Great subs

I have 2 of these subs in my 98 dodge ram 2500 v8 and man it pounds hard and load I love them I've had them for almost 1 year now and they sound like new still . Friends & family say they can hear me 2 blocks away . When I'm in at of my house my livingroom windows shake .

good

I had these for three months now on a Lanzar OPTI2001D and still going strong they are in a sealed probox with upgraded alternator and one kinetics battery so they are getting the full 2000 RMS at 0 .5 ohm

UnC of Virginias Finest Auto Club

For every day play and bass yes!! you can comp them but I wouldn't advise not really great SPL speakers even tough they are built like them Get the MOFO's if that's the case.

not bad

after only three days both dust caps came off but other than that its a good speaker. It also is free air capable so if that's something you are looking for then give them a try.

Great subs, great value.

Matched them with the 2700 watt Power Acoustik mono block. Solid, clean bass. No complaints.

excellent

Been using two of these for a month now on a kicker 750.1 at 2 ohm and they get pretty deep I have them in a ported box. Was a little unsure about buying them but when I seen they were a little cheaper than than power acoustic MOFO twelves I figured I would give them a try the only down side is I always take my box in and out of my trunk for the room and they are pretty heavy speakers but other than that very much worth the price for the power they can take.

Great bass

I use this 12 with my Hifonics ZRX amp and it hits. The lows are impecabble, the highs are brutal. Perfect in a sealed box. Sounds good with all types of music with the right EQ settings. Would buy again!

killer sub....sounds really good in a ported box

this speaker can handle a bit of power..i must say....it has been taking at least probably 900 watts from my monoblock hifonics zues series amp....the speaker is moiunted in a 1.75 cf t-line vented slot ported box.......the combo works exceptionally well for rock and metal..i listen to alot of Tool, rage against the machine and godsmsmack.....it wont make my roof do the wave or anything like that but when the volume is only up at around 15 on my pioneer dvd double din head unit....u can feel your hair move with every bass hit and the rear view mirror becomes s bit blurry to see who or what is behind u;;;;;i got it mounted in the trunk oi my 99 saturn sedan and usually i have one half of the fold down back seat down......it has put out a bic lighter on certain bass heavy songs when the headunit was turned up to around 25-ish.........i had a mofo for a little while on the same amp but the damn things cone came unglued from itself and started to make a cluncking noise when it hit////so i replaced it with the gothic and it has held up to everything i could tjhrow at it so far......even the mofo couldn't hold upthat kind of abuse.. altho i noticed one day that i could smell the voice coils getting warmer than they should be getting, so i would turn down the volume a bit and let it cool down....but it really only happened a few times when the sub was fairly new-ish......it hasn't done it since then ever again...so..in conclusion...i am quite satisfied with the speaker in a t-line vented box at a 1 ohm load,,,it hits really hard when Tool, or Rage Against th Machine, or Godsmack or Disturbed . is being played ...when i listen to Korn the bass is often too much and i have to turn down the bass gain on the remote gizmo that hooks to the sub amp....over all the 500 watt rms 4 channel amp running 2 lanzar mid bass woofers mounted on the rear deck and a renegade componant speaker setup in the front doors.and the 1200 watt rms sub amp and the gothic woofer has a clean , balanced sound that is perfect for my little plastic saturn sedan.....for now....i have probably maybe 600 bux into the whole sound package and it sounds like a 1500 $ system.....i would highly recommend this sub to compliment any audio system....luv it and can't say enuff about it

Awesome subs

I bought 2 of these subs because the price was right. I built a box and put them in a 98 4 door Blazer. Now you can hear me beating down the street from 5 blocks away. Thinking about building a box for 4. subs and get two more.

Hits hard

Bought this speaker after blowing my Kenwood because I needed more RMS and it sounds much better than the 400 RMS Kenwood only problem now is I have to get a bigger amp to push this 1250 RMS monster.if you are on budget this is speaker for you or for about 60$ more you can get the Alpine with close to same RMS and is awesome

Decent sub

I have now had this subwoofer for 3 months. I can say that it has performed well. I had it running @ 350w rms. I never put anything more into it because of my amplifier. I am now upgrading to 2 12 inch fosgates for some more bass, also getting a hifonics mono block. Anyways, this sub thumps. Even at only 350w rms I was shaking my whole car with the volume about 1/2 up. At 3/4 my mirrors would start to shake. I like this sub alot, and it has a great construction. I don't like that it is made for sealed enclosures, but I could live with it. Good sub.

Horrible Experience

Subwoofer is rated at 1200 RMS. My amplifier is rated at the same 1200 RMS. To break in the sub I turned down the gain to less than half and kept the subwoofer level at minimum for a little over a week before I gradually started to turn up the level on my eq. The sub sounded amazing for the short time I had it, but it ended up blowing 10 days after receiving it. Definitely did not expect that to happen so easily to a sub like this.

Great sound

This sub really sounds good. The lows are deep crisp and clean. I have it installed in a 1.8 cu ft airspace box with the walls lined with polyfill for the price it 's very hard to beat. Very happy with the purchase and sound quality of this sub.
