AMP ANL ( not mini ANL as stated in the description) but no complaints here because that's better considering the amount of current traveling through it. Speaker wire is true 12 gauge as well. Overall excellent kit for the money definitely would recommend!

Probably the best kit I've ever bought. Nice "true to spec" heavy cables but are very flexible and easy to work with. Comes with absolutely everything needed for a clean install. Only negative is the cover for the fuse holder can pop off easily. That is very minor and I would highly recommend this kit especially paired with the NVX JAD 1200.1 amp.

POWER! and then some

Lots of power! I have 2 swr-t10 and on the 1700 they were nice but on this one they are making them sound like what I wanted. There is a pop noise on turn on (minor and soon not really noticed) same as the 1700.1 and less fan noise than the 1700.1 After 6 out of 40 volume its what fan? There is also a bit more heat. I will attribute that to the lower fan speed and the power. it could also be it would rather a 1 ohm load but $1200 in woofers means 2 ohm load.
AGM battery and I ran 0g welding wire OFC as well as ground on 4g adapters to make sure its getting well fed and oh yeah it eats power! Smacks it lips and gives it back to the woofers!
It really does put out a lot of power even at 2 ohms. The sound is nice and low and incredibly deep. I wanted sq over spl and this delivers and then a little more. Nice sound quality and enough power I could switch up woofers and spl.
is it worth it?? always a big question.. Yes I like it it meets my expectations although warmer than I like turn on pop is minor, fan noise isnt really an issue but its there .

Clean warm bass

I think where nvx shines is their subs. This really nice clean warm bass that's extremely pleasing to the ears very clean like home audio very very nice sub takes power no problems three years old just awesome

Can tell where corners are cut

I understand it's a budget amp but dude come on, how am I supposed to know if this amp is even going to work properly when the board inside clearly isn't straight and there is a huge scratch across the top, don't worry though the peal saved the nvx logo. I thought about repping nvx but not after this. Oh yea and I'm STILL waiting on orders that are wayyyy past the time frame I was willing to wait.

I had the VAD1700.1 with a couple of vcw104s at 1 ohm which I absolutely was amazed at but anyone who is reading this knows how it is...I wanted more! When I got the 2700.1 and two vcw124s I got more alright and then some I could not ask for more in this price range I got some friends who have two to three times as much invested in their setups and they can't touch my NVX install and say that when the time comes to replace anything they are looking to NVX. I also have the VADM4 and JAD 800.4 with an XCAP10 on a 350 amp alternator. I would buy any NVX product that I have purchased again and again. Highly recommend

Great amp! Underrated for sure

I bought this amp for the small footprint and decent power. I got more than expected. Currently running one of these on 3 SA rev3 D4s @ .67 ?. voltage is 15.4-16v and this thing loves every bit of it. Never gets hot. Going on almost a year now and it never skips a beat. Beastly power.

Long lasting

Recommended. I have had my sub for 2-3 years. Played daily. Very loud. Very Low. I have a crap prefab box. Yet people think I have 2-3 subs in. I have a 1200 watt NVX amp on them. I believe I’m getting 600 to 700 watts out of it the way it’s hooked up. I’m pretty sure it can handle more but I need an extra battery the nvx capacitor is not keeping up.

Full bridged?

I've purchased 2 of these amplifiers over the years for a great price. I purchased every time they went on sale. They are great amps and I've not had any problems with then. I do not like the turn on pop nor how loud the fans are but thats it. Now... I was looking today, 5-15-23, at the listing and it has full bridged at the top??? Why wasn't this advertised like this when I purchased it?? I thought it was a half bridged amp. I wish I knew how to tell otherwise because I feel that was deceptive. I don't think I would have purched it if I had know it was full bridged. Not that it doesn't perform, I just didn't want a full bridged amp. Price makes since now that I have learned it's full bridged but I digress.

I bought this sub to replace a sub that burned up after a month. So far I am satisfied with what it can do. I have it in a custom made 4 cubic ft ported box tuned to 28 hz. The box was made for a different sub however not wanting to get rid of a brand new custom built box I decided to give the NVX 15.4 a chance. Now obviously the box has way more room than the NVX 15 needs according to the specs but I tried it anyway and I can tell you right now that I am not disappointed. This sub hits hard and low as hell but still sounds clean even at high volume. I have one Kicker 40KX1200.1 Mono wired down to 2ohm which is way more power then this sub is rated for and have had no issues at all so far. This thing is moving big air. I have for many years been solely an Earthquake customer and enthusiast so for me this was a big deal. NVX has impressed me with this product.

Now I Haven't Installed These Yet, Still Building The 6th Order. I Own And Have Installed Many Of The VCW 10D4's And Tuned Properly With Excellent Electrical Will Crush You. At 50hz I'll Make You Sick To Your Stomach...LOL...I Know But Their 10's Everybody Says And Your Right But Until You See The 10's You'd Think I Was Running 2 15's On 5k. Now Don't Get Me Wrong There Are Better Subs Out There, But For Right At $200.00 For The 12's And 15's These Are Priced Right, Musical Subs That In The Right Enclosure Can Get Low And Nasty! ( FYI These Subs Have A Aluminum Voice Coil Not Copper Which I Have Found Allows These Subs To Run Cooler Longer And Will Handle Over Rated RMS With Proper "Break In".) Im running 1 15 (waiting to order another) in a custom sealed box. This is the first 15 I've ever owned and I absolutely love it. I've always ran 12s because i listen to a lot of rock and heavy metal and I've had just about every brand you can think of. I stepped up to a 15 for the first time and this thing is awesome!! Sounds tight and clean even in the fast drum beats and slams when listening to rap and hip hop. I promise you will get more then you pay for with these subs.

Very nuce

This sub is bangin'! I have it in a sealed box at 1.7 cubes to include displacement. It's paired with a Rockford prime 1200.1d at 2ohms. (Roughly 700-900wrms.)

It's a musical sub. There was no lag in fast paced techno, played rock well and got down/dirty with rap/r&b. Very high output sub. Couldn't imagine it in a ported enclosure.

To sum it up, this sub won't disappoint you.

Great For Trunk Baffle (IB) Install

I installed a single VCW154 in my sedan via trunk baffle / infinite baffle, I'm feeding it 450 ish watts, about half of the sub's rated RMS, via the NVX JAD900.5 amp. I'm very, very happy with this sub (and the NVX amp).
It sounds amazing, very clean and musical, diggs very deep. Trunk baffle installs are more for SQ than SPL and require subs with lots of x-max. This monster totally fits the bill.
For those who care, I weighed the sub by itself and it came in at 30.5 pounds, not 37 like it says here on Sonic.
As with other NVX products, you get very high quality gear without paying extra for the name. Highly recommended.

i have owned many subs orion hcca re audio xxx alpine type r infinity perfect . i was looking for a budget sub under 180 with out the over rated power . the nvx i put it into a sealed box it plays the low bass to 10hz 20 hz is loud tears the car apart all the way up to 60hz rap hip hop .
and for rock it digs in hits that bass tight fast no distortion. use the proper rms power and you will have a loud clean sub that will last years. 1 of these is plenty loud in a car it will shake the seats glass mirrors your stomach heart . i will rate this sub perfect 5 . there are louder subs out there but who listens to spl 100% of the time ? if you want music buy this . in my opinion its a steal at this price. well built stitched leads i fit double 12gage into the connectors . played it with 900 watts full tilt ultra low bass boosted songs for about an hour its gets warm its normal but no smell of burnt coils . for spl guys look @ the cubic feet 1.75 sealed you can fit many in a back seat or 4 in the truck .

You feed these subs clean power in a solid box and be amazed. How do they sell these for so cheap? I'm buying another immediately before people catch on to this brand and the price goes up.

Got this bundled in a deal with my NVX XAD14 amp, The wire is ultra flexible and seems over sized, I used NVX brand wire ferrules for a cleaner look and good connection at all points where I would otherwise had a bare wire connection.

I really love the fuse holder, just be sure if you are installing sideways like say on a fender well you mount it with the side screws for the power wire facing where it’s easiest to access. I mounted mine to the fender with liquid nails LN-2000 and two #8 x 1/2 stainless steel screws after double checking it wouldn’t interfere with hood structure or anything else and drilling a pilot hole for the screws.

I really recommend you get the install bay firewall grommets for this size just in case, they are absolute life savers. My best option was to run powerwire though the passenger floorboards firewall and they make me confident that I will have zero water intrusion.

easily comparable to an SA-15 (sundown audio). great sound quality and response all the way down to 34 hz, gets a little sloppy after that. Definitely do not give it more than 1000 watts RMS because they honestly rated their woofer. i wish they listed the inductance of the voice coil in the specs so i can figure the impedance at any given frequency in the sub bass frequency range. 4 stars

I purchased 4 nvx vcw154 from sonic. Built a custom 4th order blow thru in my 98 single cab swb chevy. The box is 7cu sealed and 22 ported. Port is 344 square inch tuned to 44hz. I'm running 2 db drive a6 2800.1 amps which is approximately 2000w each. Subs are wired to 1ohm 2 per amp. The subs have held up for approximately 6hrs total of play time on and off for about a week now. Even though this subs are not specified by design for a 4th order they sound great in the box I built.

I bought two of these to replace three twelve inch kicker L7's and I like them much better. They hit the upper bass nicely like the kicker's did, but kills the lows far better than the kicker's could ever do. Very good frequency response, and they do handle power without ever getting stinky! I run a Alpine 2000 watt amp on them all day and they never smell, even after hours of heavy use. I got them to hit 150.1 db so yes they do get very loud depending on your box, but very nice sq as well. Ugly in my opinion but who cares really, they sound good

I did a lot of research prior to buying this kit. I also bought 20 ft extra of NVX 1/0 to do the big 3 upgrade. Considered GP or one of the other well known competition audio businesses but couldn’t pass this up for the price during Black Friday. The quality of the wire is great and even the fuse in the amp kit seems like decent quality. Having no issues sending power to my amp (Kicker CXA1200.1) and get very little gauge dimming on a stock battery and alternator. I know when I upgrade my system to something bigger it’ll handle it no problem too.

High quality wiring kit!

I received this kit for free, it was a promotion with the purchase of an Audiocontrol LC-5.1300 amplifier. It is my first time dealing with NVX power wire. The kit is of very high quality, from the power and speaker wiring itself, to the pre-installed nylon mesh, power connections, and the fuse holder. This kit makes wiring easy and straight forward. It’s easy to see that there was some good effort placed on the placement of all the pieces along the wire run. Another positive is that the wire fits easily into 0-gauge connections. In the past, it could be very frustrating dealing with wire that was bigger than spec. I get the whole “you’re getting more”, but I’d rather have a wire that meets the spec or maybe a little over, but not so much that it takes away from easily fitting into the connections. From this point on, I’m sold on NVX power wire. I will be looking at them for sure for my future builds.

Side note. I did not use the RCA’s, so I can’t comment on them, but seeing the quality of the kit itself, I wouldn’t be worried about using them.

This amp has delivered well. Paired with two VCW 122v3s. Boy does it slam. It replaced a Hifonics HPX1200.1D which was powering one VCW 122 at one ohm.
