beast mode!

The following review is for XXX15D2 V2, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Hard low level bass, takes punishment throughout the day. Recone kits available. My first one I had for a solid year abusing it every day. Purchased second one while awaiting recone kit. Excited to see what two can do!

Massive subwoofer!!!

The following review is for XXX15D2 V2, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

HUGE subwoofer. Hits deep and hard. Slightly larger hole needed to be cut in my box since this sub is a little bigger in circumference than regular subs. Currently using it for competition. This thing was built as tough as I've ever seen.. Highly recommend!!!

Wow

Why didn't I buy this sub sooner this sub has the best sound quality I've ever heard and it's pretty loud. If you buy this baby you will never buy another subwoofer ever again it's not even broken in yet and it hits the lows so hard and accurately. My wife and father in law love how it sounds and neither one of them are very big on car systems. My wife says she wants a 12 xxx in her car now. Just make sure you have the trunk space to fit the massive box you will have to put it in and an amp with 2000 watts + rms.

Loud!!!

If you want a ground pounder that will crush the lows, you will love this sub. The MSRP/Retail price is a joke though. Don't bother trying to compare this to a W7 or MTX 9500, they are not even on the same planet. The only drawback is the basket is so freakin big, unless you have room for the correct size box, you might be straped for space.

Low end monster

The following review is for XXX15D2 V2, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This sub crunches lows with the best of them. We put it in a 30hz box and it sounded great on music and was awesome on the lows and it metered at 144.7 but i dont remember what frequency that was at. Then we put it in a 26hz box just fur fun and the lows are insane. From 20 to 25 hertz just shakes the doors off the car! It metered at 137db at 20hz which is incredible. The negatives of the sub are it's power handling and terminals. It got smelly pretty quickly on 2500 watts but its been taking 1000 with no problems. I'll put it back on 2500 soon once it's broken in more and see if it takes it. Also the terminals are pretty small for such a beefy sub so if you want to run 8 or 10 gauge you have to run seperate sets from each coil as you can not fit 2 fatties in one terminal. Overall this is a good sub and I'd recommend it.

Good sub

I got this sub in June for my 18th birthday. This sub pounds hard and has great quality. The only thing is the glue they used to glue a price down will come apart once it gets cold over night and detach an then the sub won't work until u send it back to get new one or they fix it. Mine broke bout month and half ago and I have been trying to send it back to Re audio but they won't help on shipping and handling at all and it's 100+ to send it back when u has already spent a lot on the sub. The sub is great till it stopped working.

If you want spl

I have heard a 12w7 and this RE audio sub. The RE can give you lots of sloppy spl but the W7 does the same except cleaner. If you just want bigtime spl and have room this is for you. If you want SQ and SPL get a W7AE. I got 1 in my tahoe and it slams on 600watts. Im going to do 2 12W7AE with a RF 1500watt amp (actually around 1900rms). Its a pricey setup but you will be happier than the RE Audios. NEED new altenator and good battery with these subs and want to give each minimum of 1000watts rms. Your heart may skip a beat but the bass isnt as accurate to MY TASTE, everyone is different though. The real $$$ in ANY setup is the power you give your subs and keeping volts high. Also make sure you have multiple 0guage grounds and ground the battery with 0guage too. Should be ridiculously sick if you do all that!

One hard hithing sub!

The following review is for XXX15D2 V2, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Very happy with the sound and the suprisingly small enclosure specs. Was able to expand my system even further worth the free space.... great price when on sale. Ease of use is lower because this beast is heavy!!!

Pound your brain!!!

Just bought this sub from Sonic Electronix. They were great to deal with! I own a JL 13 W7 which is a great sub but I was ready to take it to the next level. RE Audio xxx did just that, and then some! This sub will pound you into submission! Make sure you have it in the optimal sq ft box(4.0 net air space vented) with lots of clean power. I use it in home theater, powered by a Crown XTI 4000(3200 watts). I have a huge sound room, and it will shake the house like there's an earthquake(probably more!)! If you buy this sub it will be the baddest sub you will ever own!
