I have used my dt-210 daily for 7 years. 6 months ago I loaned it to my wife during the Sandy blackout and she liked it so much I got her one too. I used it under ear muffs at a very noisey plant and we also use it at night as a sleep aid - it shuts off after 90 min. We use ear buds to reduce battery consumption.

Good Buy
This Sangean DT-210 radio is the best digital, portable, multi-channel, AM FM radio on the market. I use it everyday just working around the house. The news I hear on the AM channels keep me up-to-date with the latest politics, local and national news. When a commercial comes on, I can quickly switch to another channel or to FM to listen to music. It is very durible too. I dish out a lot of abuse.

great value, but it died
i think the item was pretty good, althow when i purchased it i thought it would be smaller, then i used it afew times, i droped, it landed on the on, off botton, and stop working. I am feally down and out about this, probable the only thing could hearm it happened, it's a shame, i would have thought it many last for years. bummer.
