Good amp for price.

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

This amp puts out what I need it to, I've got it hooked up to an Orion hcca 10-4 and it's using only half of what the amp can put out. It's only gotten warm once in the month I've owned it you'll need some space for it though, its about 18" by 12", very good for the person who needs high power but doesn't want to break the bank.

Very affordable amp if you want to save money

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

Very good amplifier, playing as good as an amplifier for 7-8000kr recommend this step if you are to drive 2 x 12, but it is possible to drive 4 x 12 with no problems at home in Sweden so would this amplifier have cost approximately $ 2,500

great amp for the money

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

I had this amp on 2 power acoustik mofo's and it ran all day long. The only thing i can say is have it mounted away from the sun. i had in on top of my sub box at first and it got so hot out that the amp went right into protect mode. I remounted it in my spare tire well and never had a problem.

Good Amp

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

I had the gt1-4500d gothic amp pushing 4 L7 12' with 5 battery's in a s10 it was loud real loud upgrading to GT1-6000D going to see if it better then posting a video on it but nothing compares to the old school power acoustic 3000.1 D that was a bad amp

huge bang for your buck

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

I put this amp on my 2 mofo 12's and it beats the hell out of themi have evything in a little mazda and friends have said they sometime can hear me from up to a half mile away I would recommend this amp to anyone who wants that intents brain rattling bass the only down side I have seem with it is it pulls a lot of juice from the battery I have two and after a few songs it looses some intensity due to the draw off the batteries but within a few mins of having it turned down its right back to beating like new greatamp for the money

Very good buy

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

This is the best amp I have ever owned for 200 dollars. I have it hooked up to four kicker cvr 10's in a vented box that I made. It will make the windshield wipers bounce off the windshield, have two CVR's share one vented port.

power acoustik gt1-6000D

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

One of the best bump for your money out there on the market right now. Give it the power it needs and asks for and it will play for hours on end. It plays at the watts advertised, is it a true 6k watts, I'm not sure but my mofo 15s call for 1500 watts rms per subwoofer. I have 2 of them playing on it at 1ohm With 0 gauge wire feeding it with a mechman alternator to keep the batteries juiced. Amp doesn't get hot and plays at loud volumes for long periods of time. I love my amps.

great amp for the price!

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

It has no where near 6000watts. Do your rough fuse math. This amp puts out probably about 1700watts rms. Possibly more. Have it pushing two db k5 12's and cant turn it up alk the way.

Great Value

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

Just placed the order for the GT1-6000D. Its got a great price for such awesome spec's. Even tho I relize its not CEA compliant so who knows what voltage the RMS ratings were recorded at but to find an amp with these specs that's CEA compliant u will spend a lot of money easily. I'm having to bump on a budget. If u want some power & are on a budget this seems to be the amp.

Power Acoustik GT1-6000D

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

grate amp wired sub's to 1 ohm pair old rockford fosgates T1 powerd 12" subs

pros.
amp is 1 ohm stable
has lots of power for the price
easy to uses
make my mirrors flap like a bird:P

cons
power wire max is 4 Gage cant run my 1/0 power /ground so need a 1/0 to 4 Gage fuse box no problem just inconvenience.

Good for the money

I bought the amp out of curiosity after seeing an amp dyno video revealing that the 10000 W version was a soundstream tarantula board, after receiving the 7000 W version I opened to see the board and discovered it was the tarantula TA 4000 amplifier board so it appears the whole edge line is the same as the sound stream tarantula line. They are good amps and I was very pleased after finding that out.

My take

The following review is for a previous version (GT1-6000D).

overall this amp puts out power, im not certain exactly how much i do not trust the rms rating but it can make my voltage drop even with my big 3 upgrade installed. i would recommend this as an entry level amp, probably put 3/4 the power rated
