Weighing a mere 3.9 ounces, the DT-210 is a small PLL synthesized AM/FM stereo radio small enough to fit in a shirt or jacket pocket and powerful enough to pull in those distant AM/FM stations. A built-in speaker affords headphones-free listening, and 90-minute auto shut-off lets you fall asleep to the radio without fear ofwaking up to dead batteries. With Phase Loop Lock Digital Tuning and Sangean's traditional radio sensitivity, built-in speaker and included ear buds, you will be able to enjoy your morning jog, your short trip to the beach or other outing without missing your favorite AM/FM station if you have the DT-210 pocket radio. You get 25 memory presets (and auto scan) to help you zip right to preferred stations. The radio comes with stereo ear buds and a removable belt clip, as well as a trailing antenna. DBB (Deep Bass Boost) enhances the sonic low end, while a stereo-mono switch improves reception when needed. Measuring a mere 1.5 by 3 by 0.6 inches, the unit runs on two AAA batteries (not included). A low-battery indicator offers a helpful hint on when it's wise to carry replacements.

I have used my dt-210 daily for 7 years. 6 months ago I loaned it to my wife during the Sandy blackout and she liked it so much I got her one too. I used it under ear muffs at a very noisey plant and we also use it at night as a sleep aid - it shuts off after 90 min. We use ear buds to reduce battery consumption.

Good Buy
This Sangean DT-210 radio is the best digital, portable, multi-channel, AM FM radio on the market. I use it everyday just working around the house. The news I hear on the AM channels keep me up-to-date with the latest politics, local and national news. When a commercial comes on, I can quickly switch to another channel or to FM to listen to music. It is very durible too. I dish out a lot of abuse.

great value, but it died
i think the item was pretty good, althow when i purchased it i thought it would be smaller, then i used it afew times, i droped, it landed on the on, off botton, and stop working. I am feally down and out about this, probable the only thing could hearm it happened, it's a shame, i would have thought it many last for years. bummer.
