Works Great

Wired this into my Jeep Wrangler TJ after replacing blown stock sub and adding an amp. The wiring was simple and works great. Would definately buy this again.

Perfect answer to OEM equipment

This product is the perfect alternative to OEM products without RCA terminals. The quality of sound and the ease of installation are second to none. The price is without question the best, and when paired with the quality you get is simply amazing!!! I recommend this product without any reservation.

Don't use out of phase

My Kenwood amp wouldn't turn off so I had to buy something that would make it turn off. At first after installing, which because I already had taps in, I tried retuning the amp. I ignored the adjustments on the LOC and focused on the amp. I used a 75Hz "loudness" test to check the phase for the sub. One slight problem with this LOC that I found out later, my subwoofer shook the speakers enough to show up in the LOC. It created an echo that made the bass muddy, mainly on a bass drum. DJ tones seemed fine. If it sounds muddy, change the phase and test it again. Louder doesn't mean it sounds better.

The main reason I bought PAC, they're the ONLY company saying what their distortion is. I want my car to sound like when the music was mastered.

It works nice, but not the best for bass.

I tried using this for a low pass just for bass, but it didnt work as well as i was expecting. The bass was droning and very muddy sounding. It never hit hard and it didn't turn up with the other speakers. i switched it out for a Re-Q5. For mids and highs this would be good, I did use it as a high pass on my home theatre for a bit, worked well.

Amazing Value

This makes it so nice to add an amplifier on to a factory system without having to replace the head unit. Some of these newer rigs make it nearly impossible to even pull the head unit out of the dash to expose the wiring, so being able to pull a signal off of the rear door speakers of my Chevy pickup was a huge advantage, not to mention the fact that this device is smart enough to use the voltage from the factory speaker to act as a remote turn on for the new amp.

One little quirk to be aware of.... when you open the doors for any reason, the air pressure inside the vehicle will move the cone of the speakers causing a small amount of electrical current at the voice coil. This device will detect that current and auto turn-on your amplifier (thinking that the speakers were turned on). Don't worry though, after it sees that the voltage isn't constant, it will turn your amplifier back off within a minute or so.

pros:converts the high level to low level
Allows you to use a amp on stock headunit

Great Product!

Just used this to install an amplifier and subwoofer in my car because it has a stock stereo and head unit, so I needed this to hook it up and it worked and has worked great for half a year! Great product! Only problem was that there was small amount of instruction, but it worked out fine.

1 year passed and still running

I bought this thing a while ago and it was very simple to install and use.. I didn't wanna get an aftermarket deck and so this was my only solution at the time.. Fortunately I've saved up some money and I'm gonna buy a Line Driver that has a LOC built in so we'll see how that goes.. But this is great for whoever wants to install an amp without having to buy an aftermarket deck for the RCAs

Perfect

Very pleased with this line output converter, it allowed me to keep my stock 6 disc changer and still have great sound quality. This is cheaper and easier to install than an after market head unit. Install shouldn't take any more than 20 mins. Buy it!

For those who want to keep oem stereo

Product was easy to install. Worked well for those who want to keep oem stereo. I would rather install an aftermarket stereo. But if you would rather keep oem i would highly recommend this product.

2010 Tundra DC

I used this with the stock head unit in my truck. Worked well to get my kicker amp and sub going. Spliced into rear speaker wires, made for an easy great sounding setup.

It works

I had this professionally installed in my 2010 Subaru Legacy with Harman Kardon audio (non-nav). It works, not much else to say. My sub sounds great and this unit was priced well!

Got the Job DONE

His product did as required and has not failed me yet nor do I expect it do. I chose this product after searching around on the internet and visiting competing websites. The sound is good that i get from it and there is no loss of quality from it.

Great Product

This was my first time installing a aftermarket subwoofer to a stock head unit. I searched for what was needed for the install and I decided to go with Pac. Installation was easy and it sounds great. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to improve the sound quality of their stock head unit.

Good product at a great price

I purchased this line out converter to put an amplifier into my car, without the hassle of a new stereo and running a mess of wires. I installed the converter in my truck and wired it to my factory speakers. It was simple and the sound was better than expected. I especially enjoyed the integrated remote power wire, allowing my amp to turn on and off with my stereo, without running extra wires.

I was disappointed in the integrity of the switch on the device. It serves to switch between RCA cable and wire inputs, in theory. I'm not sure what it actually did, but it would disconnect my audio at times, requiring my to tap on it, like an old television. I hope, for others who need this, the problem was unique to my experience.

Aside from the snag with the switch, this was a great device and a great price. Sonic did great to serve me, as well.

Great product!

Easy install, works great couldn't be happier. Been using it for six months. It made it through the hot summer in my trunk with no problems use it everyday. Definitely worth a little extra for the remote switch.

Just what i needed

This LOC is awesome. Installed in my 2006 accord. Stock radio could not be removed in this car due to climate control. powered the pac soem-t with my capacitor in the trunk and tapped into the rear speakers to get rca's from the converter and could not be happier with the sound of my alpine amp and sub. love that u tap into speakers and dont lose sound or power but gain a signal for amps. plus the pac has an amp turn on so no need to run any wires to your amp from the front of the car except of course the +12v batt wire. AAA++++++

PAC SOEM-T works great!

I purchased this for my 2004 Jetta with the Monsoon system and it works great. i installed in the trunk and it came with enough cable to run the iPod end all the way to the front and behind the deck. Seamless integration with the steering wheel control.

excellent

I highly recommend to those like me who may need to patch into OEM factory speaker wiring to add an aftermarket amplifier to their car or truck. I was able to patch into the rear speakers and hide the unit on the underside of my rear deck to add a 12" sub to an amp.

Works as it should

This product has worked flawlessly for a large setup i have running off the factory system. The signal is clear and does not muffle like some line out converters i have heard. After some use however the cheap plastic covering cracked and broke which was disappointing. Still a great product for the money and i highly recommend it .
