Great subs

I had a pair of these with each running off a Fosgate Power 500bd in a sealed box built to specs and these dropped very low. They replaced a pair of Kicker L7 10 inch and I will say the L7 were louder, but these P3 12 inch had a much better and smoother sound quality and were definitely loud enough and hit lower frequencies than the L7 10 inch. I had to get rid of them due to trading for a vehicle that cannot accomodate them, so now I have the P3 shallow mounts and they don't even compare to the standard P3.

Rockford Fosgate are strong subs. They handle a lot of power. Very durable and have incredible sound. If you build the right box and have the right amount of power you can achieve a very high decibel rating. I owned two P3 12 in subs with 2000 watts and hit 145db at a stereo competition. However, I only had them at half volume. I know I could have hit higher. In conclusion I would recommend these Subs to anyone beginner or expert.

Nice sub

Got this sub six months ago cause my Alpine 10" sub rubber cone tore... I hook up the Rockford Fosgate to my 5 channel Hifionics 700.5 amp... The sub banged as much as the amp allowed. ]Not enough power so I work construction and been around different caulking.. Came across this caulking ( 795 Dow corning) I used it the seal up my Alpine sub, let it cure for a week and hooked it back up to my system and it work fine.. So I have the Rockford fosgate ready for my next system!! Great sub

Awesome P3 Sub

Been using the sub for about 6 months now. Have it hooked up to a Rockford 500w 1000w max amp. It pounds quite hard I must say. under 120.00 for a P3 is outstanding for the quality. The sub is lengthy so be sure your box will support it with at least a 1" of space

Pretty Sweet Sub.

I got this thing hooked up 2 days ago and man does it hit hard. I have a ZX450.2 pushing it. It is not going to shake the car next to you but it will definitely shake whatever car it is in. Great sub. and can't beat this price.

Awesome subwoofer

I owned one of these in a sloted ported box running off a JL slsh series amp and this thing was way better than i expected. was very crisp clean bass and had a real nice hit. would reccomend these to a friend any day of the week. Great price for a great subwoofer.

WOW

All i can say is WOW!!! Never imagined two 10's would hit such low bass notes. Broke the weld on my exhaust heat shield a week after install. Cant say anything bad about this sub, especially for the price. I am pushing almost there max rms to them and they sound great no distortion whatsoever.

Pure

A ten inch sub is the best reproduction of high and low bass you can get first of all, so if your looking for a clear quality pure sounding bass this is a perfect sub. I've had alpines, the p1 and the, p2, and i blew all of them out, and none of them had the same knock as the p3

Great

Sounds really good if you like rock or metal or rap. When you play classical though it dosent sound to good though maybe if I played with it more it might. I have it in a regular cab chevy 1500 with a Eclipse XA1000 and Rockford cap with rockford wires. I won't rate the durabity yet because I have only had mine for like 3 months so I couldn't tell you.

Rockford 10" P3

Great woofer that can handle a lot of power. Have 2 hooked to a Kicker ZX750.1 running 954 watts @ 2 ohms. Nice looks, hits hard. Have them in a sealed box in my 96' Camry, would be ridiculous in a ported box. I wanted tight, deep bass, and these deliver!
