beast

I have had one of these amps for years now and not talking 1 or 2. But this amp has pushed my 2 12's L5 solo baric's for about a year now im pushing a four pack of jbl gtos. What some fail to notice is change out your factory wires if ur not at least 13.5v you cant blame any amp or speaker. I take a lot of road trips and play my music for hours selenium horns 4 pack of 12's..I'M LOUD going to get 2 ovn1-5500D next and rock a 4 pack of mofo's cause I LOVE POWER ACOUSTIK....GOTHIC AMPS

Great Amplifier

This amp was put to 2 15" Mb Quart rated 700rms each. I was kinda worried at first when we first hooked everything up but then once my speakers broke in this sucker gave it all the power and then some. Hit 145db in competition so yeah that shows this amp is no joke. Nice price and design. A must have!!!

TRUE POWER

I bought this amp from here bout a year ago. all I can say is it really is the best buy up here for the price. I had 2 Diamond d3 15's runnin at 1 ohm with this amp and OMG I bout had a heart attack in my car. Had the box tuned at 28hz and the amp never ran hot, I only turned the gain up to 1/4 of the way and my subs would maxout with like almost 3 inch excursion it was pretty amazing. All I can say is with the price of this amp and quality I highly recommend this product.

Make sure u have plenty of battery power for this amp and maybe an alternator upgrade, because without the right amount of amperage and voltage its not gonna push ur subs like u want it to. Just use ohms law and the PIE formula (for wattage) when figuring out the best way to set up ur system!

NO THANKS!!!

This is supposed to be 3000 watts?! Ha!!! I had it hooked up to the older model Rockford P3. A 500 watt rms sub. Literally had smoke coming from this amp only 4 days later!!!! All my wires are professionally installed and never had this problem with previous amps. I have a kicker 400.1 hooked up to it now and it bumps harder. Do not recomend this amp to anyone!!!! Save an extra 100 bucks and buy a name brand amp. Do yourself a favor!!!

Bad Amp

I would only recommend this amp if you are using it to power a Power Acoustik Mofo sub. Other than that, I would not recommend it at all. It claims to push 900 watts @ 4 ohms and 1300 watts @ 2 ohms but it really only pushes less than 500 watts @ 4 ohms and about 700 @ 2 ohms.
It was pushing 2 10" type-r subs but burned up after a few months of playing. There was a 4 gauge wire to it, it was wired correctly and it was almost always played while the car was running. It would become warm after long periods of playing, but never hot to the touch. At the time I got it, I didn't know that the specs on the amp were incorrect.

Pros: nice blue led, looked nice, never became hot
Cons: incorrect watt ratings, not durable.

It's okay....

For the money you really cant beat it. But you get wat u pay for. I have 2 rockford p3 12s. Shallow mount subs in my dodge quad cab. There hooked up 4 ohm. I started off tuning the amp and the gain was turned down pretty low but they werent hitting hard. So i turned it up and up til it was up all the way (3000 watt amp turned up all the way on 2 12s? Hmm) but anyways they sound alright and hit decent. But if i were to do it again id spend the extra money and get an amp with a more popular name on it. Iv had a 750 watt monoblock hooked up to them before and they hit harder. Not very good quality amp.....

Great product for the money!

Good quality amp, nice case, the knobs are a rather frail though so be delicate while making adjustments. That's my only complaint. The inefficiency is about average, the claimed 1200w RMS at 2 ohm's seems a little optimistic but it pushes my two Audiobahn AW121T's (1100w RMS) very nicely with putting too much strain on them. It does get a bit warm, but proper ventillation takes care of that. Overall a great product, especially for the price point.

Very solid budget amplifier

this amp has very good features like a wired bass knob, master and slave connections, preouts, all sorts of little gadgets that are up to date. The only problem i could find with this amplifier is that it is a little over rated.... but the amplifier does give out good power levels.

Good until it stoped working

I admit it worked wonderfully with my 15inch type R, but one day inbetween changing songs it stopped working when I checked it out everything in my setup said it was ok and in working condition so I tested everything and the amp is what gave out, but here is the weird thing the power comes on for it and the protetion light is green, so i took it apart to see if something was loose and it looked like everything was ok, no loose wires or missing parts. i would not recomend this amp it was only a month old when it gave out... and yes i checked all the speaker terminals for anyone thinking i may have missed something.

Great Bargain Amp

This amp is hooked up to 1 12" Type X and it powers it very well, and has all the features you need to create a truly custom output. The only thing i think might be wrong is the power ratings, not by much but maybe by about 50watts rms, but other then that its a perfectly fine and affordable amp!

Great Amplifier

I've owned this amplifier for almost 2 years now, and havent had a single problem with it yet. Was hooked up to a 12" Alpine Type X and moved that thing with no problem wired at 2ohms. I've recently sold that sub and picked a pair of 10" Phoenix Gold Octanes for cheap, and wired them down to 1.5ohms with box rise, and it still moves those two subs with power and without a problem. Don't know how the others fried their amps! But i have a feeling they could have used the gain as a volume knob, and thats an easy way to kill your amp fast. Definitely not a $1,000 alpine or amp, but a great substitute for a great price.

Good...

This amp is good. Although it does get hot, it doesn't seem to hurt the power. I think the 3000 watt or even the RMS power isn't true. I have two Alpine Type R subs hooked to this amp and they could be pushed harder. This amp does push great power though, definately beats everyones system that i know, no doubt. Good buy for the price.
