Poor quality

I had ordered a Kicker pk8 amplifier wiring kit and these were part of a package that only Sonic had offered. To put it shortly, one of the jacks was grounding out when I plugged it all the way in the RCA jacks in the headunit. It was causing a lot of doubts in the equipment in my system, but I got down to the root and these were the culprit. I contacted Sonic and they gladly replaced the with a set of StreetWire RCA's that worked just fine when I installed them. Thanks Sonic! But as far as these go, I wouldn't recommend them. Spend a little more and get some better ones.

I have two of these on a hifonics brx 2400 and these mfers bang. I have had 12s,15, and many other setups and none of them have even come close to the bass i get out of these things. I knocked my rearview mirror off of my windshield and still havent broken them in yet.

Suprisingly good subwoofer

Suprisingly good subwoofer. I am usually a Rockford or Kicker person but wanted to go from dual to a single 12" subwoofer for space reasons. This was at least 5x cheaper for the same or more power handling than the brands I usually look at and I have to say I am glad I bought it. Very loud for a single 12" with the proper enclosure and very powerful and hard hitting.

Good Deal

This is a good sub for the price. I dont think there is a better deal out there. I have 2 hooked up to a 1500 amp (hifonics) running at 1 ohm. Before they were broken in I could smell them burning up a little bit so id turn em down but now they run pretty good. I think the RMS on them is not something to go by, I had a 122x mofo on this amp turned about 3/4 the way up and it blew in a few weeks. I am comfortable running the pair at 1500 watts RMS. I think 1500 watts is plenty, and at that level these subs KNOCK. I turn plenty of heads. I have played them loud and for long periods of time. If your on the fence about these subs I would buy them, get a hifonics 1500 and a you will need a charging cap or extra battery. You could easily spend twice the price and not get as much of a bang.

These speakers generate killer base. Supply them with the right power & enclosure and get ready to be a amazed at the performance of these speakers. Sound deadening is highly recommended!!!!

bass stops your heart

Hits hard and loud! If you like loud lots of bass?this is the sub. I was very surprised. I have a gmc Sierra ext cab and people are shock to hear that much bass from a truck. the only complaint I had to order deep mounted sub box on line...most audio places don't have deep box in stock.

Best Subwoofer So Far!!

These are by far the best subs I've ever heard in my own car before or in anyone elses actually!! I Am running two of these babys on a "Power Acoustik Demon 6000 watt " I think this is the best amp for these subs and best subns for this amp. If you are contumplation on weather you should buy the 2 ohm or 4 ohm, I would buy the the 4ohm becuase if you are running only one of them, you can wire down to 2 ohm, and if you are running two of them, you can wire both of them down to 1 ohm, which is awesome for me because my amp is 1 ohm stable and puts out 3500 watt rms at 1ohm!! Thank you so much Sonic!! I would totally recommend these subs to everyone!!!!

Blown away

I have two of these hooked up to a Hifonics ZRX 2400.1D and they vibrate buildings with ease. I have usually ran kicker and sound stream in the past and these subs hit harder and deeper by far. I figure they handle power well because this same amp burned up one of my Soundstream Reference 1's a hour after I hooked it up. I would recommend these to anyone.

Worth every penny

I had two different setups before I bought 2 mofo 124x with a 4000 watt bamf amp, and these are by far the best I've ever owned. These things turn heads no doubt. I was shocked the day they came in, when I picked up the box with the two mofos it felt like I was carrying a load of bricks. I would highly recommend these subs to anyone looking for a lot of bang without having to spend too much money. I have the pair running at 1500 RMS and don't think i'll even waste the time turning them up because they are already tearing my car apart.

Budget Bangerrrrrrrr!

If you lookn to get just above the average sytem but still don't wanna pay sundown prices this is the sub or subs for you,i just installed mine yesterday and I am super happy with my purchase.i have them running off a hifonics brutus x14 2600.1 super class d amplifier that I also purchased from sonic.luv the amp aswell!!!I got them wired in one ohm and these things sound terrific,had plenty subs b4 ,none that hit so nice.i do have big three,extra battery ,3 farad cap all purchased thru sonic.all of that is a plus!

cool woofer

This sub hits hard, I have it on a Brutus 2000 at 2 ohms, supposedly pushin 1400 watts and it thumps hard. The back of the sub is cool looking.
The tabs that cover the screw holes on the front would be cool if they fit
perfectly, mine don't. Wish I would of got the 122x so I could get down to
one ohm and give it even more power. Anyway it's a good buy my mofo is just now getting broke in, it seems to be a thumpin beast, just remember
what brand it is and how much it costs its not a JL, Sundown, or a DD.

I bought two of these from a shop and have them on a ssl force d monoblock 3600watt amp turnd as low as it goes and i have had them for 3 weeks and have already shook my glass loss. I FREAKIN loves these things. They get good lows and very clean highs. If you have the cash get them. People say you can put them thru heck.

These subs hit hard when i first hooked them up not sure why they don't hit as hard now but they still bang...i got them hooked up to a hilfonics 1100 amp in a pro box.

I bought two power accoustics mofos 124's and hooked em up to my Audiobahn 1300 at a 1 ohm load in an absolute dual ported box and these things will make your ears bleed. I have them in my nissan king cab pickup and they r rattling basically everything loose. I keep telling my dad to switch from his rockfords but he is too stern. He thinks they are better than mine =p lol anyways i am looking to get two more along with a soundstream little wonder 5400 =)

Black&Blue Power X

Bought a pair of these subs and haven't had much playin time with them but I tried them a sealed box at 1.6cuft per chamber,with a line of polyfil with 2000watts at 1ohm and they don't sound too bad but I took the polyfil out and noticed they sound better and responded better and I did notice a. Burning smell in the box when I removed the polyfil so the next box I put them in will be 1.25cuft per chamber and I'm expecting better results,and for the price they're worth it.

Best bass for the money!!!!!

I have two of these mofos wired to 1 ohm running 2200 watts. They slam so hard in a ported box my windshield wipers bounce off my window like no tomorrow. But I would definitely recommend breaking them in before really cranking them. And I'm not too sure about 1500 watt rms per sub I'm running 1100 watt per sub and they get a little warm. Just be careful but these are great subs!!

Definate big bang for the bucks

I've owned this beast for a year now and I'd say if you want to save some money but not sacrifice big bass this subwoofer is the sub. I've had it in a spec box and people think I'm running 2 of these and are susprised when I pop the trunk and I only have 1. This sub is a bargain for sure.

Holy s*** what the heck!

If you are on a budget and you want subs that are ridiculously loud, these are the subs for you. I have two in a slot ported box powered by a Hifonics 2000d and these things slam extremely hard. I have to rev up my car when I turn them up because my car bogs down and my lights go dim. They arent even broken in yet and my amp is only turned up halfway and these things quake. I do wish they would make the wiring a little easier like the alpine type rs, but for $150 you cant get anything as good looking and as loud as these things are. I hope they hold up.

Well i still haven't actually gotten to hear these things yet. I bought a prefab box to go with them because i didn't feel like building one yet. The box i ordered broke apart within the first week. They sound like they are going to slam tho. I am actually finishing my new box today and I am really excited to hear what these things can do. but so far they seem like they great subs especially for the price

Power Acoustik MOFO-124X

I love these mofo's. I was skeptical about deciding these over the turantula t7's and the Vsw124. These were the best guy on the market for a $125 discounted subwoofer. I have no complaints, they flex, move air and sound great. I would recommend proper breaking in, and the proper box, that is CRITICAL. These are the best bang for your buck literally, plus there is an optional recone kit so you don't have to waste money buying an entirely new subwoofer.

The Best Subs!!!!

These are hands down the best subs I've ever heard personally!! I have two of these powered by a Power Acoustik Demon 6000D. They sound unbelievable. I have them wired down to 1ohm so the amp is pushing out 3500 watt RMS, which is sick... If you are debating on weather to by the 2 or 4ohm ones, i'd go with the 4 ohm....they are a bit cheaper and you can wire it down one of them to 2 ohm, or if you have two, you can wire them down to 1 ohm, but make sure your amp is 1 ohm stable. Thanks Sonic!! I would recommend this sub to everyone. I already set 3 car alarms off :)

Great Sub

I had a 122X before and blew it after 3 years - so I got a 124x so I could power it down some on my Power Acoustik 3200w Class-D. Love it, running in a customer 2cuft box ported to 34hz.

Worth every penny

Bought 2 of these subs last week and got them in yesterday. Hooked them up this morning with a power acoustik bamf class D 4000/1. I've already played them for several hours today and I gotta say I'm beyond impressed. I have the amp 1/3 of the way up and they are slamming. I'm going to give it about another week and I'll turn them up another notch and see how it handles. For the price of these subs I don't think there's a better deal out there. If you're looking for top notch head turning bass for the right price this is exactly what you need.

Good subs

I have four in a ten cube box tuned to 36 hertz running on a audiopipe apmi 2k. I'm breaking them in still on 2 ohm at about 1300 watts between the four of them. They are in need of more power butt I'm breaking them in. They are very well built lots of glue on the coil, very well built basket. The surround is good and thick. All in all for the money the subs are great quality don't be scared to order some.

Best "Bang" for your buck!

I have had several different subs over the last year. Not to talk down on other brands, but this sub puts them all to shame. I have mine in a tiny 1 cubic foot sealed box and it hits harder than some dual 12's in a ported box. I'm running it at about 1250 watts rms from a 4500 watt power acoustic amp. I can't wait to buy a second mofo and put them in a ported box. I currently have my single mofo wired at 2 ohms but will wire the pair down to one ohm. I am a somewhat newfound bass head at 28 years old, but I was very impressed with this sub, just make sure you have an amp with enough power to push it.

I have 2 of these wire down to 1ohm and they're crazy powerful subs. Just in case no one else said it these are some power hungry subs that take a beating and give one back. Powered by a mofo 5500, I have the big 3 0 gauge kitby xs and the 0 gauge dual amp kit by nvx and a extra battery in the back and they still push hard as ever.

I bought a pair of these based on other peoples comments/reviews. I am happy with them. I have them in about 1.7cft per sub ported with a 4in round port tuned to about 40 hz. They hit nice and low! I am rating the durability a little low since I have not owned these for more than a few months.

I was skeptical at first. But for the money wow!! I have a pair of these in a 1.8cft per side box tuned with a 4in port to 40hz. I listen to a lot of rock and roll mostly. These things flex my truck so much. I have them on a PA GT1-6000d. Ive tuned the gian, and it just simply rocks, these do what they need to do.

Hands down the best-priced wiring kit I've seen, and this isn't some budget thing you'd settle for because it's a good bang for your buck. This is oxygen free, 1/0 full AWG quality copper wiring. Right now it's running for only $70, and I've seen 4ga kits run for far more than that. I even got this for only $49 and have zero regrets. A few of my coworkers saw it hooked under my hood and were shocked at how huge it was.

And if anybody's wondering, the included fuse is 300a.
