Huge Bang for the Buck!

For my system, I used 4 PA FUBR 12s and ran them with a US amps 400x (rated at 1500 watts x1) anyone who knows US amps knows they are underrated and extremely good amps. But the US amps is a class A/B and the problem was it drew so much power for how little sound I got out. I could never push my 12s the way I wanted to. So I decided to get 4 of these amps from Power Acoustik. Let me just tell you this, so far I've only hooked up 2 and I really should've saved my money because 2 would've been plenty!!! My system is SO much louder now and draws WAY less power. These amps are crazy efficient! put it this way, before, a 30hz test tone at 120 db was drawing 55 amps with the US amps amplifier. Now that same 120 db at 30hz draws under 10 amps! HUGE difference!
Only thing I'd warn you about with this amp is DO NOT use the "master/slave" option. the output levels are not the same from one amp to another (2 whole DB!) and the phase is over 20 degrees off!! if you dont know what that means its a very bad thing when running multiple subs and amps trust me! just use Y adapters and set the gains yourself.
Other than that, GREAT AMP!!!

I would not recommend this amp because, it burnt out 2 months after installation. I sent it back & it was replaced & it went out 2 weeks after installation.

Great Amp

I had this amp with an Planet audio 10 farad Cap running two 12" alpine type R's in a big ported box at half gain. They were pounding but turned the gain to about 3/4 and sounded super crisp and clean hard hitting highs mids and lows. But the best part is that this amp blew both of my woofers. I always underrated the amp but now I'm a true believer.

I wouldn't recommend this amp because its over rated. I used this to power my two 12 inch kicker L7s i could smell this thing cooking then it over heated so i tried one sub and it pounded pretty good. Then it just burns out didnt even blow the fuses i guess if your gonna get top of the line subs might as well get a good amp too.

High Quality Amplifier...

Very powerful amplifier at a very reasonable price. Even at high volume levels, this amplifier only gets slightly warm to the touch. Obviously, it is quite a good looking amplifier as well. I am very satisfied with this amplifier and in all the Power Acoustik products I have purchased thus far. As always, kudos to Sonic for being the king of the car audio online world.

great amp

This amp pushes out the full power I have it running a 12 solo L5 and 2 kicker comp 15's this thing pushes them hard i haven't had any problem with it getting too hot or overheated its mounted on the backside of my trunk ive ran it for 2 hours straight and its gotten a little warm

if your buying this amp you might also wanna invest in a new or extra battery if you want to get the full watts out of it i have a SHURiKEN 2600 amp battery powering it

clean power

i loved this amp produced some nice power and totally reliable. i am running three ten inch subs 500 rms each and did it with power to spare. sonic is a great place to do business.

I have this amp pushing two 12's 1100rms to each sub. Slams very very hard. Never gets hot, and comes with bass remote. And it looks cool! Overall great amp and i am very pleased with Power Acoustik

Briefly satisfied then let down

The product worked well for two months or so. Then suddenly it began cutting out and eventually stopped working all together. I would not buy another one or even bother sending it off for repair. If you are going to spend money on an amp buy a better quality brand unless you are using low quality speakers it will probably work good for you.

nNthing but a Problem!!!

Love this amp when it works, love the looks of it, but have been through 2 of them in under a year. The amp doesn't seem to be capable of doing what it is rated to do. Sonic Electronix has been very helpful with my problems look forward to getting one that works.

This amp is well worth the price I have it powering 2 Boss Phantom subs and this amp powers them and more I have it only tuned half way up this amp is insane!!!!!! There are no cons that I have noticed and I owned this amp for over six months no over heating nothing.. Just enjoyment

I actually haven't used it yet but I have 2000 watt that work really well mso I'm sure when I get ready to install it it will work excellent.

Great amp

I have had this amp running off a kinetic power cell for a year now pounding 2 kicker CVX 12" @ 2ohm with no problems even at 4 hour run times at 75% volume it just gets warm.

alright to start with!

I had bought this amp to power my 15in cvrs and it did what I thought. Was good for about 2 or 3 months. Then it decided it wanted to smoke on me. After it went out I bought a 2100 watt brutus and the difference is insane I'm starting to smell my voice coils the brutus is putting out twice as much power as this power acoustik. I mean for a 100 extra dollars you can have an amp you can put in and never have to worry about again. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

not a bad amp

this amp is very well priced and looks awesome i hooked it up to 2 alpine type r 12 and they sounded pretty good the reason i gave it a 4 was i hooked up my old school kicker amp XS100 and needless to say the kicker pounded much harder the power acoustic is very good and sounded clean and does not hog the power it didnt even move my voltage meter but the kicker draws more power but hits much harder and it will kill your alternator overall i would recommend the power acoustic if you do not want to kill your alternator it does sound very good for the price considering i paid 1200 for the kicker so i would go with this amp budget wise it looks great and sounds good
