Quality Subwoofers

These Pioneer TS-W261S4 subs are well made and great speakers for the price range. I did a little research and found these to be a great value. They sound good without breaking the bank.

Shocked

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W260S4).

WOW is all I could think after listening to it the first time. I installed it in a Fiat 500 with a sealed fiberglass box and the sound that comes from it is equal to the JL 12" sub in my other vehicle.

Very Satisfied

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W260S4).

I purchased these to replace a pair of TS-W254R's. Wish I had purchased these 264's first. They sound great and are rated for another 100watts RMS which gives me a little cushion before they cook.

Great sub for the price!

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W260S4).

I purchased this subwoofer to replace a JL audio wx series 10. This pioneer is amazing in an enclosed box. Im using a 1600w Autotek mm amplifier at 800w rms . I broke the subwoofer in for about 2 weeks and only have the amp half way up and the spl is fantastic which I am huge on. I would definitely purchase this again. Sonic is great and i received the speaker within a week of ordering it.

Great for everything. Loud bass if you want. Way better than a stock system.

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W260S4).

Get it. You will not be disappointed unless you are looking for really heavy bass.

Unbeliev

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W260S4).

I own two of these subs in a ported box in my trunk and they destroy my back they're that good. For the money, you get some really good quality subs. They look, sounds, and taste good.

Great sound for a great price

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W260S4).

This sub packs a serious punch as a single 10" package.

Good Woofer

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W260S4).

Very nice solid bass. A little too tight of a sound in a sealed enclosure of 0.75 cu feet, but can still rumble low, I'm sure it will unleash potential in a ported enclosure (which Pioneer does say is okay to do, recc. at 1.1 cubic feet). Seems to be made of mostly plastic on the entire exterior, but probably helps with the weight of it. Solid product that can kick hard and fill up my entire chevy impala.

Replace an old Blue Thunder sub, in a sealed box. Bass is tight and very clear.

It Works

I have (1) 10 in .65 cubic foot box. It is handling 350 watts rms with no trouble. I had (2) Sony 12's in a band pass box on 500 watts rms, the single 10 is not louder but sounds better. I think the old box woofer combo was not quit right for each other but the new setup sounds great.

Wow

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W260S4).

I bought three of these to put in my Chevy Avalanche to replace a pair of shallow MB Quart 10's I had under the back seat. Built a custom midgate replacement box sealed at 0.97 cubic feet per chamber and have them hooked up to an MB Quart 450 watt rms amp and WOW!!! These Pioneer subs are loud, low and hit hard. Way under powered by the way at around 150 watts each. I know the box is a big part of that. Can't wait to upgrade my amp to see how much better they'd sound. Definately recommend them and for all you Avalanche owners: ditch the shallow under the seat subs and get a midgate box. Pain in the butt but worth it if you like bass!

BUMP in the trunk!!

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W259S4).

I put two of these in my x-cab NBS Silverado and they just BUMPED! Sounded excellent!! Later I sold the truck and moved one of these subs to my Acura sedan and I was still pleased. Great low bass an response. These sound great on any type of music, especially hard rock and metal. The double bass pedals are an assault on the ears from these subs. If paired with a good amp you will be very pleased. I've had these for 6 months and I push them HARD; I blare my music. They still perform awesome. A+ to Pioneer! **Note** Highly recommend 4 gauge wiring to get the best effect. I started with 8 an switched to 4, world of difference.

Pioneer TS-W259S4

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W259S4).

This is an Excellent Sub-Woofer! I have a Dual Woofer Sealed Box setup and I have these woofers wires down to 2 ohm. They are powered by an Infinity Kappa 5 Amplifier. The sound quality is Excellent! They will reproduce the very subtle bass tones at low volume, to very hard hitting bass and drum tones at very high volume. I would highly recommend this Sub-Woofer for anyone looking to get great sound at a very reasonable price!

Good subwoofer

They are performing better than I expected, they replaced a set of rockford fosgate XLC subwoofers, so now my whole truck has all Pioneer speakers and head unit. Rock on!!

By Monte on May 26, 2017

Well design. And great price

Speaker looks well-built. Hits high and gets low for a 10. Surprise how low on this speaker.would recommend anybody for it.

By Ron on February 6, 2017

Still Great

I bought my amp from you too... Between the 500 watt Pioneer amp and this 10 " sub, it sounds great!

By Moose on October 31, 2016

Good Value at a reasonable cost

I have always been a fan of Pioneer subs because they require low wattage and give maximum sensitivity, which means less watts to sound loud. Most people dog on Pioneer, but I have had great success with them as long as you have them in the right box.

Great bang for your buck! And dropping them down to a 2 Ohm load doesn't phase them at all. These are great little subs for a great price.

By 323tech on October 29, 2016

Nice lil subwoofer!

I was looking to add better overall sound to my car. This 10" sub is more powerful than I expected. I have it bridged to a kicker 300 watt amp. It's enough to shake my mirrors. Gets deep lows and I don't even have it in a big box, just using a truck box to have more space.

By Jbags on September 9, 2016

Great "Bang" FOR THE BUCK

Hits hard doesn't require alot of power would recommend for someone on a budget

By Cody on July 10, 2016 Checkmark Icon Verified purchase

Worth it

Awesome sound, only have one in my hatchback and it's more then enough with my 1000 watt amp

U get what u pay for

I purchased 2 of these from Sonic during the Black Friday sale for 100 bucks. They arrived really fast. These were to be my winter subs. I installed them in a slot port enclosure, 1.3 cubes each tuned to 40hz. on a Kicker Zx750.1 amplifier. I was suprised with how bad the sound quality of these subs were. I chose these because I have to 12 inch Pioneer TS-W3003D4 subs and they sound very good and very musical. These 10's, not so much. I wish I would have purchased the Alpine type A 10's over these now. Very disapointed in this Pioneer product.
