Perfect answer to OEM equipment

This product is the perfect alternative to OEM products without RCA terminals. The quality of sound and the ease of installation are second to none. The price is without question the best, and when paired with the quality you get is simply amazing!!! I recommend this product without any reservation.

Works Great

Wired this into my Jeep Wrangler TJ after replacing blown stock sub and adding an amp. The wiring was simple and works great. Would definately buy this again.

It works nice, but not the best for bass.

I tried using this for a low pass just for bass, but it didnt work as well as i was expecting. The bass was droning and very muddy sounding. It never hit hard and it didn't turn up with the other speakers. i switched it out for a Re-Q5. For mids and highs this would be good, I did use it as a high pass on my home theatre for a bit, worked well.

I would recommend this product to friends if they wanted to keep the oem headunit,
pros:converts the high level to low level
Allows you to use a amp on stock headunit
Cons: the top wont stay on it
Stopped working correctly,maybe my falut

Don't use out of phase

My Kenwood amp wouldn't turn off so I had to buy something that would make it turn off. At first after installing, which because I already had taps in, I tried retuning the amp. I ignored the adjustments on the LOC and focused on the amp. I used a 75Hz "loudness" test to check the phase for the sub. One slight problem with this LOC that I found out later, my subwoofer shook the speakers enough to show up in the LOC. It created an echo that made the bass muddy, mainly on a bass drum. DJ tones seemed fine. If it sounds muddy, change the phase and test it again. Louder doesn't mean it sounds better.

The main reason I bought PAC, they're the ONLY company saying what their distortion is. I want my car to sound like when the music was mastered.

Amazing Value

This makes it so nice to add an amplifier on to a factory system without having to replace the head unit. Some of these newer rigs make it nearly impossible to even pull the head unit out of the dash to expose the wiring, so being able to pull a signal off of the rear door speakers of my Chevy pickup was a huge advantage, not to mention the fact that this device is smart enough to use the voltage from the factory speaker to act as a remote turn on for the new amp.

One little quirk to be aware of.... when you open the doors for any reason, the air pressure inside the vehicle will move the cone of the speakers causing a small amount of electrical current at the voice coil. This device will detect that current and auto turn-on your amplifier (thinking that the speakers were turned on). Don't worry though, after it sees that the voltage isn't constant, it will turn your amplifier back off within a minute or so.

1 year passed and still running

I bought this thing a while ago and it was very simple to install and use.. I didn't wanna get an aftermarket deck and so this was my only solution at the time.. Fortunately I've saved up some money and I'm gonna buy a Line Driver that has a LOC built in so we'll see how that goes.. But this is great for whoever wants to install an amp without having to buy an aftermarket deck for the RCAs

Great Product!

Just used this to install an amplifier and subwoofer in my car because it has a stock stereo and head unit, so I needed this to hook it up and it worked and has worked great for half a year! Great product! Only problem was that there was small amount of instruction, but it worked out fine.
