Great amp!

Bought this amp (PA400) to match the polk dxi 12" dual voice coil sub. Built custom enclosure based on polk's specs and wired to 2 ohms and can't believe how good it sounds. Just one sub and it has clean, tight and thunderous bass reproduction no matter what music i listen to at all volume levels. For the money, I have never heard anything that comes close to this. Great job Polk Audio!!!

Perfect, perfect, ...

Compact amplifier PA400.1 is perfect solution in this category. I listen only music in my car. I am not "alegoric car" from Rio de Janeiro!

Looking 4 a 1 ohm stable amp?

Looking for a one ohm stable amp. 400watts rms @ 1 ohm for my JBL 12" power series (Block-beater BTW! :) This amp is a perfect match. POLK Audio is #1 next to JL, Crossfire, JBL, MTX, Sundown, Audioque, Digital Designs, RE Audio, and such. Can't go wrong never overheats Clean power all the time.

good amp

Good amp works great not many problems yet and ive owned it for about 7 months. Ive got it in a crown vic police interceptor powering a pair of kicker L3 12's and feeding it with signal is a Kenwood KDC-HD548U. Sound is great. However on the head unit the volume rang is 0 - 35 and it sounds best up to 27 but when i play a song with loads of bass and i turn it up to around 32 the amp turns off and i have to turn it back down and wait around a minute or turn the headunit off and back on again not sure if thats the headunit or the amp. Other than that the amp is great also keep in mind that different amps reproduce bass in different ranges better than others like in this set up the mid and higher bass is loud and clear but you get around the subsonic range and then it seams like its struggling to reproduce the bass.
