Great Door Speakers For Price

I just about two of these door speakers to replace my other aftermarket speakers. These things scream, but the only thing I don't like about them is that 25 watts rms is a little scrawny especially when you have your whole system on a amplifier. Just be careful when you are powering these speakers........when/ if these door speakers go out I plan on sticking to the Pioneer name brand.

**NOTE FROM ADMIN: These speakers are indeed are rated at lower RMS power and are not recommended to be amplified. They are mainly intended to be ran off head unit power, not an external amp.**

Made in Vietnam

These speakers remind me of most entry level pioneer speakers I have ever heard. The midrange bit pinched and the treble can get a bit fatiguing after a while. But overall, it sounds sufficient, and I think most people would be pleased with speakers like this. I don't feel like these speakers are going to blow 2 weeks after installing them, and they sound great on my Clarion CZ100 head unit without an amp. Yeah, personally I think they could use a bit more soul in the midrange, but for this price, I'm not complaining. This is a very competent speaker, and I am happy with it overall. If you are an audiophile and demand that your speakers sing you lullabies to put your babies to sleep, or envelope you in a world of warmth, I would probably look for something else.

94 lebaron

i have 4 of these in my '94 LeBaron with the deh400ub head unit and they sound great. Amazing mids and highs. I love the look of them, and they are a great deal too. My dad's Orion 5.25's are no match for these. These are the best I've ever owned;
I just wish the tweeter would twist or aim up which is why i gave features a 3.

Great Sounding Speakers!

I have tow of these in my front doors, and two of the 6 1/2" in my rear deck. They sound awesome! Even at the highest volumes, there is no distortion, and the sound quality stays constant. These speakers are the best I've had! The bass is a little lacking, but since most people have a sub or two, that shouldn't matter too much. Would recommend to anyone!
