Not used to a 10 that will hit a decent low!

Im running it solo in a custom fiberglass box around 0.75-0.82 and it hits a clean 25hz! I think its getting somewhere around 250rms 900w max its hard to judge a class D @ 2 ohms. Im just happy when it knocks the congestion outta my chest and does it without a load of cone distortion. I'd buy another one if I had the money free'd up!

Nice Sub

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

I bought this sub for my jeep wrangler and really wasn't expecting much at all, as a matter of fact is was a temporary sub that I only had in to keep my whole system together, but I was rather impressed. It puts out a good amount of punch especially in something with limited room like a jeep. If you're looking for something that won't ruin your car while you run it, then this is your guy. It's got a good hard thump that will leave you feeling pretty satisfied.

nice sub value

I have mine in a .75 cu ft box w/ polyfill driven w/ 220w rms and it provides good thump without distortion.

Nice Sub

Awesome sound in a small package! Mounting depth is a huge plus for tight areas.

Great all around sound

I have two of these hooked up to my kicker amp and in a sealed box and they rock. They hit hard to any music and at the price they are great for any system your building. They will make your eyes shake.

Best 10's for the money

I have 3 of these, hooked up to a 300w alpine amp and a 600w sony amp. They seem to made out of great material & the magnet on this sub is huge for a 10. Seriously these things thump, you can hear me from at least 3 street away. The only personal con that i have with them is the outer rim of the woofer. I think it should be removable. My box hold 3 10's and i have to kinda squeeze them in. But besides that their amazing.

Great Sub For the Price

i bought this sub and have it in my f 150 it sounds really great and hits the only thing about them is that if there is to big of a box they rattle. just use the size of box that they recommend.

pioneer

This sub was good while it lasted... it hit hard played lows and highs good till it blew. definately wouldn't recommend giving it more than 500 watts.

For being 10's, they hit.

Bought 2 and placed them in a sealed box, was only giving them 50 watts each. but they still sounded great and hit the lows just fine. bought 2 more and going to use all four with their RMS power as soon as I get some funds. I tried to use them in a ported box, but to me it sounded like crap. Don't recommend a ported setup.

big improvement

i don't know what pioneer did to this model but they sound a great deal better than the older version of these speakers. Pioneer is a great brand that will last a long time.

Not Bad

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

Great sub for the little money you pay. It was my first sub and for a 10" it does pretty good. I ran it with a bazooka amp that pushed 100 watts a 4ohms and it did really good. In my opinion its the best sub out there for the money.

great value

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

these things really seem to handle well no matter what type of music I play very deep sound with quality. I would recomend this product.

Good Value!

These subs really beat in a low powered system. They're rated at 200RMS,but I had 150RMS running to each, and it's all they could do to take it. These subs distort easier than I like. These subs are great for some low powered beat, but if you want something that can take some heat, without the distortion, for the money, Sony xplod 10s are better.

Price to Quality Rate

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

i have 2 of these in a ported box powered by a pioneer g5300t amp. the amp pushes them at 125x2 at 4 in a 98 cherokee. i would definately recommend this subs to anyone who wants to hit nicely on a budget. these subs will shake my rearview mirror a little. they can rattle parts of my house when im parked in front of it. GET EM

Complete Waste of money

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

I own 2 of these pioneer subwoofers and i think that they are not worth the money. I had them hooked up to a 500 watt crunch amplifier and they still did not hit as much as i wanted them to. The service from soniceletronix was good and fast shipping, but the product was not what i expected. basically, you get what you paid for.

Amatuer Sub

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

Excellent price for a great brand! If your looking to add some extra bump in your vehicle, this Pioneer sub if for you. I did end up blowing my first set of these though. Theyre estimated at 120 RMS, I wash pushing 300 RMS to them with my power acoustik 980watt max amp, of course they gave out after 8 days. I put another pair in, and its been about 6 months with 350 RMS going to them, and theyre going, but I can tell its only a matter of time. Id recommend this sub along with the Pioneer 760 watt amp, its pretty much designed for it.

Nice Sub

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

This sub hits nice if your a beginner. I got one of these with another pioneer and a 760 amp. they hit good for 10's especially with only 120w RMS. they also fit nice and snug in a truck box. good starting sub. I would recommend to a beginner for the low price.

Great Value!

It's a good buy for the money. Good sub for BASS, I used a 800w boss amp for my sub.

Good starter level sub.

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

I have this sub in a pre-fab box hooked up to an Alpine MRP-T220 that puts out 140 RMS. It puts out nice clean bass and shakes my rear view mirror but it is nothing ground shaking. This is a good inexpensive sub if you just want to get some bump in your system without breaking the bank. Its been going strong for a few months now.

great pioneers

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

i bought a pair of these for one of my customers and we put them in a custom box in his civic with one pioneer amp and it sounded great

Good Bass

Despite the cheesy plastic back covering, once the speaker is mounted properly in the box it sounds simply amazing. A 10 inch speaker with 1000 Watt rating at this price is rarely found.

Awesome

I bought this woofer because i have a 18" kicker 07s18x4 hooked up to a kicker warhorse amp and with my son just being born i cant have the music loud and i need more space in the back of my 09 Honda. Anyways, don't be fooled by the size of this speaker it hits more like a 12" not a 10" over all great sound, sexy look and great price. Would definitely recommend this woofer. However I've only had it for 1 month so i cant really rate durability.

Great for the price

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W252R).

I would recommend this subwoofer to a beginner in car stereo work. It adds the extra depth that makes music sound great, while still being extremely affordable and reliable. I am impressed with this product. I would recommend that more serious users would look to a more upscale product, though, because it does have a tendency to become distorted at higher volumes.

Value!

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W251R).

Lol again I got ripped off on this one.. I bought it for 60$.. but still no complaints, this little "10" can bump, and can hit every low note you throw out... without distorting :D

Very nice for the Price.

These subs sound very good for the price, they can keep the walls moving from the very low bass for being 10's.

great bang for buck

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W250R).

These are definitely the best subs you can get for the money. I'm pushing each to the maximum power, 500 watts each, and they sound great. If you need budget subs that hit hard, I recommend these!

Great Price

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W250R).

I had one of these in my S-10, gave me more than enough bass. The box was tiny, alittle less than 1cubicfoot airspace and still performed outstanding. Had it, and played it hard for nearly 2 years. Sold the truck, and let it go with the truck. But was still hitting hard up until then, and still have a lot of life left. Great Product, Great Price!

Little More Bump

This sub is nice if you just want a little bump in your car. It's great for someone who wants a nice sounding system without rattleing the vehicle beside you on the road.
